One day, two weeks later, Adam said, "I hate this place."

Harry was opening the takeaway pizza they ordered when he looked up at Adam.

Adam licked his lips.Every time Harry looked at him he wanted to kiss his smooth and soft body, and he didn't know how long it would take to stop.I hope this day will come soon.

"You hate my apartment?" Harry asked.

Adam met his injured eyes calmly, determined and unwavering.Even if he knew Harry had an odd attachment to the place, he wasn't going to try to keep Harry happy by pretending "it's nice here".

"Don't you think you'll be claustrophobic if you stay here too long, Habbo? It's small and dark and humid. I don't want to leave you here when I get home."

Harlem pursed his lips and looked around the small room. "But here's all I can afford to rent."

Adam frowned. This is impossible. He tipped Harry exaggeratedly, hoping that he could use the money for a better place to live. "What about the tips you earn?"

"There's a blind tramp sitting around the corner outside the cafe," said Harry. "He needs the money more than I do."

Seeing Harry's sincere expression, Adam couldn't bear to tell him that the guy wasn't blind at all.

Adam pinched the bridge of his nose.It wasn't his fault that Harry always thought of everyone extra well. He's not mad at him.He was annoyed at the bastard who took advantage of Harry's kindness to get money.

"Habbo," he said, "would you like to move in with me? I've got a spare room there. I can drive you to work too, so you don't have to take the subway."

Harry stared at him. "real?"

Adam tried to ignore the voice in his heart: You are making a huge mistake. He smiled at Harry, "Really."

"Unless you make me pay the rent," said Harry.

"no problem."

A small smile broke across Harry's face, and then it grew into a huge smile. "Thank you," he said, and suddenly he threw himself into Adam's arms. "You are my favorite person." He pressed against Adam's neck and said softly.

Adam's throat tightened. He cautioned himself against reading too much into the sentence.

"You're the same to me." The weird, uncanny boy slowly crept into him, took hold, and he didn't even know when it happened.Shit, sometimes he couldn't believe he'd only known Harry for six weeks. Before that, Adam had always thought that "predestined relationship in previous lives" was bullshit.

"I'm so glad Mom and Dad sent me here," Harry murmured, brushing his lips lightly over Adam's throat. "you are my best friend."

Ok.

"Yeah." Adam stared at the wall behind Harry.

So be it.
