"It's nice to see you again, Wanda."

Scarlet Witch smiled when she saw the beautiful Rose Lai, and the two walked towards each other and embraced passionately.

"It hasn't been that long actually, Len," Scarlet Witch said with a kind smile.

Rose Lye looked down at the two girls beside Wanda, "Hello, Merlin, Illyana. Have you been with Wanda?"

Merlin puffed up his cheeks and replied with a hint of mischief, "We're not that clingy."

And Illyana couldn't help but giggle.

Roselai looked at Wanda and joked, "It seems that Wanda is much better than we thought." Then she suggested, "I have prepared a place for our reunion. Let's go there to have dinner and meet with other clan leaders."

Wanda seemed a little surprised and asked, "Are they here yet?"

"Soon," Rose Lai replied, a hint of fatigue in her voice. "My mother left a deep scar on Datomir," she continued. "The change has been felt across the planet, and I hope to repair it, to restore the tainted relationship and image of my people."

“Last I heard, some people were resistant to the change.”

Ross Lai scoffed: "There are always some self-righteous fools who just want to cling to the power they are given."

"Are they still there?"

"They have fled, taking with them what resources and other followers they could. They have not been seen since," Ross Lai said, frowning.

The two of them were now standing on the balcony, staring at the distant horizon. Merlin and Illyana also leaned their heads on the railing, staring at the endless distance together.

"Do you think they'll have a problem?"

"Of course, but no action has been taken yet." Ross replied firmly. "I know fools like this will never be satisfied with their current lives. They will always try to regain their lost power. But they also know that they can't do it now."

"It's just a matter of time," Wanda muttered to herself.

The rest of the time they spent staring silently into the distance, where the setting sun of Datomir lit up the firmament of the red planet with an otherworldly glow.

"I heard that an uninvited guest has come to this land." Rose broke the silence between her and Wanda. Her voice echoed in the quiet air, as if telling an unknown secret.

Wanda nodded slightly and agreed, "Yes, a lost Nightsister named Asajj Ventres. She is said to be Illyana's cousin."

"Where is she now?" Rose Lai asked curiously.

"She brought a message...which made me realize that my time in Datomir might not be long." Wanda spoke slowly, causing Merlin and Elena to look up at her.

"Are you-are you leaving?" Merlin's voice was full of disbelief and fear.

Scarlet Witch said with a regretful tone, "I may have to, little one. I have neglected a responsibility that has long existed and now needs my fulfillment."

Rose noticed that Wanda's expression became serious, even heavy. "What kind of responsibility is that?" she asked, full of curiosity.

Wanda was silent for a moment, then continued, "When Asajj Ventres arrived at Datomir, she was badly wounded and weak. Her people performed an ancient ritual designed to heal her body and soul. During the ritual, I saw her entire life, and...it turned out that she was not an ally, but more of an enemy."

Ross frowned and asked in confusion: "How did you come to this conclusion?"

"I've seen her fight my brother, my team, my friends. She's been trying to kill them in this war across the galaxy," Wanda added.

Rose Lai said softly, "I didn't expect it to be so complicated. But if she was here, why did you leave Datomir?"

Wanda took a deep breath, turned around and leaned against the railing, and was silent for a moment. Then she said slowly: "Besides knowing that my friends and brothers are still alive, she is not the only enemy of the Avengers. The struggle of our team is far more complicated than imagined."

Her friends looked at each other, lost in thought. The afterglow of the setting sun shone on them, reflecting the doubts and anxieties in their hearts.

Wanda continued: "Ventress is still fighting another enemy, actually that is my enemy. Wanda whispered. "When I last saw him, I thought he was dead."

Having said that, Wanda's eyes instantly turned a deep red, as if they were burned by fire, but the redness disappeared in a flash.

"Ultron." She spoke the name in a cold and firm tone.

Ross was curious about the name, and the children's faces showed a hint of resonance.

Wanda seemed to sense their reaction. "Oh, I almost forgot." She shook her head slightly, a flash of memory in her eyes. "I never told you about him and what I experienced on Earth."

She took a few deep breaths, as if trying to calm her inner exhaustion. "On Earth, when I gained my powers, my brother and I met a man who called himself Ultron." Wanda recalled her first encounter with the crazy artificial intelligence. "He claimed that his mission was to save our world."

"Save your world?" Rose repeated doubtfully.

Wanda shook her head slightly and clarified, "He was indeed designed to 'save the world', but it was more of a temptation than a plan. My brother and I were a group of passionate young people who were easily bewitched by him. He gave us what we wanted, and we were even willing to act according to any plan he made, as long as he could kill those so-called 'heroes' on Earth."

"However, our alliance is destined to be short-lived," Wanda continued, "because I know his true intentions. What he calls 'saving the world' is actually the destruction of all life on our planet."

Ross' eyes widened in shock. "Destruction? How could he do that? And can he really achieve such a goal?"

"The peace of our time was as illusory as he said." Wanda's voice was tinged with sadness. "His method was to drop a city, use it as a meteor to fall to the earth, and use a special metal to enhance its destructive power. It is a complicated memory for me. In the end, we did stop his plan and we defeated him, but it seems not to be thorough enough."

"Because he's back." Wanda's eyes flashed with determination, "This time, we have to be more careful. We can't let him succeed again. He's back, and he's now waging war on the entire galaxy. My friends have been fighting him while I was here. I'm an Avenger."

Ross asked, "Have you forgotten that you are caught up in this chaos? Without your help, Datomir would have fallen to my mother's power. There are only two choices for us, either die in battle or submit to her rule."

However, Wanda countered, "But I should consider leaving and reuniting with my team."

"Where will you go? And how will you go? Do you know how to sail a boat?" Rose Lai asked.

Wanda's tone became fierce: "It doesn't matter."

Rose Lai gently raised his hands to calm her down: "If this bothers you, why don't you just leave?"

Wanda softened her expression and pulled Merlin and Elena closer. "Isn't it obvious?" she asked, wrapping her arms around them. "How can I leave these two little ones alone, don't you?"

After hearing this, Ross responded with an understanding smile, "What now?"

Wanda hugged Elena silently and whispered, "I have to go."

Merlin and Elena looked horrified at this moment.

But Wanda continued, “But not now.”

Ross' mood became depressed: "It seems that you have to leave eventually."

Wanda said firmly: "This is my mission. I can't ignore it. I must return to my brother. Without me, he is like a boat lost in the vast ocean."

As soon as he finished speaking, a burst of laughter was heard from a distance.
