Marvel crosses Star Wars, and everyone attacks the galaxy

Chapter 452: The founder of the Nightsisters is still alive?

"Mother Rose." The voice came from another Datomirian, with a slightly mischievous tone.

Rose Lai turned around with an annoyed smile on his face. "Sona, you know I told you not to call me that, right?"

Hearing this, the woman lowered her head shyly, like a shy flower about to bloom. "I know about the moth - Mrs. Lai."

Rose rolled her eyes playfully, her good-natured sarcasm tinged with affection. "Well, Mrs. Leigh is a lot better than 'Mom' to me." She thought to herself that although she longed to be called a mother, she hoped that would be after she had children of her own.

At this moment, Sona hurriedly said, "Of course, Miss Lai." There was a hint of urgency in her voice. The patriarch looked up at the sky, suppressing the waves in his heart.

Wanda smirked at her friends' reactions.

"So, Sona," Rose said, "what happened?"

"The leaders of Menghe, Geshan, and Yuye are here," Sona bowed respectfully, "They are all waiting for you."

"Oh, okay." Rose Lai smiled easily. She turned to Wanda, "Come on, Wanda. You are as qualified as I am to meet them."

“Are you sure?” Wanda’s voice was hesitant. “It looks to me like a witch’s gathering.”

"In any case," Ross said firmly, "I am sure the leaders of these tribes will be happy to meet the outsider who helped us rescue Datomir from Zalem."

After a moment of silence, Wanda shrugged and said, "If you insist, then I'll go."

Then, Ross led Wanda, Merlin and Illyana into a room with simple but subtle luxury decoration. In the center of the room was a hexagonal table with many chairs around it. Among these chairs, there were several women, representing witches from different tribes of Datomiri.

"Sisters, here I come." Rose greeted loudly, her voice full of intimacy and anticipation. "I am very happy to see you here. I thank you all for coming here in such a short time."

A dark-skinned witch of the night with intricately braided hair, wearing a variety of amulets and brown and beige robes, spoke up, "We are honored to see you, too." There was a unique sense of majesty and respect in her voice.

"So, who could this special guest be?" another witch with an albino complexion and black markings on her nose and under her lower lip asked curiously.

Wanda stood quietly by, her eyes like a deep lake, peaceful and deep.

Rose Lai introduced to the tribal leader: "This is Wanda Maximoff." Then, she pointed to the two girls beside her, "These are her apprentices Merlin and Illyana."

Then, she introduced them to Wanda, "These three are Kamina and Astrinno, the leaders of the Yuhe, Geshan, and Yuye clans."

Wanda bowed modestly to show her respect, and her two daughters followed her lead. The leader of the Rainleaf Clan's eyes seemed to sparkle with wisdom, and she stood up from her chair and slowly walked towards Wanda. She stared into Wanda's eyes, as if she could see into her soul.

"This is the Avenger who defeated Zalem, right?" The patriarch of the Rainleaf clan asked softly, revealing an indescribable respect in his tone.

Wanda blinked, and the corners of her mouth rose slightly, revealing a bright smile. "Oh, I am sure I made the right choice."

The leader of the Rainleaf clan replied gently, "On behalf of my clan and all the witch tribes of Datomir, I express my undying gratitude to you. We owe you a great debt of gratitude."

Feeling the sincerity in the words of the Rainleaf Clan's patriarch, Wanda smiled. "No need to thank me, I'm just doing what I should do."

"So, she was really defeated?" Kamina whispered to herself, with a hint of doubt in her tone.

"Then why are you here again?" asked the patriarch of the Yuye clan.

"I am now the representative of Talzin and her Nightsisters," Wanda answered honestly. "While this may not be an official statement, I will inform Talzin of what happened here upon my return. I'm sure she won't mind."

"But you are not one of us," pointed out Astrinno, the chief of the Geshan clan.

"I understand that," Wanda nodded, "but at least I've earned the right to talk to you."

"We were wondering if you were aware of the long-standing hostility between the Nightsisters and other tribes," Astrinor asked curiously.

"I am aware of these things," Wanda replied, "but I will not have anything to do with these prejudices."

"So, what is the reason for your visit?" Kamina asked directly.

"Rose asked me to come here," Wanda answered simply.

"Very well," Kamina began, "We may need your help, Mrs. Maximov."

Wanda raised an eyebrow at this straightforward request. "Forgive me," she asked with a hint of confusion, "but why?" This question caught the attention of everyone present.

Kamina frowned, but did not answer the question. Instead, she asked, "Tell me, Madam Maximov, have you ever been to the site of the invasive substance that Zalem used?"

Wanda shook her head in confusion. She instantly understood what the tribal leader meant. "No..." There was a hint of surprise in her voice. "Please tell me, what happened there? Are there any new changes?"

Kamina crossed her arms, looking a little uneasy. "There is indeed a strange smell in the air, as if Zalem's existence has been awakened again." There was an indescribable heaviness in her words.

Wanda's brows furrowed as she tried to take it all in. "Wait, you mean the blue dome? But I destroyed it completely."

Astrinno shook his head slightly. "That thing is not so easy to completely disappear. Its roots and energy, even if the external form is destroyed, its influence will still remain. There will always be some power that can be used by those who come later."

Wanda sighed softly, "We were so eager to stop Zalem's invasion that we didn't think about completely eradicating all the influence it left behind."

Ogwen, the chief of the Rainleaf clan, asked with sympathy: "How did you know this?"

"I inferred this from the energy fluctuations I felt during my confrontation with Zalem," Wanda explained. "The consumption of that power nearly exhausted me. Anyone would feel exhausted after a fight like this."

Ross patted her shoulder gently and comforted her: "You have done well enough. The past cannot be changed."

"So, what's going on with that blue spot of light?"

"I saw visions of the future through the rituals of my clan," Ogwen replied. "During our travels, we sensed this peculiar change in the air and sought its source. What we found was... disturbing."

At this time, a white mist emerged around Ogwen's hand, gathering into a transparent sphere floating in the hand of the tribal leader. This white mist was different from the magic of the Nightsisters that Wanda was familiar with. It was bright and warm, in stark contrast to the sickly green used by Talzin and his witches.

The white sphere grew until it spread out and reformed into a series of symbols that neither Rose nor Wanda recognized.

"What...are these?" Ross Lai asked puzzledly, his eyes focused on the string of strange symbols.

"These symbols belong to the Nightsisters." Ogwen's voice sounded solemn and serious. "These symbols were carved by the founder and first leader of the Nightsisters - a witch, a vile witch named Gthzerain."

"Gethzerian?" Wanda couldn't help but wonder, "This name sounds a bit too much. Who is she? Is she a super villain?"

"She is an evil being, to say the least." Ogwen smiled bitterly, then glanced at the Scarlet Witch, "and extremely dangerous. She once ruled Datomir with iron and blood for centuries."

"It's like she will never grow old." Astrinno also spoke.

Wanda tilted her head slightly, "I don't mean to pry, but this Gerthzerian...how old is she?"

"Centuries," Ogwyn answered. "I should say three or four."

"How many centuries?" Wanda asked again.

"The entity that dominates the order of our planet has existed for six hundred years, Ms. Maximov. And my family - my name - is a descendant of her mother," Ogwen Joe explained.

"Then why is she still alive?" Wanda was puzzled. "She... is she still alive?"

"If she were gone, we wouldn't be talking about her anymore." Astrinno's voice seemed a little cold and mechanical. "So, she is indeed still alive."
