HP Shavings Wizard

Chapter 8 Dumbledore still lives in the opposite chapter

Alison lowered her eyes and thought for a moment, then reminded him carefully: "Then don't reveal my identity. I still want to pretend in front of my father."

Grindelwald raised an eyebrow. He didn't expect her to take it so seriously. He even emphasized it again: "Do you really want to attract Albus' attention?"

Although some children do like to do bad things to attract the attention of their loved ones, Albus, who has experienced two Dark Lords, is obviously not so simple in being vigilant and paying attention to the existence of a suspected Dark Lord. That kind of unconscious majesty will silence even the most mischievous children.

Albus clearly stated her identity directly, and he, who longed for family and was responsible, would naturally pay attention to and love Alison and try his best to be a good father.

He didn't think Alison hadn't thought of it. So was she in her rebellious phase and had to compete with her father? Or was there another plan?

Alison gave a cute fake smile and made up a perfunctory explanation to fool people: "I just want him to reminisce about your younger self. Anyway, you won't be with him for the time being, so what's wrong with letting me do some substitute literature?"

Grindelwald reached out and poked her head, not denying the little bastard's speculation that he would not stay with Dumbledore for a while: "...whatever you want."

Alison changed the subject: "Actually, I originally planned to take you to the UK through the Muggle airport. This way we can bypass the immigration control of the Ministry of Magic, it is concealed enough, and I can also take you to see the current Muggle world."

Grindelwald chuckled, a little surprised: "What's so interesting about the Muggle world?"

Alison added calmly, "I only came into contact with magic three years ago. Before that, I had always lived in the Muggle world... The active society of billions of people has allowed Muggles to develop rapidly. It is very different from your time."

Grindelwald paused, pondered for a moment, and did not reject the proposal: "Okay."

However, it is obvious that Grindelwald still needs to gather his existing loyal followers, understand the current situation, and gather and appease his own forces. He escaped from prison not to continue his great cause, but he still needs some forces to back him up.

Alison looked a little awkward as she watched him prepare to tidy up a bit and head to the hall.

When talking about Grindelwald's followers, it is hard not to think of his assistant in the movie, Wenda Rosier, nicknamed the Black Rose of France, who has a strong presence around him.

Just by watching the movie, you can feel the loyalty and admiration of following beliefs at all costs. If this were put into reality, there would probably have been gossip about her admiring Grindelwald.

One of the few powerful witches, from an ancient pure-blood family, with outstanding abilities and shrewdness, and with the romantic charm of France...

Although she knew that Gellert looked down on people other than Albus, Alison still felt unhappy subconsciously. Not only because of the child's desire to protect and possess his father's family, but also because the blood alliance inherited some of their feelings for each other when they were young.

Even if the young Dumbledore was gentle and rational, he would be unhappy if he knew that his lover had an admirer who was with him all the time.

What's more, Dumbledore was also young and energetic at that time, and was almost a complete dark wizard.

Alison couldn't help herself, she stared at Grindelwald, observing his expression, and asked awkwardly.

"… Could it be that the legendary Wenda Rosier?"

Grindelwald saw through Alison's thoughts, laughed dumbly, and tapped her head: "Put away your sourness, Wenda is just my assistant. Also, don't think too highly of her."

Alison pursed her lips: "Of course I know she is not simple! A simple person can't become your assistant, a core member of the Saints."

Grindelwald's expression showed some surprise at his daughter's maturity and rationality.

"I thought you were only interested in my romantic debt."

Alison gave a sinister and slightly malicious fake smile: "I am indeed eyeing you two old men who are attracting bees and butterflies! One is surrounded by fanatical fans, and the other is surrounded by favorite students. One day I will really destroy them all."

Grindelwald laughed and raised his hand to pinch the back of her neck frivolously, like he was pinching a pet cat.

"Childish little bastard."

Alison ran away in dissatisfaction, too lazy to talk nonsense. No matter how much nonsense she talked, it would not change the current situation. She might as well go to the study and get a few books to enrich herself.

After being influenced by several game worlds, Alison's spirit, intelligence, and energy, which are related to mages, have already been quite high. Now she is completely like the idiom of "reading ten lines at a glance", "remembering everything she sees", "understanding everything she hears", and remembering the contents of maps and books is a piece of cake.

She didn't have the leisure to run around and explore in an unfamiliar environment, even if it was Grindelwald Manor.

The study room is more appropriately called a small library. It has rows and rows of shelves that are too far for a normal person to reach, all filled with books. Many of the books on the dark arts and transfiguration are placed in easy reach.

As for the ladder? Of course there are no Muggle items here, and an adult wizard can get the book with a Summoning Charm.

There was an extra shelf containing the wizarding Transfiguration journal, Transfiguration Today, the authoritative equivalent of Nature and Science in the Muggle world.

Grindelwald’s Transfiguration skills were not bad, he even used human Transfiguration to disguise himself as the second-in-command of the Magical Congress of the United States in the United States… but he wanted to buy a British journal that specialized in cutting-edge Transfiguration?

Alison casually took down an old copy of Transfiguration Today from the side of the shelf and flipped through it. The publication date was 1899, but the date was hard to read. The dates in the magic world were all recorded using astronomical planets, such as where Jupiter and Saturn moved, and it was impossible to understand without some knowledge of astronomy.

And she happened to be an astronomy illiterate who had never learned any astronomy knowledge and was only concerned with doing magic.

Alison's slender fingers paused slightly on a certain page.

Above is a magical photo of young Dumbledore.

At that time, the young and talented prefect of Hogwarts was about to graduate. The gold and red collar and the uniform school robe made him look picturesque, gentle and high-spirited.

Of course, this was not a personal magazine, so the photo only took up a corner, as an introduction to the author of the paper. But among a group of old, ordinary-looking wizards, this young genius who had not yet reached adulthood was simply a natural luminous being, grabbing people's attention at a glance.

She thought she probably understood the main reason these journals existed.

Alison tried to focus on the Transfiguration paper, and she gradually became absorbed in it. Some of the techniques and conjectures were quite interesting even to her now, and the paper was written in a clear and humorous way.

So she cleared out a small area on the shelf and took out a stack of periodicals.

To exaggerate a little, she was even a little grateful for this because her father Albus needed to earn royalties to support the family at that time.

Alison snuck back to her bedroom, holding the book.
