HP Shavings Wizard

Chapter 7 Future Plans

Grindelwald laughed. Alison was indeed still a child, playful and childish. He seemed to be able to imagine Albus's expression of being at a loss whether to laugh or cry.

Removing the filter of blood relationship, testing and deliberately provoking Albus's defenses, and attracting his father's attention are completely childish behaviors that only a child would do.

However, based on his understanding of Albus, even if he was angry, Albus would still patiently try to understand Alison. After all, Alison was their child, and even if she was rebellious now, Albus would tolerate her and try to guide her onto the right path.

Thinking of this, Grindelwald's strange eyes became deep.

He was actually a little jealous.

People are greedy. Even though he got Albus's only love, he was still dissatisfied with Albus's attention to those students. He was jealous that Albus would have so much time and patience to accompany and guide Alison in the future, while he...

Alison was keenly aware of his jealousy and stabbed him with a smile: "Oh, isn't this the result of someone abandoning love to pursue a career? According to the old saying in the East, this is called drawing water with a bamboo basket, a waste of time~"

Some dark wizards seek power and domination, like Grindelwald in the past. Some are like Alison, who is a fun-loving person in the chaotic evil camp, who is afraid that the world will not be in chaos and likes to fan the flames and watch the show torment others.

The former is like an ambitious politician who will do anything to achieve his goals, while the latter is a madman who acts recklessly and whose behavior is unpredictable. It is hard to tell which one is more dangerous.

Grindelwald was obviously helpless. This little bastard was only a teenager, but he was so good at stabbing people. Every strike was fatal and very accurate.

Alison stuffed a piece of sausage into her mouth and heard her old father's question.

"Have you thought about what to do next?"

Alison blinked, slyly and cleverly, deliberately dragging out her tone: "My daddy and father are so powerful, with the Saints on one side and the Order of the Phoenix on the other, together they are almost the whole of Europe, so I must be..."

It seems that Alison wants to inherit their career and take this difficult road. Grindelwald is rarely relieved and expectant.

Alison said the result shamelessly: "...living off my parents."

The old father was choked by her and almost spit out the white wine in his mouth, with veins bulging on his forehead.

Alison's expression was both joyful and evil. She was blatantly observing his reaction, and it was obvious that she was enjoying playing a prank on him.

Grindelwald took a deep breath, tried to calm himself, and forced a smile. He told himself not to get angry with the naughty child, not to hit the child because of this, otherwise it would seem too intolerant.

He was imprisoned alone in Nurmengard for half a century, and his temper has improved now...

Alison looked regretful and continued to add fuel to the fire, not caring at all about getting burned. Anyway, Gellert couldn't beat her: "If you had won, I would be the daughter of the king of the world now, walking sideways all over the world, waiting for you to explode gold coins."

"Zi La"

The knife rudely scraped across the plate with a noise that gave me goosebumps.

Grindelwald's face turned completely dark.

"Shut up. I'm not here to help you realize your dream." Grindelwald gritted his teeth, enunciating each word. He looked at Alison's regretful expression and sneered, "Don't even think about it."

He must be out of his mind to ask this brat what she wanted to do in the future. He should have just packed her up and sent her to England to let Albus take care of her.

He originally thought that if Alison had any naive ideals or wanted to do something great, he could encourage, help, educate and guide her and be a good father.

Now it seems that he is overthinking.

You are really bored.

After getting angry, Alison tilted her head innocently, blinked her eyes, and tried to act cute with her face that looked very similar to that of the young Albus.

The plan turned out to be a mistake. Grindelwald had no mercy at all. Instead, he could no longer tolerate it and gave her a physical hit on the head with his wand.

The moment before the wand hit, it was blocked by the silent wandless armor spell that appeared in an instant when it was close to the body. Alison exaggeratedly screamed in pain, trying to give people some psychological comfort: "Ouch~ It hurts~"

Grindelwald had a blank expression on his face. He put away his wand and continued with his dinner, not bothering to pay attention to the naughty child.

The food on the table was tempting, and there were also small desserts. Alison finally stopped acting up and started to eat obediently.

After dinner, Grindelwald let Alison walk around the castle by herself to familiarize herself with the environment, while he went to deal with the matters of the Saints.

Alison leaned over curiously and said, "Hey! Are you going to go to the UK through the channels of your followers? But you don't have much influence in the UK, right?"

Grindelwald raised his eyebrows, and a vague smile appeared on the corner of his lips: "…Who said that?"

!!!

Alison's eyes widened, very surprised: "You actually stole Albus's father's home!"

Grindelwald laughed and flicked her head. "What do you mean by stealing a house? That's the rational use of human resources."

Alison had no interest in resisting now. The news revealed by her old father made her mind race and her eyes darken.

From the outside world's perspective, Grindelwald's main sphere of influence is in Germany, France, Austria and other European regions outside the UK. Because his only rival, Albus Dumbledore, is in the UK, Grindelwald's influence does not appear to have spread to the UK. The main battles of the "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" series of movies she watched before traveling through time also took place outside the UK.

However, the film also implicitly hinted that Grindelwald was indeed in collusion with some high-ranking officials of the British Ministry of Magic. For example, the then Director of the British Law Enforcement Department, Travers, sent Aurors to openly monitor Dumbledore, played a secret film of Grindelwald and Dumbledore making a blood pact in a barn in disheveled clothes, and put magical handcuffs on Dumbledore.

The default rule of the British Ministry of Magic is that the Director of the Department of Law Enforcement is the next Minister of Magic, and this is true for at least eight out of ten. Whether out of interest or true following, such people can listen to Grindelwald. One reason is that the British Ministry of Magic is really rotten, with a bunch of politicians who only care about their own interests, and the other is that Gellert Grindelwald is indeed very capable.

But Alison didn't expect that half a century later, Grindelwald was still confident that he could control some of the British connections without having access to real-time intelligence.

Moreover, after so many years of fighting between the Death Eaters and the Order of the Phoenix, the Saints, as an old-fashioned organization, still had some loyal remnants...

At this moment, she had a vague sense of catching a glimpse of the behemoth that ruled Europe in its heyday, with a hundred thousand saints.

Alison frowned, thinking of Dumbledore, who was known as the only one who could fight against Grindelwald, so she tried to ask: "…So when will Albus know that you have escaped from prison?"

Grindelwald said nonchalantly, "By the time he finds out, I'll be in England."
