HP: The Blood Prince of Hogwarts

Chapter 12 Blood Lollipop

"No, he's protecting Harry, it's Quirrell." Olga said angrily, "He really has no memory."

Hermione quickly turned the telescope towards Quirrell and found that he was also muttering something. She then remembered what Olga had said in the first Defense Against the Dark Arts class. It seemed that there was some secret hidden under the large scarf on Professor Quirrell's head.

Olga snapped her fingers, and Quirrell's head suddenly caught fire. He was forced to stop casting the spell and left the stadium in embarrassment, covering his face with his scarf.

After this little episode, Harry's broom returned to normal. Ron looked at Olga in admiration and exclaimed, "So cool."

The game continued in full swing. At this time, the seekers of both teams had already determined the location of the Snitch, but the little thing was obviously very cunning and led the two to rush to the ground.

Slytherin's Seeker gave up at the critical moment, but Harry, as a brave Gryffindor, slowly stood up on his broom, seized the opportunity to pounce on the Golden Snitch, and rolled on the ground several times before stopping.

Everyone looked at Harry nervously until he spit out the golden ball from his mouth, and Gryffindor finally won the game.

Hermione hugged Olga excitedly: "Thanks to you! Thanks to you for saving Harry!"

Having won the game, Wood seemed unusually easy to talk to. After saying goodbye to his team members, he couldn't wait to run towards Ron and the others who were waiting at the castle gate.

Fred and George excitedly ran up to Olga and spun her around in celebration.

"Little snake! You are our lucky goddess!" Fred said exaggeratedly.

George thought of Olga's "blessing" and whispered in her ear, "Is that the 'lucky' one? I'm not hurt today!"

"What lucky? Why didn't I know!" Fred complained dissatisfiedly.

"You're always getting hurt?" Olga frowned. "Why do you like such a dangerous sport?"

Zero calmly separated George and spoke softly, "Because no one can resist the joy of flying."

Olga didn't understand but respected the situation. She just raised her hand silently and healed several people's injuries, big and small.

After Harry learned what happened on the field, he thought of what Hagrid had taken him out of Gringotts. Perhaps the three-headed dog was guarding that thing.

Hermione pointed out that the troll incident on Halloween might have been staged by Quirrell himself, who wanted to take advantage of the chaos to break into the room on the fourth floor and steal things.

Several people ran to ask Hagrid. Hagrid didn't expect Harry to know about the three-headed dog. He was surprised and blurted out Nicolas Flamel's name. Hagrid, feeling guilty, was unwilling to utter another word in the face of Harry's questioning.

The foursome began to investigate Nicolas Flamel's affairs, and they all tacitly agreed not to disturb Olga. After spending some time together, everyone realized that the little vampire princess was actually not very interested in the things around her.

Before they knew it, it was December. Ever since the Quidditch match, Draco had been unilaterally caught in a cold war with Olga.

Theodore was happy to see this happen, as he finally didn't have to endure Malfoy's nagging anymore.

"What are your plans for the Christmas holidays?" Theodore asked Olga after the Charms class.

"Uh...sleeping in the dormitory?" Olga had no good feelings about the day commemorating the birth of Jesus, who was the mortal enemy of their blood clan.

"Are you interested in coming to Nott Manor?" Theodore invited sincerely. He wanted to show the kitten his territory.

Olga was a little surprised. In her impression, Theodore was usually taciturn. He was very smart, but he always seemed to be out of this world and indifferent to everything.

It was really surprising that he would invite her.

"I--" Olga was thinking about how to refuse, but Theodore interrupted her in time.

"The Nott family has a lot of books. I remember there are some records about magic circles. I wonder if you would be interested."

Olga's eyes lit up, but she hesitated. Christmas seemed to be a very important holiday for humans. "Will it disturb your family?"

"My mother died when I was very young. There were only my father and I in the manor, but..." Theodore lowered his head, "My father often appeared and disappeared, so I was alone most of the time."

Olga suddenly understood why Theodore had always been so withdrawn. Compared to him, Draco was really happy.

"Then... thank you for your help."

Where Olga couldn't see, Theodore showed a triumphant smile, he was indeed a soft-hearted kitten.

Draco was regretting his decision to die. Olga had completely turned a blind eye to his cold war, and he didn't know why the Godfather had lifted Olga's detention after Halloween. Now, Olga didn't need him at all, and he couldn't even get out of the way!

Everyone in Slytherin has been consciously keeping away from Malfoy recently, for fear of being angered by the hot-tempered young master.

After the Potions class that day, the four people who had been acting mysterious recently excitedly pulled Olga away from Theodore.

When Olga walked out of the castle, she found that there was thick snow everywhere, and even the Black Lake was covered with ice.

There were excited little wizards all around, some of whom were having snowball fights.

She couldn't help but reach out to catch the falling snow from the sky. The snowflakes fell gently into her palms and did not melt for a long time.

The girl stood quietly in the snow, her black hair and eyelashes dotted with white, her eyes slightly drooped, her red lips tightly closed, her whole body exuding a sense of fragility and powerlessness.

Ling's breathing stagnated slightly, and he raised his hand with some heartache, wanting to brush away the dazzling white. Suddenly, there was a sound of breaking air in the air, knocking his hand away in mid-air. It was a ball of snow.

George's heart was beating like thunder. At that moment he felt that Olga did not belong to this world. He always knew that this little princess had many secrets, but at this moment he was really afraid that she would suddenly disappear from his world.

Seeing Zero trying to touch Olga's hand, he just threw a snowball reflexively.

"Hey, want to have a snowball fight?" Fred came to the rescue of his brother.

Ron and Harry picked up snowballs and threw them at the twins without hesitation. Hermione and Zero, who didn't want to join at first, were forced to join the battle under the siege of several people.

Olga watched them playing silently. Everyone tacitly avoided her position and intentionally or unintentionally blocked the snowballs thrown by other little wizards accidentally.

George found the right time to approach her and cast a spell on the snowball, making it jump from Olga's head to her shoulders and finally into her hands and explode.

Olga was not annoyed by George's little trick, and a smile appeared on her face.

George breathed a sigh of relief when he saw this. Only when the little snake princess smiled could she look more popular.

At this time, Quirrell passed by. Seeing this, Fred signaled to George with his eyes. They also knew what happened in Olga's first Defense Against the Dark Arts class.

The two smiled slyly and let the enchanted snowball chase Quirrell and hit the back of his head.

Olga's smile widened. She really deserved it. However, Gryffindor was deducted five points for this.

On the way back to the castle, no one spoke.

Fred couldn't bear the depressing atmosphere and asked casually, "What are your plans for Christmas?"

Hermione had decided to go home early, and of course Harry couldn't go back to the Dursleys. Ron and the twins also chose to stay in school because their mother decided to visit Bill.

Zero looked at Olga, who paused for a moment before speaking, "Zero will stay at school. I'll go to Nott Manor."

Everyone had different reactions. Ron and Harry looked at each other in disbelief, Fred looked at George, Hermione looked at Zero, while George and Zero stared at Olga, who had a blank expression on her face.

"I'm going to the Nott family's library. There might be something I need there." Olga ignored everyone's reactions and just walked on her own way.

"What do you need? Can we help?" Hermione asked tentatively.

Zero suddenly interrupted: "Records of magic circles, and wizards who can study magic circles. From the head of the Nott family——"

"No problem. Theodore said his father will be in France during the Christmas holidays."

Ling clenched his hands tightly, but only said: "Be careful."

After sending Olga back to the common room, everyone walked towards the Gryffindor Tower together.

Harry and Ron didn't understand why everyone was so silent, but they didn't dare to ask.

Hermione tried to change the subject: "Olga seems to like snow very much?"

Ling nodded, then shook his head: "This is the first time Your Highness has seen snow. The territory of the blood clan does not have four seasons, and there is no change in weather."

Several people were speechless. This sounded really bad.

Fred looked at the depressed George and made up an excuse to say goodbye to the four-member team.

"Come on, bro." Fred bumped George's shoulder.

George shook his head and said, "I'm fine, I just feel a little sad." He smiled self-deprecatingly, "Isn't she of noble status? But she always seems to have a lot on her shoulders, and I can't even help her a little bit."

"Who said that?! The blood lollipop produced by Weasley is genuine and will definitely be the best Christmas present the little snake has ever received!" Fred said jokingly. Their candy has been successfully developed and is waiting to be given out.

George cheered himself up: "You're right, brother."

The day before the Christmas holiday, the Weasley brothers found Olga at the door of the Slytherin common room. Without saying anything, they carried her to a corner with few people, and before Olga was about to have an outburst, they took out beautifully wrapped candies.

"You won't be in school on Christmas, so we can only give you the gift in advance, little snake princess." George said aggrievedly, like a big golden retriever abandoned by its owner.

"This is something we developed exclusively for you! Try it!" Fred urged excitedly.

Olga looked at the two large dogs suspiciously, "I remember telling you that I can't taste human food."

“So it’s made especially for you!”

"You will definitely like it!" the two said one after another.

Well, Olga resigned herself to her fate and picked up one at random, tore open the package and threw it into her mouth, but suddenly her eyes widened.

"This is - Fred? You put your own blood in the sugar?"

Fred felt like his heart skipped a beat when he heard his name, but he pretended not to care and raised his eyebrows and said to George, "You lose, she ate mine first."

"She just picked one at random! You're just lucky!" George was unconvinced, "Try mine again, Princess."

After saying that, he picked up another one, peeled it and handed it to Olga's mouth.

Olga opened her mouth to take it. George's fingers trembled slightly. He calmly put his hands behind his back and gently rubbed the place that Olga had just "kissed". The roots of his ears hidden in his red hair were already red.

"How about it? Do you prefer 'Fred' or 'George'?"

Fred seemed oblivious to his brother's emotions and was just stubbornly determined to win.

Olga was choked and looked at Fred in surprise, who was talking nonsense.

Fred then realized what nonsense he had just said. His face turned red and he stammered, "No, no, I, I mean, that, candy! Yes, the taste of candy, is Fred's candy better or George's candy...better."

George noticed something sharply, glanced at Fred with an ambiguous look in his eyes, and patted Olga's back to calm her down.

After Olga caught her breath, she smiled gratefully at George and ignored Fred's question.

"How did you do it?"

George smiled mysteriously, leaned down and looked at Olga's face seriously and asked, "Do you like it?"

Olga nodded honestly.

Fred also came over: "We have been researching for a long time about how to keep blood fresh! We want to make sure that adding blood to the candy will not affect its taste, and we also want the candy mixed with blood to last longer, so we took so long! This is the most successful one we have ever done!"

Olga frowned when she heard this: "Many times? Where is the wound?"

The twins smiled awkwardly, trying to divert the little princess's attention.

"Try this lollipop! This is our most satisfying creation! It is a mixture of both our blood. How does it taste?"

Fred proudly picked up the prettiest lollipop, well, it was two-colored.

Olga didn't answer, nor did she say anything, but just continued to stare at the two troublesome red-haired guys.

"It's all your fault for talking too much." George glared at Fred, and they both rolled up their sleeves at the same time, resigned to their fate.

Olga looked at her two arms covered with scars in silence. The newest one hadn't even scabbed over yet.

"Don't you feel any pain?"

"Hey, we're here for a great experiment!"

“And it was a success!”

"And I can be loved by the princess!"

“It’s such an honor!”

The girl lowered her head, and the boys couldn't see her expression. They thought she was angry, so they could only play tricks on her.

Olga stretched out her hands, and her fingertips with white light slowly stroked her arms. Fred and George closed their mouths and watched her movements in rare silence.

As the last wound healed, Olga withdrew her hand and looked up at the identical face in front of her with an ambiguous expression.

"why?"

"Why else, if not because George likes——"

George covered Fred's mouth and continued, "Because we like to explore some new candies! Yes! That's it!"

Fred struggled to whimper and expressed his dissatisfaction with his eyes.

"What do you want from me?" Olga asked coldly.
