HP: The Blood Prince of Hogwarts
Chapter 11 Quidditch
Olga was not angry. She always felt that Snape's attitude towards her was very subtle, as if he was warning her.
But she had no interest in discovering other people's secrets. She just didn't want to watch her dean bleed and couldn't bear to see any waste.
She did not refute the professor who was spraying venom casually, and walked towards Snape on her own.
Snape's brows furrowed deeper and deeper, and just as he was about to open his mouth to stop it, he saw Olga suddenly squat down and touch his wound with her hand.
He froze, staring at the girl in disbelief: "You treat your professor like this—"
Before he could finish his words, he felt a cold force coming from the wound, slowly healing the place where he was bleeding.
Olga's fingertips had a soft white halo, which made her skin look even whiter and almost transparent.
Snape stared at Olga who was concentrating, and was speechless for a moment.
"Okay, my poor old professor, if you are sick, remember to seek medical treatment in time." Olga said and walked out of the cellar without looking back.
Snape stared at the direction where Olga left with a puzzled expression, without moving for a long time.
—
London started to get very cold after November. Draco often complained that under the double attack of the air temperature and Olga's body temperature, he felt as if he was always in an ice cellar and was about to become a corpse.
Olga said that he didn't have to get so close to her, but Draco still stuck to her every day, saying that "maybe if I keep her warm, Olga will have body temperature." The naive young master still cannot accept the fact that vampires are born without body temperature.
Theodore sneered at Draco's childish behavior, but quietly moved closer to Olga, just in case what Malfoy said was true.
The Quidditch season of this school year will soon begin, and the first game will be between Gryffindor and Slytherin.
Harry and Zero have been trained so badly by Wood recently that they even have to squeeze out time to eat.
Wood believes that these two, as fresh blood in the team, may play a crucial role in the entire game and break Slytherin's winning streak.
During normal training, George always mentioned Olga in front of Zero intentionally or unintentionally, trying to test the relationship between the two, but to no avail.
Fred felt incredible when he looked at his brother's state. Was his younger brother falling in love for the first time?
The day before their game, after the two of them finished training exhausted, George was still very insistent on going to their "experimental base". Fred, who could no longer bear it, finally exploded.
"Hey, are you crazy, George? Do you like that little snake so much? Why are you so anxious to develop 'blood sugar'?"
George lowered his head, his hair on his forehead was wet with sweat, and he looked like an abandoned puppy.
After a long silence, he said, "Yes, I like it very much."
After admitting it, he looked back at his inseparable brother.
"It's not that I want to rush. Although Malfoy and Nott are not a threat for the time being, Zero... obviously has a close relationship with Olga."
Fred was speechless. He didn't expect George to be so deeply involved.
"No, why bro, is she that good?"
George lowered his head again. How should he tell his brothers that he had been so excited since Olga first extended her hand to him?
Growing up, Fred was always the one that everyone noticed first.
Even though everyone knew that the Weasleys had twins, and even though they looked exactly the same and even their mother couldn't tell them apart, when people talked about the twins, they were always Fred and George, not George and Fred.
He was not jealous of his brother, and he used to enjoy hiding behind Fred and playing pranks on others.
But ever since his little snake princess could call out his name without a trace of doubt, he found that being "George" felt better.
"She's... she couldn't be nicer. With her, I can be not George in 'Fred and George' but just George."
Fred found it unbelievable. "We have been working hard to make it difficult for others to tell the two of us apart, so as to achieve the effect of our prank. I thought this was our consensus."
"Of course, that's interesting, isn't it?" George seemed to chuckle.
"We are inseparable and enjoy playing tricks on each other. But it is undeniable that you are the more popular one, aren't you? Everyone prefers the cheerful and proactive Fred. Even if they mistake me for Fred, they will mistake me for Fred instead of you for George."
For the first time, Fred, who was eloquent, didn't know how to respond to his brother, but George didn't wait for him to speak.
"You don't have to feel sorry. I don't think it's a big deal. On the contrary, I think it's more conducive to the prank if you don't notice it. It's commonly known as... 'boredom'?"
George smiled again.
"But she reached out her hand to me first, and I didn't want to let go. I just wanted to be George in front of her, the one and only George."
Fred was silent for a while, then suddenly laughed and said, "No wonder you disappeared in the blink of an eye on Halloween Eve."
After that, he patted George on the shoulder and said, "Come on, brother. I will make you the candy before Christmas."
—
On the day of the competition, Harry and Zero were so nervous that they couldn't even eat lunch.
Seeing this, Hermione could only call Olga to the Gryffindor table under the death stares of Draco and Theodore. Olga didn't understand and asked Hermione curiously, "What's wrong with them?"
"Because of the match this afternoon, Wood put too much pressure on them. If they lose the match, it's hard to imagine how miserable the following training will be. To put it simply," Hermione sighed, "either win or die."
Olga raised her eyebrows when she heard this and stated her position first: "Why did you ask me to come over? I'm a Slytherin and there's no way I can help you cheat."
"I know. I just want you to persuade them to eat something. Otherwise, they will definitely run into problems if they don't have enough energy. You don't want them to faint on the field, do you?"
Yes, Olga sat down opposite the two of them. Harry and Zero then realized that Olga had come to the long table of their college and greeted her with a mechanical smile.
It turned out that he was seriously ill.
Olga did not persuade them, but just picked some breakfast and put it in front of them, saying simply: "Eat."
The two of them ate the food in front of them reflexively, and Olga suspected that they had no idea what they were eating.
Hermione and Ron looked at each other and realized that it had to be Olga.
Just when Olga was about to get up and go back to Slytherin, Fred and George suddenly rushed over and squatted in front of Olga, one on the left and one on the right.
"You will come to watch the game later, little snake princess," George asked expectantly.
Olga was stared at by the two people in front of her. She hesitated for a moment, but still refused: "Forget it. There are too many people and it's disgusting."
Hermione interrupted at this time and said, "You can sit with me. I have prepared a little gift for you. I will give it to you when the time comes."
Olga was a little curious about what it was, but she thought it would be inappropriate for her to be mixed in with a group of Gryffindors.
"George and I are Beaters, Harry is Seeker, and Zero is Chaser. Your four friends will all play in the game. Are you really not going to watch?" Fred continued his offensive.
Harry and Zero seemed to finally come to their senses at this time, and looked at Olga expectantly.
"Okay, fine, but don't expect me to cheer you up. This is the bottom line of Slytherin."
"Yeah!" Fred and George clapped their hands happily. "You don't need to cheer, little snake. As long as you show up on the court, we've already won!"
Fred made a face and took Harry and Zero to do their pre-match preparations.
George stood up but remained where he was. He bent slightly and extended his hand to Olga, "If you don't want to cheer, can I give your most loyal knight a little luck bonus, Princess?"
Olga was almost amused by George's behavior. She generously put her little hand into the boy's and said, "You will always be lucky, sir." After that, a white light lit up in the palm of their clasped hands.
George looked at the light in surprise: "What is this?"
"It's your luck. I never speak nonsense." Olga raised her head with some pride.
George looked at his proud princess and raised the corner of her mouth lovingly, then he bent his head devoutly and kissed the back of the princess' hand.
"Thank you princess."
Hermione looked at George's satisfied back as he left and smiled knowingly, "Oh, boys."
—
Draco was quite resentful about Olga going to watch the Quidditch match with that mud...Muggle, and she even wanted to sit in the Gryffindor seat!
"Do you remember that you are a Slytherin?!" Draco was furious.
"So I won't cheer for them." Olga said confidently.
"Then you can't sit with the stupid lions either!"
Olga chose to ignore the young master. What a joke! Don't even think about controlling her.
Draco got even angrier when he didn't get a response. He decided to never! Never! Pay attention to her again! Unless she could coax him.
—
In the yard, Hermione handed Olga a jam jar with a blue flame burning in it.
"I know you won't be cold, but I still hope to make you feel a little warmer." Hermione was a little shy. "If nothing unexpected happens, it shouldn't go out throughout the winter."
Who can resist the kindness of a cute little witch?
Olga liked this thoughtful little gift very much and she thanked Hermione with a smile.
Hermione was once again struck by Olga's smile, and she didn't come to her senses until the two of them arrived at the Quidditch field.
Olga was shocked by the grand spectacle before her. Almost all the teachers and students in the school came to watch the game, and the surrounding stands were packed with people.
Hermione noticed that Ron and Seamus had prepared a huge banner for Harry and Zero. She took Olga's cold hand and the two of them shuttled through the crowd and finally reached the highest point. Before Olga had time to breathe a sigh of relief, Hermione handed her another telescope, and she shook her head to indicate that she didn't need it.
The atmosphere in the stadium reached its peak when players from both sides entered the field.
Satan, is this the passion of wizards? So noisy. Olga shrank back towards Hermione.
As soon as the four Gryffindor players came on the field, they looked around as if they were looking for something.
"Look at the banner!" The sharp-eyed Harry was the first to notice the banner Ron prepared for them, and motioned for everyone to look over there.
"The little snake is there too!" Fred exclaimed and waved conspicuously at Hermione and the others.
George and Zero looked over quickly and saw that Olga looked like she had lost all hope in life.
"Pfft!" The four of them laughed out loud, "She must be regretting it now."
George smiled until his eyes narrowed.
Everyone then realized that a Slytherin had sneaked into the Gryffindor seat, and they all looked at Olga.
Olga simply nodded calmly to everyone and leaned on Hermione's shoulder, hoping that Snape wouldn't be too angry if he found out she was sitting here.
Draco on the opposite side saw this scene through a telescope and was so angry that he almost gritted his teeth. He threw the telescope to Goyle and sat down on his seat, refusing to say anything.
With the whistle of Madam Hooch, the game officially kicked off.
"The Quaffle went to Angelina Johnson from Gryffindor! Oh, she's a really good Chaser, and very pretty, and I've always wanted to go out with her—"
"Jordan!" Professor McGonagall sat next to the commentator Lee Jordan, just to supervise him and prevent him from talking nonsense.
"I'm sorry, Professor. She ran all the way and made a beautiful pass to Zero, who, like our Harry Potter, was only a first-year student, but was good enough to be included in the team as an exception - the ball was passed to Angelina, who ran as fast as she could, dodging the Slytherin players - and the ball went in! Ten points for Gryffindor!"
The cheers from the Gryffindors were so deafening that Olga felt like she was actually going deaf.
Fred and George were also very conspicuous on the field. As a pair of twins who were both hitters, their tacit understanding was something that other teams would find difficult to achieve.
The two of them took advantage of their height and long arms and legs, making them very adept at hitting the Bludger.
Olga discovered that the twins were very popular in Gryffindor. Just now when Fred hit the ball for Harry, the screams of the girls at the scene amazed Olga.
Seeing that Gryffindor was temporarily leading, the Slytherin players began to adopt some tactics. Captain Flint rushed towards Harry first, and Harry was almost knocked off the broom.
So Gryffindor took a free kick at the goal post, which was caught by Zero. The silver-haired boy's wonderful performance on the field obviously won the hearts of many girls. As Zero controlled the ball and passed it to the goal, the cheers for him at the scene became louder and louder.
Olga looked at Zero who was competing in the air and felt relieved. He was at an unrestrained age and should be able to work hard like this.
The Slytherins were a little frustrated. First, Wood was hit by the Bludger, and then Angelina was trapped and fell off her broom.
Olga looked at these violent moves. Was this the Slytherin style of play? She was a little worried about the four people on the field.
The score was tied, but Harry still couldn't find any trace of the Golden Snitch, and could only anxiously watch his teammates get injured one by one.
Suddenly, he saw a flash of golden light in front of him. He quickly controlled the broom to chase it, but at this time, an accident happened.
Harry's broom seemed to be controlled by someone, making him tumble and jump, and even trying to shake him off.
Olga frowned slightly. It was obvious that someone was——
"Look, it's Snape! He's doing bad things." Hermione's voice rang out, and Olga's gaze quickly turned to the professor's seat.
