"Where the hell are you?!" Li Chenyang was furious when he saw Li Xueyue walking into the library. "Do you know how stressed Wenmin is?" he hissed, rushing towards her and starting to check her for any signs of injury.

"The pressure on Wenmin is so great that he would have died early." Li Chenyang gritted his teeth. His shoulders relaxed a little, because apart from her bruised appearance, he did not see any signs of injury on her body. Li Xueyue's hair was disheveled and her clothes were wrinkled, as if she had been dragged through the forest.

"Oh, please." Li Wenmin snorted. "You're the one pacing back and forth. I think the floor must have been dented. If you care about Xiaoyue so much, just say it directly. Don't use me as an excuse."

"You made me angry." Li Chenyang retorted.

"I've had this feeling about you since you came out a few minutes after me," Li Wenmin replied.

"Mom must have thought the same when she gave birth to you." Li Chenyang said angrily.

"Oh, come on, Mom loves me more than you do." Li Wenmin chuckled. "I have always been her favorite because I am most like her and--"

"Xueyue, are you feeling okay?" Li Chenyang asked, ignoring his brother. He turned her head left and right while continuing to check her for injuries, praying that he would not find any wounds on her body.

“I’m fine.” Li Xueyue sighed. “I had a bad headache earlier, but it’s much less now.”

"Headache?!" Li Chenyang repeated. "What? Why? Are you sure it disappeared? Did you get hurt in the head? Oh my God, you already have so few brain cells, you can't lose again!"

Li Xueyue shook her head. "It's okay—" She paused, realizing that he was actually calling her a fool. "Hey! What does that mean?"

"My idiot sister can't be any dumber." Li Chenyang snorted, turned her around, and checked her head for cuts and scrapes. To his relief, there was nothing wrong with her head, except that her hair was like a bird's nest.

"That's so rude." Li Xueyue snorted. "For someone who is only smart from books, you must have a lot to say about my intelligence."

“Smart booking?” Li Chenyang thought. “Coming from an extremely thick girl, this is really rich.”

"If I'm stupid, then I don't want to see what kind of person you are."

Watching them quarreling, Li Wenmin felt like a neglected child. He turned his head left and right, his eyes scanning back and forth during the quarrel. Eventually, the feeling of being excluded and lonely came over him.

Li Chenyang and Li Xueyue looked at each other and said "Humph!" at the same time.

Li Chenyang opened his mouth and was about to answer, but he was stunned when he heard footsteps coming from the corridor. The servants rushed to the front door, which could only mean one thing.

"Mom and Dad are back." Li Chenyang opened the door and saw a servant hurriedly passing by. "Let's go-"

Before he could finish his words, Li Xueyue and Li Wenmin ran out the door. Suddenly, Li Chenyang felt like he was abandoned. His brothers and sisters were running too fast. Looking at his lack of athletic ability with a scowl, he could only walk quickly through the corridor and head straight for the front door.

When Li Chenyang left the house, his mother was almost in the main room. Li Chenyang stood beside the empty corridor, looking at her anxiously.

"Mom, where is Dad?" he asked immediately.

Duchess Wang Qixing frowned slightly, and the corners of her lips drooped. "Some annoying minister dragged him away. I think they need his help because he is the Prime Minister."

Li Chenyang nodded slowly. "Yes, many ministers fully trust my father. They think he is the leader of this political reform."

Li Wenmin raised an eyebrow. Reform? That's a nice way to rephrase "rebellion" or "military overthrow."

Li Wenmin guessed that he had not been there because he had not yet chosen a side. "Were any servants injured?" he asked.

Duchess Wang Qixing glanced at her son with a gentle expression. He was too kind to the world. She patted his cheek gently and smiled. “The public is not involved.”

"But what about the servants and others?" Li Wenmin questioned. "Did any of them get caught up in this mess—"

"Son, I'm tired." Duchess Wang Qixing sighed softly. "It's been a really chaotic day today. Do you mind letting your mother rest for a while before asking so many questions?"

Li Wenmin nodded slowly. He offered her his elbow, which she gratefully accepted. As Li Chenyang leaned on his arm, he made eye contact with her.

Li Xueyue bit her lower lip anxiously, not knowing whether to inform everyone of Li Minghua's arrival. She was hesitant about whether to reveal this information. What if it was another Minghua...? If the person in the Queen's bedroom was not Li Minghua, it would be a coincidence.

"What is it?" Li Chenyang asked, approaching her. "You look like you have a lot to say."

"It's just..." She trailed off as she watched Duchess Wang Qixing begin to walk down the corridor.

Duchess Wang Qixing looked back and found that two more children were missing. "Children, come with me, we will discuss everything in your father's private study."

Li Chenyang nodded. "We'll be there soon." He said as he urged Xueyue to go.

As Li Xueyue trotted to find her mother, her mind began to wander.

What if she told them about Minghua and no one believed her? Wen Jinkai already had doubts. Besides, even if she told them about Minghua, what would happen? How could she find a woman in a palace with hundreds of people?

What if the person in the bedroom is not Li Minghua?

Suddenly, a chilling thought flashed through Li Xueyue's mind. Her blood turned cold and her face turned pale. "What if Li Minghua falsely accuses me of being the murderer?"
