Li Wenmin thought of various ways to scare his brother, but forgot the most crucial detail - Li Chenyang was the deepest sleeper in the family.

"I told you, you can't pull away his blanket!" Seeing that Li Chenyang was still sleeping soundly, Li Xueyue covered her face and groaned.

Li Wenmin slapped his brother in the face, but Li Chenyang didn't move at all.

"Is he dead?" Li Wenmin asked.

"I do not think so."

“What do you think?” Li Wenmin sneered and glanced at her. His eyes widened in horror. He finally noticed what she was wearing.

He grabbed her shoulders and quickly scanned the room. He was relieved when he saw no one else was present. "Oh my god, Xiaoyue, who gave you clothes to wear this morning?! They need a beating!"

"What do you mean?" Li Xueyue asked, shrugging. "I put it on myself." She screamed when he threw the cloak at her.

"Has anyone seen you like this?" Li Wenmin hissed, pulling the straps of her cloak tighter so she could preserve her dignity.

"Well, no one except the guards. What is this? Did I match the colors wrong? I thought yellow and green went well together..."

"Your clothes are on backwards!" Li Wenmin groaned. "You wear your top before your underwear! How could you not know?!"

"This, this layer has ropes. My maid always ties something when she dresses me... I thought this was the last layer." Li Xueyue lowered her head and said nervously. This was too confusing for her.

The top layer she was wearing was a very sheer linen that matched the rest of her clothes. How did she know it was the one she wore before her underwear?! She was always in a daze while the maids dressed her, so she didn't pay attention to her usual attire.

"Well, at least your underwear isn't on top of that." He shuddered at the thought. "Otherwise we might have to dunk every guard in water until they forget they saw you."

"You're so dramatic." Li Xueyue snorted, pulling the cloak closer to herself. "I'll go change my clothes."

"Yes, you should. Now go." Li Wenmin shooed her away. "In the meantime, I will do my best to wake up this sleeping bear."

“Try poking it with a stick.” Li Xueyue chuckled. “Maybe that will work?”

Li Wenmin rolled his eyes and pushed her towards the door. She snorted and just as she walked out of Li Chenyang's room, Li Wenmin behind her spoke.

"Oh, by the way, Xiaoyue?"

"Really, Brother Wen?"

"The yellow and green you're wearing don't match."

"Who cares!" Li Xueyue said, slamming the door and stomping back to her bedroom. So many attempts!

Li Wenmin was amused by her temper. He was glad that she was beginning to express herself more now. When she arrived two years ago, he always regretted her silence.

Turning back to face his sleeping brother, Li Wenmin had an evil thought. "Yeah, why not poke the bear?" He chuckled evilly.

Li Wenmin walked around the room and found a sword in a metal casing. He walked over to his brother and smiled.

"Wake up, wake up, brother!" He stabbed Li Chenyang's abdomen directly with a sword.

"Huh?" Li Wenmin was confused when he encountered a difficult situation. "Never!" He cried loudly and walked towards his brother who was sleeping without a blanket.

"How do you have abdominal muscles if you don't exercise? This is so unfair." Li Wenmin lifted up his brother's coat and shouted when he saw the hard lines.

"Tsk, whatever. I give up!" He yelled, dropped his sword, and rushed out of the room.

Li Xueyue felt that she was walking on a road of shame.

The servants were awake now and bowed to everyone she passed, their faces filled with confusion when they noticed she was wrapped in her cloak.

Li Xueyue felt a little embarrassed when she thought that she would be discovered in her current attire. She quickened her pace and rushed into her room, surprising the maids waiting outside.

"Good morning, young lady," her usual group of maids said in unison, bowing their heads in greeting.

"Good morning," Li Xueyue said as the maids pushed open the door. "Don't say a word about this," she instructed as they closed the door.

The maids were confused until the young lady dropped her cloak and her eyes widened a little. They covered their mouths in shock, while Li Xueyue laughed awkwardly.

"Please put some proper clothing on me."

"Yes, right away, miss!"

"You're wearing riding clothes today," Li Wenmin pointed out as Xueyue walked into the breakfast room.

Li Chenyang yawned, slumped down on the table, and leaned his head on the bed. "What's so strange about this?"

King Li Chenyang looked at his exhausted son and sighed. "Isn't anyone discussing what happened yesterday?"

Li Wenmin scratched the back of his head. "What incident?"

Yesterday, except for Duchess Wang Qixing, everyone else left early in the morning. They returned later than expected. No one told the twins about it. The only reason the Duke knew about it was because he was the owner of the manor and the servants reported it to him.

"The doctors have been called," said Duchess Wang Qixing. "I am surprised."

"No way." Li Chenyang said sternly. "Who let him into our house?"
