Harry Potter: Reunion with the Enemy
Chapter 112 Archives
"Look who's here." Ron shouted to Hermione who was sitting at the desk as soon as he entered the house.
Hermione moved her eyes away from the piles of books and saw a familiar figure behind Ron. "Harry!" Hermione ran over and gave Harry a hug, then kissed Ron, "We haven't seen each other for a long time."
"Yes, today after the Auror meeting ended, he came to the Department of Magical Sports and Sports to find me, so we had a chance to meet." Ron ruffled Harry's hair vigorously. "The news about you in the newspaper is really... every time it makes my mother fuss for a long time after reading it. George Percy and Bill and others secretly ask me about your true situation every day."
"I guess Draco must have a hidden agenda when he said that," Hermione commented, crossing her arms. "The last time you guys went back to Hogwarts you mentioned those tasks."
Ron seemed to have gotten used to Hermione's tolerant attitude towards Draco, as if it was someone else who had punched him hard at school instead of Hermione. "She told me that you two are really together. Although you brought Draco to the Burrow once last time..."
"It's true." Harry walked into the house with Ron's arm around his shoulders. On the wall of Ron and Hermione's home were family photos of their two families - although the proportion of red-haired people was obviously higher, and Hermione's parents' smiles were a little dazed, but this did not affect the happiness in the photos. The other empty spaces on the wall were covered with Quidditch team posters, which were obviously Ron's work.
"As long as you like it - we certainly respect your decision. Although my mother complains, I think she will understand. She eloped with my father back then." Ron muttered softly. "But you look tired now, and what Draco said in the newspaper is still too much."
"I'm still on a mission and not on vacation. When I finish my mission, I will go to the Burrow to say hello to everyone." Harry decided not to hide anything from his two best friends. "Back then, you drove a flying car to pick me up to go to the Burrow, spent Christmas with me, and gave me sweaters every year. You treat me like a family member, so if you have any doubts, it must be for my sake."
"Lucius Malfoy's attitude towards my father has now changed 180 degrees, so we are even more convinced that his family is plotting against you. After all, there is no other reason--" Ron shrugged.
"So how's your mission going?" Hermione asked curiously.
"It was originally just a simple mission to recover magic items, but now it involves collusion between goblins and high-ranking Muggles. Evidence of wizards' persecution of Muggles in history may be exposed. The goblins use this to threaten wizards to hand over the right to use their wands." Harry replied.
"They may also be raising dragons and collaborating with giants to prepare for the next rebellion. After all, goblins have colluded with werewolves in history - you have learned the History of Magic better than me." Harry continued.
"Expose evidence of wizards persecuting Muggles?" Ron's eyes widened. "The Photovoltaic Demon alone probably has a lot of them, but Muggles have also hunted wizards before."
"After the Statute of Secrecy, the Muggle world no longer knows the existence of wizards." Harry nodded, "So I don't know what the consequences will be after it is exposed. I don't think there will be any good results."
"Now it seems that your task is very complicated." Hermione said thoughtfully, "Stop the goblins from exposing the wizarding world? Continue to recycle the previous products? Or get rid of the place where they keep dragons?"
"They also want to take advantage of the Ministry of Magic election to get the Malfoys to help them achieve their goals." Harry seemed to remember something. "It sounds like a pipe dream."
"The Malfoy family." Ron obviously knew that the election for Minister of Magic was imminent and many people had already started to take action. "They are relatively prestigious among the 28 pure-bloods, so maybe they can give it a try. But if they really fight for the rights of goblins, wouldn't they be the scum of wizards... I don't think they themselves want to do that. They feel uncomfortable when they see Muggle-born wizards are better than them, not to mention goblins of a different race."
"So there are indeed some troubles now." Harry looked at his two good friends whose faces became serious, and quickly comforted them, "There will be a way."
"Is this Malfoy kid okay... Although the attitudes of the two of you force me to express my opinion as well." Ron obviously had no confidence in Draco. "I still remember you said before that he was forced to cry alone in the bathroom by Voldemort's mission."
"Why don't we go to the International Wizarding Archives to look up some information," Hermione suggested. "There have been many conflicts between goblins and Muggles, but few wizards have deliberately studied and recorded this information. This way, when goblins attack wizards, they can at least tell Muggles that they are not good people either... And some of the goblin weapons and strongholds should have a long history of construction. We might be able to find something by looking through the information. If we really want to have a conflict with them, we can start with these most important areas."
"You're right." Harry agreed with Hermione's opinion. "The Ministry of Magic should be able to apply for permission to search the archives." Whenever Hogwarts encountered various difficulties, it was always Hermione who took the lead in looking through the documents in the library, so now Harry didn't think of resorting to documentary materials first.
"I can also help you see if there is any available content at Hogwarts." Hermione pulled out a piece of parchment and quickly wrote down a few key points. "I will stay on duty at school next week."
"We will hold a family gathering this weekend to celebrate the release of Hermione's new monograph. Since it is inconvenient for you to come now, we can give you one - two - copies of the cake." Ron gave a thumbs up, "The wisdom of our whole family."

The Daily Prophet Building.
Rita Skeeter hastily signed the approval form and looked up to ask, "Why have you been going to the archives so often lately?"
Ed smiled and placed a new stack of journal contents on her desk. "How can you be a reporter without curiosity, right?"
