Harry Potter: Reunion with the Enemy
Chapter 111 Wake-up call service
"Be careful not to stain the parchment, and eat slowly." Draco placed a glass of milk next to Harry, who was writing furiously, and watched him devote himself to the huge project of completing the Auror project report.
On this sunny morning, Harry was writing furiously while munching on a chicken and vegetable salad for breakfast. "I can't wait - I have to submit it in two hours, and I have to go back to the Ministry for a meeting, and I'm really sleepy now. When I got up, I felt like I was cast under a permanent sticking spell - stuck to the bed, and I couldn't get up at all."
Just as a person would race against time to finish a paper when he was a student, he would also race against time to finish a work report when he was working. The difference is that these Auror mission reports that need to be permanently archived cannot be made up like homework.
Draco rarely refrained from making a few teasing remarks, because he saw that Harry's eyelids were about to stick together, and the reason why he didn't have time to write the Auror report this time was understandable. Staying up too late will make you lose your sleepiness, and then evolve into a spirit like a nocturnal animal, and then the next day you will be back to your original state and be too sleepy to open your eyes. Last night, the two of them first sent Andre, who had taken two doses of potion, back to the place where he came from, announced to everyone that he was drunk and in a deep sleep, and then searched dozens of rooms in the huge old building to find the target, and then said goodbye to Alex, and then went to the Ministry of Magic to return the artifact. When they returned home, they had seen the sunrise.
"Your colleagues think you're on vacation. When they see you looking so depressed, they might wonder where you're on vacation to look so pale." Draco saw that Harry's handwriting was as shaky as he was, sticking uncomfortably to the parchment. "This is going to go into the Ministry of Magic archives."
"The timing of the banquet is so unfortunate. It happens to be the day before the Auror meeting." Harry yawned, "Otherwise I would have plenty of time to write this report. I would have finished the other reports long ago."
"How do you write Andre's confession? You can't just say he used the potion." Draco thought of this detail. "Let me think - just skip the process?"
"He was - impressed - by - Draco Malfoy's - personal charm and revealed - the following information." Harry used his quill to poke a deep colon.
"..." Draco sighed, "If you say so, then so be it. Anyway, the report on this project was read by Kingsley himself. With the help of the truth serum, what he said is true... But this description looks very strange."
"The corny words I heard were even stranger. Ah—" Harry's head dropped deeply, and his hand uncontrollably drew a long horizontal line on the parchment. "I can't take it anymore. I feel dizzy."
"Wake up." Draco pushed Harry.
"No." Harry simply buried his head in his arms.
"Hey." Draco put his fork on his plate and crossed his arms. "I need to tell you something."
"What?" Harry closed his eyes tightly and refused to open them.
Draco flicked the now empty glass with his fingernail. "I put a love potion in your milk."
"What!" Harry looked up suddenly, his eyes wide with horror, "But I'm going to a meeting at the Ministry soon - you can't do this!"
"You've finished it all, I poured the rest of the potion in." Draco admired Harry's careful inspection of whether he had lost control. "This bottle of potion has been there for a long time. You know, Slughorn said that the longer the love potion is left, the stronger it is. You don't weigh very much."
"No—" Harry pointed a finger at Draco, "Give me the antidote."
"No." Draco leaned back comfortably in his chair. "Thrown it away."
"You're cheating!" A hint of blood turned to Harry's face.
"I'm a naughty kid every day." Draco's lips curled up into a smile, "Are you sure you want to talk to me like this? If I disappear now, you'll be worried all the way to the Ministry of Magic. If you praise my hair like sunshine satin or something in front of your colleagues - I don't mind - you can review the love words you heard last night."
Harry seemed to have imagined these scenes in his mind, and an overwhelmed expression appeared on his face. He felt Draco's fingers lift up his pajamas and stroke his skin restlessly. A blush appeared at the base of Harry's ears.
"I'll help you solve this now so that your trip to the Ministry of Magic won't be so difficult." Draco whispered in Harry's ear, "Do you want to go back upstairs, to the bathroom, or just stay here?"
"That's too much." Harry gritted his teeth. He turned his head and met Draco's smiling eyes. He was tempted for a moment. Thanks to Ron, Harry avoided Romilda Vane's chocolate cauldron. He didn't know what it felt like to be controlled by the potion.
"Or-or let's just stay this way..." Harry adjusted his breathing and gave up struggling.
"As you say." Draco reached out and moved the plate on the table to the side. "Lie down."
Harry felt Draco's hand on his shoulder. "I should have written your behavior into the report and asked the Ministry to arrest you."
"Half of the potions were put there by you and the kids - wake up. You've corrupted the future stars of our Hogwarts." Draco retorted slowly, but his movements were very skillful.
Harry's hands and feet, which were originally uncontrollable due to sleepiness, turned into another kind of uncontrollableness.
Physiological tears quickly make the lenses blurry.
"Your elbow is red. I told you this isn't a good place to be." Draco reached out and grabbed Harry's elbow. He rested his chin on Harry's back. "I said - are you awake now?"
"Hmm-hmm?" Harry answered vaguely, trying to control his trembling body.
Draco grabbed Harry's chin and turned his cheek towards him, then reached out and took off his round-frame glasses. "I'm increasingly finding that it's not entirely unreasonable for Rita Skeeter to write about your tearful eyes." He stuck out his tongue and licked Harry's tears.
Harry stepped aside, dabbed his face with the back of his hand, and turned his head away, ignoring him.
"I didn't put any drugs in there, but you actually believed it." Draco said as he looked at Harry with red cheeks, "Why would a real couple use love potions? This can be considered a wake-up call."
"..." Harry was stunned for a few seconds.
Draco felt a hard slap on his back.
"Your Auror colleagues are not all as gullible as you -" Draco dodged left and right and began a chase in the apartment, "You look sober and agile now, like a ferocious little lion. The only flaw is when can you praise me."
"Shut up!" Harry grabbed the corner of his clothes.
"If I really run for Minister of Magic, wouldn't the Auror team be fooled by me——"
"Shut up!"
"Go take a shower now and finish the rest of the report before going to the meeting. You'll have just enough time." Draco said quickly. "Come back and catch up on some sleep. You look great now, and that's what a vacation looks like."
