My Rebirth and the Strange Adventure of Black Zhen

Chapter 375: The Medieval Singularity Opens Again (Continued)

Brann is primarily involved in an Alliance quest chain in the Frost Dwarf city of Frosthold in the Storm Peaks. The first quest is given by Archaeologist Andorin, who is following in Brann's footsteps. After a series of quests, Brann is finally reunited with his brother Muradin.

Brann also appears in the Stone Halls of Ulduar, the Titan city in Storm Peaks. He is involved in the escort quest to the Ancient Tribunal. Brann has no clear affiliation in Ulduar, and can be interacted with by both Alliance and Horde players.

Players who have completed the achievement Explore Northrend will receive a congratulatory email from Brann Bronzebeard.

Brian appears in the trailer for Secrets of Ulduar, and his figure is particularly tall and straight. He leads a well-equipped and highly motivated elite force, as well as various advanced siege weapons, and marches towards Ulduar with great momentum. The purpose of their trip is clear - to uncover the mystery hidden in this ancient fortress.

However, fate always seems to like to play tricks on people. When Brian and his team finally arrived at Ulduar after overcoming numerous obstacles, they encountered a terrible disaster. Kologarn, the powerful and mysterious guardian, used his unparalleled power to beat Brian's army to pieces. In this tragic battle, Brian became the only survivor of the entire expedition.

Despite such a tragic failure, Brann did not give up. He dragged his tired body and finally arrived at Dalaran after untold hardships, and reported everything that happened in Ulduar to Rhonin and Jaina Proudmoore in detail. During the narration, Brann's tone was extremely heavy, and he kept emphasizing the evil "existence" he felt in Ulduar. That's right, the guy he called "prisoner" was the released Yogg-Saron!

When talking about this ancient god, Brian's eyes were filled with fear and worry. He said in a trembling voice: "Prisoner? Haha, its shackles have been broken, and its influence is beginning to get out of control. It will definitely come to find us, and then 'we' will become its captives!" His words seemed to foreshadow an impending huge crisis, which made people shudder.

Brann leads the second assault on Ulduar with the aid of the player and the Kirin Tor. He communicates with the player over the intercom as they advance towards the Flame Leviathan. After defeating the Flame Leviathan, he appears in the Archives deep within Ulduar. He worked with Rhonin to decipher the code Alpha at the Nightfall Square in Dalaran, after defeating Algalon the Observer and retrieving it from him.

Gaster Gallywix's father, Ruzik, was a tinker who lived on Copper Street in the drudge town of Kezan, and his mother made a living as a sea raider. Gallywix's father would regularly test his inventions at home - most of which were made with explosives (a perfect match for goblins) - and could at any time cause fatal harm to himself and his son.

On his tenth birthday, Gallywix had enough of his father's antics and planned to run away from home to become a pirate. However, he witnessed a group of street thugs robbing his father, stole a cookie his father had given him (from a bakery destroyed in the trade war; this dessert was very rare), and decided to take control of his street, thus beginning his rise to power in Kezan. He first tied explosives to the ransom money he gave to the thugs, blowing up the entire gang, and then took over the entire street business, including his father's repair shop.

Over the years, Gallywix has grown into a respected and feared figure, the leader of the Copperstreet Group, an advisor to the Tinkers Union, a key figure in the Trade Union, and the second richest goblin in the Bilgewater Cartel, second only to Trade Prince Mardi.

However, as time went on, some began to question Mardi's leadership, believing him to be weak, especially when he over-indulged his daughter Mardi and allowed her to fall in love with Gallywix. These included the Bilgewater Cartel's high-ranking officials and the Tinker Union's chairman, Tek'zik Riddlevox.

With the support of these people, Gallywix carefully planned a coup to overthrow the upper echelons of the Bilgewater Cartel. He cleverly used his wealth and power to bribe some of Mardi's men and make them loyal to him. At the same time, he also replaced the security personnel with his trusted mercenaries to ensure that his plan could be implemented smoothly.

Eventually, Gallywix succeeded in seizing power and became the new leader of the Bilgewater Cartel. He seized the territory of Mardi House and transformed it into his own luxurious estate. This series of actions made his position more secure and silenced those who once doubted him. Now, Gallywix stands at the pinnacle of power, controlling huge wealth and influence, and continues to write his glorious life chapter.

Although Mardi attempted to buy back her property by selling weapons to the Alliance, Gallywix destroyed Mardi's trade fleet, putting an end to his plans. Now in full control, Gallywix exiled Mardi and his daughter from Kezan, and later staged the fake death of his father-in-law. He eventually fired his assistant, Sissi Steeltek, who hired a killer to shoot him in the pool while he was swimming.

Darion was nearly born dead. Alexandros rushed the baby to a nearby river, where Darion Mograine was born in the cold water. However, the father's joy soon turned to sorrow, as his wife and the children's mother, Irena, died due to complications during the birth.

During a battle in the Scourge city of Stratholme, young Darion was seriously injured and unconscious for a whole day. After he awoke, he said that he felt surrounded by darkness until a ray of light guided him back to the world of the living.

After his father's death, Darion's faith in the Light began to waver, but he met the troll priest Zabra Hex. After the troll persuaded him to find his father in a fortress floating above the Burning City, Darion joined the newly formed Silver Dawn.

With the help of a small group of Argent Dawn volunteers and a mysterious mage named Castilian, Darion infiltrated Naxxramas. After defeating the leader of the necropolis and losing his entire squad to the Four Horsemen, Darion obtained the Corrupted Ashbringer. Whispering swords led him to the Scarlet Monastery, where Darion, unaware of his brother Renault Mograine's betrayal, was attacked by Renault, who believed that he was his last link to his past life and that Darion's arrival was to torture him. The spirit of Alexandros Mograine emerged from the Ashbringer and beheaded his son for betraying him, then forgave him.

Darion was filled with shock and grief when he realized that his father's spirit was trapped within the Ashbringer. He decided to take action, stealing a horse from the Scarlet Crusade and quickly fleeing the scene.

While on the run, Darion fell into a dream in which he saw the ghost of Fairbanks, who revealed an important message to him: to save his father's soul, he must find Tirion Fordring.

Darion followed the advice of the mysterious ghost and finally found Tirion after many hardships. However, the two had a fierce quarrel after meeting. Darion emotionally told Tirion about his father's experience, but Tirion seemed unwilling to believe what he said easily.

After a dispute, Darion gradually calmed down and began to be honest with Tirion. In the end, Tirion also opened his heart and told Darion the reason for his exile and his inner helplessness.

As Darion was about to ride away, Tirion stopped him. Tirion told Darion that only one power could save his father's soul, and that was love that transcended evil. Darion nodded thoughtfully.

Before leaving, Darion sincerely invited Tirion to join the Silver Dawn, but was rejected by Tirion. However, Darion did not force him, but left Tirion the right to choose freely, and told him: "You can still be a hero." After that, Darion got on his horse and embarked on the journey to save his father's soul with hope and determination.

After his meeting with Tirion, Darion traveled to Light's Hope Chapel, where he encountered a Scourge force preparing to attack. Maxwell Tyrosus, who was pleased with Darion's return, told him that beneath the chapel lay the remains of a thousand souls who had died in the battle against Arthas Menethil and the Scourge. Darion joined the Argent Dawn's defenses to protect the dead. That night, Darion had a horrific vision of the world being conquered by the Scourge and the Light gone. The next morning, the battle horn was sounded, and the First Battle of Light's Hope began.

As the tide of battle began to turn against the Argent Dawn, Tirion rode into the fray on Mirador, saving a woman from an abomination. When it seemed that the Light-blessed warriors of the Argent Dawn were on the verge of victory, Kel'Thuzad himself joined the fray. Upon learning of the Lich King's lieutenant's presence, Darion charged forward, wielding the Corrupted Ashbringer as his father had done so long ago, and fought his way to Kel'Thuzad. The lich showed no fear, and said that even the Ashbringer was not powerful enough to stop him.

At that moment, Darion understood what Tirion had meant. To express his love for his father and the cause they believed in, Darion thrust the Ashbringer into his heart, silently saying "I love you, Dad." In response to this noble sacrifice, the vengeful rage of a thousand heroes turned into a reckoning of the Light, completely purging all the undead Scourge around the chapel. Only Kel'Thuzad and the now undead Darion Mograine remained in the Light, with the corrupted Ashbringer still stuck in his chest.

Victorious, Kel'Thuzad boasted that he was willing to sacrifice his own power to control the last of Mograine's spirits. In an eerily similar scene, he asked Darion, "Who do you love?" The new Death Knight, now lifeless and serving the forces he had sworn to destroy, ripped the corrupted Ashbringer from his chest, the blade slicing through flesh with a sickening sound, and replied, "No one."

Darion was then appointed High Lord of the Death Knights of Acherus, whose goal was to destroy all remaining life in the Eastern Plaguelands. At the same time, he planned and formulated strategic operations in the Eastern Kingdoms and Northrend, as well as the upcoming assault on Kalimdor. All newly created death knights were placed under his command, and Darion ordered them to seize the entire Eastern Plaguelands from Ebon Hold in the name of the Lich King.

Eliminating the Scarlet Crusade commander, the Death Knights of Acherus began preparations for the final assault on Light's Hope Chapel. Darion assembled his most powerful and valuable death knights and launched a second assault on Light's Hope. But during the battle Darion discovered that the Ashbringer refused to kill any of his enemies, and refused to obey his orders. One of his three lieutenants escaped, and Darion was forced to face the vast divine power on the holy ground of Light's Hope Chapel. After Tirion arrived, Darion admitted defeat to the combined forces of the Silver Hand and the Argent Dawn.

At this moment, his father's spirit briefly appeared before him, but was soon sealed into Frostmourne by the Lich King who appeared. After the Lich King revealed that he had sent these death knights to their doom in order to lure out Tirion Fordring, Darion attempted to attack his master, but was knocked away. As the Lich King prepared to end the paladin's life, Darion threw the corrupted Ashbringer at Tirion, cleansing him. Tirion used the redeemed sword and the power of the sanctuary to fight off the Lich King.

In response to the Lich King's betrayal, Darion led all the freed death knights to form the Knights of the Ebon Blade, and cleared out all the troops loyal to the Lich King in the Ebon Blade Fortress, turning it into a neutral refuge that all death knights called "home".

He is first seen at the Silver Front base in Icecrown, discussing tactics with Tirion Fordring, and after completing the quest: The Last Line of Defense, he is seen in Echo Valley near Light's Hold. During these events, he is disguised as the Ebon Watcher.

Darion appears again in the quest "The Solidified Air", this time without disguise, and is summoned by the player to fight against the Insect King Talonox in Scourge City. He then appears in the quest "Tirion's Trial" in the Dark Cathedral, along with Thassarian, Koltira Deathweaver, and a group of Ebon Knights.
