My Rebirth and the Strange Adventure of Black Zhen

Chapter 376: The Medieval Singularity Opens Again (End)

Alonsus and the other leaders of Lordaeron traveled to the capital to attend the meeting, and they listened attentively to the proposals made by Anduin Lothar. Anduin Lothar had been deeply troubled by the loss of Northshire Abbey and the large number of priests lost in the battle. However, with the help of his favorite student Uther the Lightbringer - Uther was still a bishop when the two first met - Faol successfully founded the Knights of the Silver Hand and provided powerful weapons and equipment for those who followed the Holy Light.

In the Alonsus Church in Stratholme, Alonsus personally held an anointing ceremony for Uther, officially conferring him the title of the first Paladin. Ayla Bronzebeard is the daughter of King Magni Bronzebeard of the Kingdom of Ironforge. Although Magni took good care of his beloved daughter, he always hoped to have a son to inherit the throne in his heart, and was somewhat disappointed that Moira failed to become his ideal male heir.

The laws of succession in Ironforge clearly state that if there are no other brothers, then Moira will be the legitimate heir to the throne. However, although Magni never expressed it publicly, he always believed in his heart that a woman could not lead the kingdom as effectively as a man. He only confided this to a few people, such as his trusted advisor Belgram, High Priest Rohan, and Ailin.

Unfortunately, fate played a cruel joke on Moira. During a trip to Laketown, she was kidnapped by the Dark Iron Dwarves and taken to Darkforge City, where she appeared before Emperor Dagran Thaurissan. Surprisingly, Thaurissan did not treat her as a prisoner, but instead gave her an unprecedented respect - listening to her carefully and believing that her ability was no less than any man's. In this special environment, Moira gradually fell in love with the emperor and willingly committed herself to him.

However, Kalan Heavyhammer, the only guard who survived the kidnapping, was confused and angry about what happened. He firmly believed that the princess must have been deceived, so he did not hesitate to report everything to the adventurers who came to rescue her. After hearing about this, these adventurers could not help but feel doubtful and worried... They decided to investigate the truth in depth to ensure Moira's safety and happiness.

King Magni, who was extremely uneasy when he learned that Moira was in the family of his mortal enemy, resolutely sent an elite team to carry out a secret mission - to assassinate Emperor Thaurissan and bring his deluded daughter Moira back to Ironforge. However, the development of things was beyond everyone's expectations.

When the team arrived at their destination, they found that Moira was no longer the innocent and kind girl she used to be. Facing the emissary from her hometown, Moira refused the request to return home without hesitation and announced that she was pregnant. This news hit everyone's heart like a bolt from the blue. At the same time, the tragic death of her husband also ignited a raging fire of revenge in her heart.

Since then, many years have passed, and there has been no news of Moira. She has lost contact with her father, but Magni still firmly believes that she must have been bewitched by evil magic after her capture, and married a Dark Iron dwarf against her will. Although the rift between father and daughter is irreparable, Magni still holds on to a glimmer of hope that one day Moira will return to Ironforge.

After the incident, Ailin and other outstanding women were promoted to become Magni's elite guards. Ailin knew that this might be Magni's small confession for the unfair treatment he had given Moira. She silently accepted this new mission and was determined to use her own strength to protect this stubborn but fatherly king.

After King Magni was turned into stone by mysterious forces, Princess Moira returned to Ironforge with her son Dagran Thaurissan II, claiming that she had the right to inherit the throne. This woman who returned from the Dark Iron Clan began to rule this ancient city with tough means.

She ordered the blockade of all griffins, the closure of the mine tunnels, and even took Prince Anduin Wrynn, the Stormwind ambassador who selflessly helped the dwarves in difficult times, as a hostage. At a dinner party, Anduin accidentally heard about Moira's past from Ailin. So, he cleverly arranged to successfully separate Moira from her guards for a short time, trying to provoke her true reaction and gain insight into her true intentions.

In response to Anduin's questioning, Moira said frankly that she had never been deceived by her husband. She loved him deeply simply because he gave her the respect she deserved, which was something her father, who only wanted his son and believed that women had no place to play, could not give her.

Although Anduin agreed that she had been treated unfairly, he was keenly aware that Moira did not turn this injustice into motivation to move forward, but instead allowed her dissatisfaction with Magni to gradually consume her. After Anduin fled to Theramore, King Varian Wrynn learned from him that Moira and the Dark Iron Clan jointly controlled Ironforge and held her hostage. Furious, Varian immediately led 18 MI7 agents and resolutely embarked on the difficult journey of saving Ironforge and assassinating Moira.

Just when Varian was about to execute Moira, Anduin, who hurried back to Ironforge, tried his best to persuade his father to change his mind. He knew that if Moira died, it would bring serious consequences. Anduin firmly believed that although Moira was once a tyrant who held the power of the entire city, she was still the legitimate heir to the throne. If she was executed rashly, it would not only cause greater chaos and conflict in the succession to the throne of Ironforge, but also may trigger a bloody and brutal civil war, involving other Alliance forces. In this way, the entire continent of Azeroth will be plunged into endless war.

Only by letting Moira survive can she realize her mistakes and become a better leader. Moreover, Moira's son Magni is also a very outstanding young man. If mother and son can work together, they will surely be able to reunite the dwarf clan and fight against future challenges together.

Varian was eventually persuaded by Anduin, but he still had doubts about Moira. He knew that Moira had brought too much chaos to Ironforge, and he was also worried that she would pose a threat to his son. However, under the current circumstances, keeping Moira was indeed the best choice. So Varian decided to temporarily put aside personal grudges and give Moira a chance to reform. He hoped that she could truly recognize her mistakes and prove with her actions that she deserved the trust and support of the dwarven people.

He agreed to spare Moira's life, and said that if Moira wanted to be the leader of the dwarves, she must earn her own throne by gaining their respect. In order to fully reflect the opinions of all dwarves, Varian actively promoted the formation of the Council of Three Hammers, which included Moira's uncle Muradin and the Wildhammer Lord Falstad Wildhammer. Moira tried every means to integrate the Dark Iron clan into the Kingdom of Ironforge. To this end, she planned to reforge the High King's hammer - even if it was just a fake fragment - as a symbol of the unity of the dwarven clans. Kurdran Wildhammer was a little skeptical about this move, but after several days of persuasion, he finally let the three fragments come together and prepared to start forging. The next day, while Moira was walking with Drukan, they ran into Kurdran and Skare.

Drukan was filled with fear when he saw the griffin, and his body trembled uncontrollably, and he even made some inappropriate movements. However, Moira used her wisdom and persuasiveness to successfully persuade her advisor to realize his mistake and apologize to Kurdran.

Moira then expressed her gratitude to Kurdran for handing over the last fragment, and then turned away. When Skarre died, Kurdran, shocked, quickly took the fragment belonging to the Wildhammer clan. Seeing this, Moira and Kurdran had a heated argument.

Kurdran gradually realized that Moira was deliberately guiding the Wildhammer clan to divert their attention, so as to prevent the Bronzebeard dwarves from continuing to remain indifferent and alienated from the Dark Iron dwarves. At the grand ceremony of the reforging of the Hammer of the High King, Kurdran smashed the fragments of the Wildhammer clan without hesitation, and declared that the unity among the dwarves must not rely on an artifact that might break one day. They should start from scratch and write a new, pure and flawless history. Muradin deeply agreed with this view, and Moira, who was slightly inferior in political strategy, had to compromise and also smashed the fragments of the Dark Iron clan.

Despite Moira's position as the Dark Iron Queen Regent, some of the Dark Irons remain disloyal to her and her children. After a failed attack on Ironforge Airport by Dark Irons loyal to the Twilight's Hammer, Stonebreaker, who led the operation, sent an adventurer to the Council to report the incident. Moira initially did not believe that the Dark Irons would attack Ironforge until Muradin personally came to guarantee Stonebreaker's loyalty. However, when Muradin and Falstad stated that they had lost control of their own people, she finally decided to arrest the mastermind behind the attack - the Twilight's Hammer Ambassador - for treason.

One day, King Varian's scouts noticed that the Zandalari trolls were gathering the Frostmane trolls to threaten the dwarven capital. The king thought that if he could help the dwarves resolve the crisis brought by the trolls, they would definitely send more troops to support him in the war with the tribe.

However, what the king had not anticipated was the lack of trust between the dwarves. When Varian sought aid from the Council of Three Hammers, Muradin and Falstad rejected his request without hesitation. They feared that if they left Ironforge, the Dark Irons would take advantage of the opportunity and take Ironforge. Distraught, Varian argued that if everyone chose to sit back and do nothing, Ironforge would be in danger of being besieged. Only Moira Thaurissan offered to lend a hand, declaring that the Dark Irons would prove their loyalty to the Council, Ironforge, and the Alliance by defending Ironforge.

Moira then set out on a journey across the icy wilderness with the High King, leaving the others behind to reflect on their actions. When they arrived at Shimmer Ridge, they were surprised to find that the enemy had summoned a strange and powerful supernatural storm that blocked their way. Faced with this dilemma, Varian begged Moira to lead the guard to attack the enemy troll village after his warriors successfully stopped the storm.

After a fierce battle, the king's warriors successfully rescued the surviving climbers and eliminated the supernatural storm elementals that were summoned by the trolls' blood sacrifice. Then, they successfully met up with Moira's forge guards. With everyone's concerted efforts, the Zandalari troll leader finally fell in a pool of blood, and Frostmane Village was successfully captured.

After the battle, Varian celebrated the hard-won victory with Moira and the Dark Iron clan. Varian excitedly declared that the Bronzebeard clan and the Wildhammer clan must regret that they were not able to share the glory of the victory. However, Moira humbly stated that what she did was only to protect her own people, and she did not want to humiliate other clans. Varian knew that Moira had done this.

So, the two decided to return to Ironforge and convey the good news of victory to the Council. On the way back, the other dwarf leaders were ashamed of their past actions and vowed never to let fear or suspicion affect their judgment in the future. Now, they finally opened their hearts, and the three leaders solemnly swore to do their best to be loyal to the Alliance.

Moira and Varian returned to Ironforge with the joy of victory, and they were warmly welcomed. The members of the Council of Three Hammers held a celebration banquet for them to celebrate this great victory.

At the feast, Moira gave a speech in which she thanked all those who had participated in the battle and emphasized the importance of unity among the dwarves. Her speech deeply touched everyone present, and everyone expressed their desire to unite more closely.

As time went by, Ironforge became more and more prosperous. Moira's leadership skills were recognized by everyone, and she became a respected queen. With her efforts, the relationship between the Dark Iron Clan and other clans was greatly improved, and the dwarf race ushered in a new era.
