My Rebirth and the Strange Adventure of Black Zhen

Chapter 357: Crisis at Bathory Castle (Part )

Gaster Gallywix's father, Ruzik, once lived in the shabby, dusty copperplate streets of the drudge town of Kezan. He was an unknown but skilled tinkerer who spent his days repairing all kinds of broken items.

However, at the same time, Gallywix's mother was a brave and courageous person. She made a living by plundering at sea, traveling across the rough seas in pursuit of wealth and adventure.

Ruzik often conducts dangerous and bizarre experiments at home, trying to create more powerful inventions. Most of these inventions are related to explosives - after all, for goblins, explosives are simply their favorite! And young Gallywix became the guinea pig for his father's thrilling experiments.

Every experiment was full of uncertainty and potential fatal risks. Sometimes, the whole house would be shaken to the point of collapse; sometimes, sparks flew and smoke filled the air, making it hard to breathe. Despite this, Ruzik firmly believed in his invention and believed that it would change the fate of their family.

Finally, on his tenth birthday, Gallywix could no longer tolerate his father's crazy and reckless behavior. He decided to leave home and pursue his own path - to become a majestic pirate!

So, that morning, when the first ray of sunlight shone on Copper Street, Gallywix, carrying a simple bag, resolutely embarked on an unknown journey. He had a desire for freedom and adventure in his heart, and was determined to take an unusual path in life.

However, not long after this happened, an unexpected scene occurred: he actually saw with his own eyes a group of hateful street thugs robbing his beloved father! What's more, these lawless guys also stole the precious biscuit that his father gave him!

You know, this cookie has a history! It was made by a bakery that was destroyed in the fierce trade war, and this unique and delicious dessert has become extremely rare and priceless.

Faced with such a great humiliation, the young man was furious and determined to take control of the street he was on. Thus, a thrilling journey of revenge and rise began...

At first, he cleverly hid high explosives in the ransom he paid to the gang. With a loud bang, the entire gang was instantly blown to ashes and flew into the sky! Then, he took over all the businesses on the entire street, including the repair shop that his father had been running.

Time flies. After years of hard work and unremitting efforts, the weak young man has transformed himself into a leader of the Copper Street Group, a senior advisor to the Tinkers Union, and a core member of the Trade Union. Today, Gallywix is famous and his wealth is increasing day by day. He has finally become the runner-up of the Bilgewater Cartel - only behind the famous Trade King Mardi.

With the help of the Bilgewater Cartel's high-ranking officials and the Tinker Union's chairman Tek'zik Riddlevox, who thought Mardi had become weak, Gallywix carefully planned and successfully launched a thrilling coup, overthrowing the original high-ranking rulers of the Bilgewater Cartel in one fell swoop. During this period, Gallywix cleverly used various means to not only buy the hearts and minds of Mardi's men and make them loyal to him, but also secretly replaced all the security personnel with his trusted mercenaries.

What is even more shocking is that Gallywix unceremoniously occupied the mansion and its territory that originally belonged to Mardi (many years later, this place naturally became his personal luxurious manor). Faced with such a predicament, Mardi did not sit idly by, but tried every means to obtain funds by selling weapons to the Alliance in order to regain the lost property. However, the cunning Gallywix saw through Mardi's plan and decisively destroyed his trade fleet, completely destroying Mardi's thoughts.

Now in power, Gallywix is unstoppable. He ruthlessly expelled Mardy and his beloved daughter from Kezan, and then carefully planned an "accident" that killed his former father-in-law. His assistant, Sissy Steeltek, who tried to murder him, was ruthlessly fired and severely punished. It turned out that Sissy had hired a killer to shoot Gallywix in the pool while he was swimming, but the plot ultimately failed.

Gallywix and his current Chief of Law Enforcement, Druz, have been good friends since childhood. [2] Gallywix experienced many ups and downs while growing up, the most shocking of which was that his own mother tried to kill him more than once! This horrific fact makes one feel sympathetic to Gallywix's childhood. The Trade Prince is said to own a painting titled "Lisa the Goblin", which depicts his mother.

Although he is now middle-aged and slightly overweight, Gallywix was a strong and agile street fighter in his youth. He once used his strength to fight a world in the underworld.

Meanwhile, the dreadlords Mal'Ganis and Tichondrius committed horrific crimes in Lordaeron and Felwood, respectively. They spread the Burning Legion's pollution and corruption everywhere, bringing endless disasters to these two regions. However, good will eventually triumph over evil, and when they were finally defeated by the Scourge's enemies, Varimathras and his two brothers, Detheroc and Balnazzar, successfully took over Lordaeron's undead army. Under their command, this already huge army became even more powerful.

At the same time, their leader Archimonde led his army across the sea and headed towards Kalimdor. They had only one goal: to draw the power of Nordrassil, the world tree on Mount Hyjal. This thrilling adventure is about to begin, and the entire continent of Azeroth will be plunged into an unprecedented crisis.

In the months after Archimonde quietly left and eventually died in the Battle of Mount Hyjal, the three dreadlords who were responsible for guarding Lordaeron and shouldering heavy responsibilities were completely unaware of this! They still stick to their posts and meticulously carry out the tasks assigned by their superiors - closely monitoring every move of the Kingdom of Lordaeron.

However, the good times did not last long. Just as the three guys began to feel doubtful and secretly wondered whether there was a flaw in the Burning Legion's grand plan, an astonishing news came: King Arthas single-handedly broke into the main city and announced in public that the Burning Legion had collapsed and Archimonde had already died on the battlefield!

Hearing this, the dreadlords were horrified, but soon came to their senses - the biggest threat before them did not come from the destroyed Burning Legion, but from King Arthas, who had ill intentions and was bent on regaining the throne and seeking revenge on them, so he wiped out the Burning Legion!

So, Varimathras made a prompt decision and fled with two other brothers, running all the way to the plague area before stopping. Still in shock, they hid in a secret shelter in the area, thinking about what to do next.

Varimathras knew very well that it was a pipe dream to defeat the army under the Lich King with their current strength, not to mention the powerful help from the lich Kel'Thuzad and the dark ranger Sylvanas. In this case, he had to find another way and decided to take a risk, secretly looking for Sylvanas for help, and confided a shocking secret to her: it turned out that the power of Arthas and the Lich King was gradually weakening.

Sylvanas was overjoyed after hearing the news. She had always dreamed of taking revenge on Arthas, the one who turned her into a hateful undead creature. Now that the opportunity was right in front of her, how could she not be excited? At this moment, Sylvanas was completely immersed in the great joy of being able to personally implement the revenge plan and could not extricate herself.

After the dreadlords successfully separated Arthas and his army, Sylvanas seized the opportunity and immediately prepared to assassinate Arthas. Unfortunately, things did not go as planned. Kel'Thuzad suddenly intervened at the critical moment, ruining her plan and allowing Arthas to escape by chance. Seeing that the cooked duck flew away, Sylvanas was so angry that she gritted her teeth, but she could do nothing. In the end, she could only shift her attention to the capital of Lordaeron, hoping to find a breakthrough from other places. After Arthas fled to Northrend, he no longer posed any substantial threat, so the contradictions and conflicts naturally shifted to the army led by the dreadlords and the forces led by Sylvanas. Both sides are doing their best to fight for control of Lordaeron and are eager to gain ultimate freedom.

As the Lich King's control over the Scourge gradually weakened, more and more undead began to awaken and gain independent consciousness, and they all chose to be loyal to Sylvanas. After Arthas left, Varimathras visited Sylvanas again and offered her an olive branch, expressing his willingness to give her a chance to serve in the army of the dreadlord and the new world order he had built. However, Sylvanas had already made up her mind not to give up her hard-earned freedom easily, and decisively rejected the other party's proposal.

This action made Varimathras regard Sylvanas as a mortal enemy of the Burning Legion, and he warned her not to hinder their rule over the Plaguelands. Sylvanas knew that if she and her people hoped to live in peace and tranquility, they would have to eliminate these hateful dreadlords. To this end, she ordered her banshees to explore the heart of the forest and find the most powerful dwellers to further strengthen her army. Then she fought Varimathras's forces and the enemy was unable to fight back. Sylvanas destroyed his forces and prepared to execute the dreadlords, but Varimathras begged for his life. In exchange for his life, he swore fealty to the Banshee Queen and provided the weaknesses and bases of his brothers. Sylvanas then accepted his fealty out of a twisted "mercy" and promised to spare his life.

After careful consideration, Sylvanas decided to send her newly recruited men to explore the hiding place of Detheroc, the evil guy who enslaved a large number of human soldiers and made them willingly work for him. The last remaining leader of the Lordaeron army, Sir Garithos, happened to lead this group of enslaved humans.

Despite the many challenges and crises, Sylvanas made full use of her abilities and skillfully used the power of the banshee to control several unruly scouts, and then sent them to sneak into the lair of Detheroc. These controlled spies easily broke through the enemy's defenses and dealt a heavy blow to the enemy. While the enemy was still immersed in sleep, Sylvanas attacked decisively and destroyed the enemy camps one after another at a lightning speed. She was as brave and fearless as a god of war, and tore Detheroc into countless pieces with her own hands! With Detheroc's tragic death on the spot, the human soldiers who had been oppressed by him finally regained consciousness and regained their self-awareness; however, at this moment, there was only one way to go before them: that was to be forced to form a fragile and uncertain alliance with Sylvanas.

In this way, the army led by Sylvanas and the remnants of Garithos fought side by side, heading towards the ultimate goal - Balnazzar, ready to completely eradicate this terrifying and difficult enemy.

They attacked Balnazzar's stronghold in the ruins of Lordaeron's capital on two fronts. Balnazzar summoned demonic reinforcements from a demon portal, but despite desperate resistance, he was eventually defeated. Sylvanas and Garithos cornered him. As a final test of Varimathras' loyalty, Sylvanas ordered the demons to kill his brother. Varimathras was very reluctant to break the Nathrezim's rule that they must not kill each other, but he ultimately valued his own life more. He did not hesitate and viciously "killed" Balnazzar (later plots proved that Balnazzar was faking his death).

With the mission accomplished and the dreadlord dead, Lordaeron was finally free of the Scourge. Garithos demanded that Sylvanas and her forces leave "his" city. Sylvanas ordered Varimathras to kill Garithos. He gladly did so, and in doing so, he solidified his position among Sylvanas' followers. Varimathras helped Sylvanas build a new capital, which would later become the Undercity, based on the sewer system of the ruined capital of Lordaeron. It was at this time that Sylvanas officially named her free-willed undead people the Forsaken.
