HP: Embrace the Darkness

Chapter 996 Extra - Travel (Part )

After coming out of Cologne Cathedral, the two headed straight to Iceland.

That was their second stop.

Iceland is known as the end of the world.

Ases was wealthy and powerful, so he directly had an off-road vehicle airlifted over and landed in Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland, at the same time as them.

Reykjavik is the starting point of the Iceland Grand Circuit and the first stop of their trip to Iceland.

The two stopped here for a while, soaked in the Blue Lagoon, and visited the ancient volcano Srinukaki before officially starting their island tour.

Snape was too lazy to drive, so Ases was the driver all the way.

He was also happy to be Snape's driver.

The Iceland Grand Loop is over 1700 kilometers long, and the distances between attractions are relatively far, so the journey to each attraction is inevitably a bit boring.

Fortunately, neither of them was impatient, and it was a rare opportunity for them to have some time alone together, so they were in no hurry. They walked slowly along the way, and when they were tired, they would rest on the spot by setting up an alchemy tent, or even spend the night.

The first stop for the two was the black sand beach of Vik.

The black sand beach stretches to the end of the skyline. Raging white waves rush in from afar, hitting the black reefs with majestic momentum. The howling wind occupies most of the human senses. It seems that between heaven and earth, there are only two extremely opposite colors, black and white.

Black sand and white waves, depression and loneliness instantly swept through every part of my body.

Snape couldn't help but hold Athis's hand tightly. The unknown spiritual life still had some impact on him.

Aces turned sideways and kissed Snape in the biting cold wind: "Sev, I am with you, I am always with you."

Soothing words continued to come out of his mouth, and Snape gradually regained his composure.

"It's alright, let's go."

Ases was worried, so he held his face and made sure he was okay.

The two held hands and walked on the pure black beach, moving forward endlessly as if they were going to the edge of the world.

The slightly salty sea breeze blew through the two of them, leaving their hair slightly wet.

Ases reached out and touched Snape's hair, and found that the ends of his hair were a little wet, so he hurriedly pulled Snape back.

Back in the car, he took out a towel from the trunk and began to wipe Snape's hair with skillful movements. His fingertips rubbed his hair, causing a slight itch. Snape couldn't help but urge him.

"hurry up."

Hearing this, Athis sped up his work and snorted twice. Snape couldn't stand it anymore and took over the job of wiping his hair.

After they were dry, they took some photos of the black sand beach and resumed their journey.

On the way to the next attraction, the two spent the night on the roadside.

They set up camp and prepared dinner for the night as the sky gradually darkened.

When the night really came, the starry sky suddenly appeared in the eyes of the two.

The beautiful scenery before them was so attractive that Athis and Snape stopped what they were doing and looked up at the bright stars in the night sky.

"It's so beautiful!"

Aces murmured in admiration.

Snape nodded in agreement. It was indeed a rare sight.

Accompanied by Xinghe, the two of them had their first meal on the island.

After dinner, Ases and Snape did not rest immediately, but lay side by side on the roof of the car, quietly enjoying the visual feast.

As it approached twelve o'clock, a brilliant green suddenly appeared in the originally bright yet quiet starry sky.

It's the Aurora.

Ases realized this immediately. He ran his hand over the items in his pocket and felt that his luck seemed a little too good.

The aurora appeared quickly, covering half of the starry sky in just a moment.

The brilliant Milky Way and the gorgeous green aurora collide in the night sky, creating a beauty that is enough to make people lose their minds.

Under the backdrop of the starry sky and the aurora, Aces prepared himself mentally and pulled Snape out of the car.

Before Snape could react, Aces knelt on one knee, holding in his hand a ring that he had prepared at some point.

He looked up at Snape, and his usually calm voice trembled a little.

"Professor, I know you don't care about these superficial forms, but even though you don't care, I can't help but do it."

Perhaps it was because Athis used the name he used in his school days and said similar words as before, his face, which had lost its youthfulness, gradually became blurred in Snape's eyes.

In a trance, Snape seemed to see Asais a few years ago.

The Aces who loved him even before she realized she was in love with him.

Snape suddenly made a decision.

He stretched out his hand and forcibly pulled Ases up from the ground.

Although Ases was surprised, he still stood up as Snape asked.

As soon as he stood up, Snape snatched the ring from his hand.

"Sev? You-"

Ases' voice suddenly stopped, and he was speechless with shock at the scene before him.

Snape, who had taken his ring, knelt on one knee, imitating what he had done just now.

"Sev?"

Aces' voice was a little hoarse due to the wind. He made the sound with difficulty and looked at Snape with surprise and disbelief.

Snape raised his head and smiled at the incredulous Aces, his smile was indescribably gentle: "I know what you are thinking, don't worry, listen to me first... I'm sorry, Aces, because of my personality, we have been together for so long, and you always do more for me."

Having said this, Snape paused and frankly revealed the hidden guilt in his eyes.

Aces reached out, covered his eyes, and leaned over to gently kiss the back of his hand.

"No need to apologize, Sev. You never have to apologize in my place."

Having said that, he removed his hand and waited for Snape's next words.

Snape pursed his lips a little embarrassedly, but still looked at Athis firmly.

"Aces, I love you, will you...stay with me forever?"

"I am willing."

Aces could no longer control his excitement, and he pulled Snape up and kissed him.

Under the Milky Way and the Aurora, the two exchanged a chilling kiss.

After the kiss, they put rings on each other's fingers.

During the long night, Athis and Snape lay on the roof of the car, chatting aimlessly.

Aces remembered the magic beams he had seen and couldn't help sharing them with Snape.

After chatting for a long time, Snape fell asleep sleepily. Aces hugged him, looking at the starry sky quietly, and occasionally glancing at the sleeping Snape.

This was a day Asseth would never forget.

Looking up, I saw the gorgeous aurora, and lying next to me was the lover I had admired for many years.
