HP: Embrace the Darkness

Chapter 995 Extra - Travel

Hogwarts dungeon corridor.

Snape walked quickly, his black robe swinging as he went along, his face looking frighteningly dark.

Damn that guy, instead of being an Auror, he came back to be the Head of Gryffindor and make things difficult for him!!!

The thought of having to face that annoying face every day and clean up the mess from time to time made Snape's face become more gloomy, and the movement of pushing the door open became more rough.

Miss Medusa and Mobhido swayed and entangled with each other, but they did not fall down.

Snape walked into the cellar with a menacing look on his face. Just as he was about to slam the door shut, a hand suddenly stretched out from behind the door, grabbed his wrist and pulled it hard.

Caught off guard, Snape stumbled backwards and reflexively drew his wand, the tip of which immediately glowed red.

The next second, a familiar breath rushed over and silently enveloped him.

It's Asseth.

The body's instinct was faster than the brain's command, and the wand that had just been raised was put down and turned into a verbal attack.

"I suppose I had said that such behavior was dangerous. If I hadn't reacted, you wouldn't even know how you died!"

Snape scolded Athis for his reckless and stupid behavior, but his hands subconsciously raised up, hugged back, and patted him gently a few times.

He knew that Ases had an inexplicable obsession with hugs, and he was happy to satisfy him.

Ases raised his foot and kicked the door, and it closed steadily. Darkness enveloped the cellar, swallowing up the two embracing figures.

Aces held Snape against the wall and hugged him quietly for a while. When he had satisfied himself, he stepped away a little, raised the corner of his lips in a lazy arc, and leaned forward like a boneless person: "Severus, I missed you so much."

After being hit by the straight ball, Snape's eyes softened visibly, and his hands kept moving, tapping every now and then.

"Me too."

Hearing the response, the corners of Ases' lips curved deeper, and he slowly moved closer with joy in his eyes. Their lips and teeth touched each other, and they exchanged a kiss that contained no lust, but only longing.

The kiss ended and they both broke apart breathlessly, each catching their breath.

Aces glanced up and automatically tidied up Snape's messy hair that was scattered on the edge of his cheek. He asked in a hoarse voice: "What's wrong? You didn't look well just now?"

The anger that had been soothed by the lover's kiss rose again.

Snape's face suddenly darkened, and he said with a hint of mockery: "Perhaps a Potter who is showing off everywhere can tell you the answer. Of course, it is not ruled out that his brain, which is more degenerate than that of single-celled organisms, is simply unable to understand what has happened and what will happen in the future."

When Headmaster Snape was angry, his words were sharp and sarcastic. He was not polite when he criticized the future Headmaster of Gryffindor, and his disgust was so full that it almost overflowed.

The surging anger covered his pale cheeks with a layer of light red like clouds, completely changing his previous lifeless appearance, and the whole person looked extremely lively.

Ases' eyes were full of tenderness, and he responded from time to time to make his position clear.

He loved it when the Potions Master confided in him, no matter what it was.

It’s just that being angry isn’t a good thing.

Aces pondered for a moment, and suddenly interrupted Snape's complaints: "Sev, if you don't want to see Potter, let's go traveling."

"Travel?" Snape raised his eyebrows and uttered these two words with interest.

"Yes, traveling." Arces led Snape to the sofa and explained as he walked, "Over the years, I have been inspecting industries. Every time I arrive at a place, I always think about how nice it would be if you were by my side. Unfortunately, we are both very busy and have never found a suitable opportunity to go out together."

When he spoke of the latter part, Ases's face was full of resentment, and it took him a long time to suppress his emotions.

"Sev, now is a good opportunity. I rescued a potion master before. I have seen his level and he can definitely substitute for the class. As for the headmaster's affairs... let Albus take care of it for a few days. What do you think?"

Snape was a little moved.

I can travel with my lover; I don’t have to correct meaningless papers that are like waste paper; I don’t have to face annoying and brainless students, and I don’t have to face the reckless and impatient Porter.

Kill four birds with one stone!

"it is good."

He agreed without hesitation.

"If you don't want to—"

Asais, who was about to persuade him again, stopped talking, froze for a moment, and asked uncertainly: "Sif, did you just say yes?"

Snape nodded.

"Yes, I agree."

good!?

It’s really good!

A pie dropped from the sky and hit him on the head. Ases felt dizzy and was so surprised that he couldn't speak. He couldn't help but move forward and tentatively kiss his lover.

Snape glanced over and tacitly allowed Athis to approach.

This time the kiss was not as gentle as the reunion after a long separation. Ases almost eagerly snatched the breath between the lips and teeth, and the tip of the tongue danced skillfully, fighting back and forth.

Seeing that Snape still had no intention of objecting, he gradually went deeper, and his hands began to become dishonest, moving around the waist and abdomen.

The atmosphere gradually became heated, and without knowing when, the robes of both parties were untied.

Snape always indulged Athis and it was true that he missed him, but it was also true that he was not as good at expressing his emotions directly as Athis, so he usually responded in another way.

For example, Ases was particularly indulgent.

Aces half-hugged Snape as he stood up from the sofa and stumbled towards the room, kissing him all the way.

After entering, he raised his hand and the door lock closed with a "click", covering up the sound inside.

One night of absurdity.

The lights went out and the two fell asleep in each other's arms.

-

The next morning.

Ases woke up early and mysteriously took out something and studied it on the bed.

This bastard must have been prepared for the trip - Snape realized this when he saw the map revealed by the light, and raised his eyebrows to look at Ases.

Ases showed no guilt at all and presented his long-planned plan in a serious manner.

Snape just crossed his arms and watched him pretending, neither smiling nor saying a word.

Under the half-smiling gaze of his lover, Ases finally couldn't help but break his composure.

"Okay, I admit, I've wanted to travel with you for a long time, so when I saw Mr. Potter applied, I approved it."

As he said this, Athis still felt guilty, so he moved over, put his arm around Snape's shoulders, and kissed his cheek in a flattering manner.

"I have a legitimate reason. Minerva was injured in the final battle while protecting the students. Her health is not as good as before. She is also old now and her energy is limited. With Potter accepting Gryffindor, she can rest more. Even if she doesn't want to retire yet, it won't be too hard for her."

Aces said no more.

But Snape already understood what he meant. His brows were furrowed, and his lips, which had not had any water all night, were curled up with dead skin, which he forced to close.

When Ases saw his dry lips and brows twisted into several crossed straight lines, his heart ached. After a while, he raised his hand, gently smoothed his frowning brows with his fingertips, and coaxed softly: "Don't worry, Minerva is fine now. I have arranged someone to pay special attention to her physical condition."

Seeing that Snape was still frowning, Athis simply moved closer, leaned over, and kissed his eyebrows one by one along the bridge of his nose: "After all, we are here, Minerva will be fine."

Snape felt relieved knowing that Athis had always been well behaved.

The two continued to snuggle in bed and study their travel plans.

-

The two decided to make Germany their first stop of the trip so they could visit their families along the way.

After a brief visit to relatives and friends, Aces and Snape came to Cologne Cathedral.

The Cologne Cathedral, which took six hundred years to build, is hailed as the pinnacle of Gothic church architecture. It combines grandeur and delicacy, and its complexity and grandeur are breathtaking.

In addition to potions and the dark arts, the Potions Master is also interested in art.

So as soon as he arrived at Cologne Cathedral, he was attracted by the building exuding artistic atmosphere. He walked around the Cologne Cathedral almost obsessedly. Ases followed behind him, never taking his eyes off him.

The lady next to him noticed this and couldn't help but step forward to ask: "Excuse me, are you partners?"

"Yes, he is my partner."

The word "partner" behind the words was emphasized meaningfully by Ases.

The lady understood immediately and smiled at him ambiguously, teasing in a friendly manner: "I think I can see that your eyes have not left him from just now until now."

Ases unconsciously curled his lips, showing off and teasing himself: "I can't help it, I love him more than my life, I can't bear to take my eyes off him, even for just a second."

Faced with Ases's behavior which seemed to be teasing but was actually a generous declaration of love, the lady expressed her understanding. After all, she was also a person who had gone through the green years, and she looked at Ases sincerely.

"You two are a perfect match. I wish you happiness."

Ases thanked him with a smile in his eyes.

Snape, who was walking in front studying architectural aesthetics, found that Aces was not following him, so he subconsciously turned back to look for him.

Ases took a big step forward.

Snape stopped and waited until he caught up before continuing forward.

The two of them cooperated well with each other. The lady walking behind them carefully noticed these details, smiled from the bottom of her heart, and then turned around and walked into the crowd alone.

Today is Sunday. Aces and Snape arrived by chance and just in time for the church mass. The believers in white clothes walked against the flow of people towards the altar.

Neither of them had any faith, but out of respect, they followed the crowd and sat on the church benches, ready to watch this grand ceremony.

The mass ceremony began, sacred music sounded, and the huge church was suddenly filled with neat and low prayers and choirs. An inexplicably solemn atmosphere spread. Even tourists who didn't know what the mass was quieted down and watched the ceremony silently.

The sunlight shines through the stained glass onto everyone, giving the ceremony the most brilliant colors.

Amid the devout singing, Athis couldn't help but turn his head to look at Snape beside him.

At this moment, all the sounds and crowds in the air disappeared, and his eyes were filled with only the lover whom he had gone through so much hardship to find.

His lips moved slightly as he prayed silently and devoutly.

May his lover be well.

Snape sensed something and turned his head to look over, raised his eyebrows slightly and asked what was wrong.

Aces smiled tenderly, his usually affectionate peach blossom eyes were tinged with the dazzling colors of the stained glass, becoming even more affectionate. He shook his head gently, indicating that he was fine, and reached out to Snape to interlock his fingers, and continued to watch the mass ceremony.

Athis turned his head, but Snape didn't. His eyes fell on the profile of Athis, his eyes focused and pious.

Once again, he prayed in his mind.

I hope his Ases lives the rest of his life in peace.

During the grand mass ceremony, among the devout believers, two people without faith, spontaneously prayed devoutly for each other in their hearts.

Love makes the faithless pious.
