HP: Embrace the Darkness

Chapter 433: During the game (Part )

The light spot ahead is getting brighter and brighter.

Harry quickened his pace, and when the distance was less than ten meters, the light spot disappeared again.

This time the light disappeared and Harry looked at the road behind it. It was a dead end with dense hedges growing entangled and blocking the way.

Harry raised his fluorescent wand and passed it across the hedge, carefully observing the marks on it.

He didn't see anything, and as time passed, he didn't dare to linger here any longer.

Taking one last look at the place where the eyes disappeared, he quickly left.

His luck didn't seem to be very good next.

Under everyone's gaze, the roads Harry found several times in a row were all dead ends. After finally finding a new route, a huge monster lay in the middle of the road.

"He's just so unlucky."

"Who says it isn't?"

The little wizards were chirping.

Harry inside was not as relaxed as them. He held his wand tightly, not intending to get entangled with the giant scorpion-like monster, and stepped back cautiously, preparing to take a detour.

Snape sneered: "At least you still have some brains."

"After suffering a loss, if you don't know how to hide, you will be hopeless."

Aces followed, and then the two continued to pay attention to the situation above.

But Snape didn't notice that Artes' attention was more on Cedric's curtain.

He felt that time was almost up.

The premise of effective evasion tactics is that they are not discovered. Harry, who accidentally stepped on a branch, knew that he could not escape, so he raised his wand and struck first.

"There are many obstacles."

The movement of the giant scorpion was hindered, and it was delayed for a moment. The attack of the scorpion's raised tail did not stop, and the fire snake snaked towards Harry.

With the firelight, Harry and the audience outside the venue saw the true face of the giant scorpion.

The ferocious scorpion tail, hard shell, and pincers are the same as those of a scorpion.

"Merlin! So big."

"Hermione, I suddenly discovered that spiders are actually not unacceptable, if they are not so big."

Hermione glared at Ron angrily, with worry in her eyes. While looking at the curtain above, she silently prayed for Harry in her heart.

The fire snake dominated the whole scene. Harry's foot was injured and he couldn't move much, so he took the opportunity to fall to the side, narrowly avoiding the fire snake's lick.

"There are many obstacles!"

"There are many obstacles!"

Continuous spells were issued from the wand, some hitting the monster's shell, and some hitting the ground, stirring up choking dust.

The giant scorpion monster kept walking and swaggered in front of Harry. Harry sat on the ground in a panic and continued to cast spells on the monster.

He was smart this time and did not hit the shells. Instead, he specifically selected a few vulnerable places to attack. Seeing where the giant scorpion monster blocked them, he would grab them and attack crazily.

In the end, the giant scorpion monster stopped due to continuous attacks on its weakness.

Taking this opportunity, Harry got up regardless of the pain in his feet and staggered over the giant scorpion monster.

The savior's crisis was temporarily lifted, and the other person's face suddenly appeared in the other two pictures next to him.

Cedric and Krum met head on.

With just one glance, Artes knew that Krum was being manipulated by someone using the Imperius Curse.

He raised his eyebrows slightly, a little surprised: "Is it him? No, it's obviously a mouse."

Knowing it wasn't Krum, he relaxed again.

Cedric didn't take meeting Krum to heart at first.

Because he was an opponent from a different school, he did not say hello and was wary of retreating when facing Krum.

The dark night concealed Krum's dull eyes very well. No one thought that he would be manipulated to attack other players, so when the attack came out, there were boos and curses.

Cedric was glad that he didn't turn his back to Krum, otherwise he wouldn't have been able to react.

He waved his wand, and the light blue cover blocked Krum's attack.

Not intending to get entangled with Krum here, Cedric continued to back away while pointing the wand directly at him and warning Krum about his behavior.

Krum remained unmoved and unanswered, raising his wand again.

"Heart-breaking and bone-cutting!"

No one expected that Krum would actually use the Cruciatus Curse among the three unforgivable curses during the game. Everyone was stunned, including Cedric opposite him.

Distraction is the most taboo thing in battle. Cedric didn't react and was hit by the Cruciatus Curse. His whole body twitched and he fell heavily to the ground.

"Damn it, it's the Cruciatus Curse!"

Digory roared loudly and tried to rush in angrily, but was stopped by Professor McGonagall at the door.

"It's my son who's been hit by the Cruciatus Curse! He's in pain right now and he needs me."

He lost control and roared at Professor McGonagall.

Professor McGonagall was also worried about Cedric.

But Cedric could have surrendered. The fact that he didn't surrender showed that he was not willing to give up yet, and they had to respect his choice.

Professor McGonagall tried hard to persuade the emotional Digory to go back, but because he really couldn't worry about Cedric, he walked through the maze by himself, preparing to go to Cedric's side and take him away as soon as he surrendered.

Teachers stand.

The headmaster of Hufflepuff, the witch who treated everyone with gentleness, turned black for the first time. She stood up and walked towards Karkaroff to ask for an explanation.

Professor Flitwick followed.

Aces had no intention of paying attention to where they were going, and his eyes were fixed on the curtain in mid-air.

"Are you worried about him?"

Snape asked a question very abruptly.

Only then did Asseth realize that his emotions were a little leaked.

He calmed down, suppressed his solemnity about the unknown, and said to Snape with a smile: "Durmstrang's players were under the Imperius Curse, and there are more than four people in the maze."

"The Imperius Curse?"

Snape looked at Krum in Cedric's screen, narrowed his eyes slightly, and recognized it carefully.

Cedric fell to the ground and was shaking. The picture was shaking and unclear. He couldn't tell whether Krum was under the Imperius Curse.

"how do you know?"

Aces smiled slyly and took out a pocket watch.

"Their badges have the hands and feet I left behind, which can detect the spell in them and show it."

Snape took the pocket watch.

There were four people's names on the pocket watch. Two of the names lit up, Cedric and Krum. Their names were followed by the Cruciatus Curse and the Imperius Curse respectively.

"Is this how Dumbledore held the competition?"

It has become Snape's habit to throw the responsibility on Dumbledore, and now is no exception. He subconsciously throws the responsibility away.

Artes silently looked at the pocket watch in Snape's hand, and in his mind was a prophecy that still didn't match up to the present.

"Sev, I might have to leave for a while."

He raised his head and said seriously.

Snape frowned: "Are you going to save him? He is in a competition now, not in class. He has not given up yet, so it is useless even if you go."

"I know." Artes didn't know how to explain it, so he simply acquiesced to Snape's statement, "I just think something is wrong inside."
