HP: Embrace the Darkness

Chapter 432 During the game (Part )

Aces realized he had made a mistake.

It was getting late, and the hedges surrounding the maze stood tall, blocking the light from outside. The warriors' fluorescent spells had a limited range, and they were all intended to illuminate the path under their feet, and they could not take care of other places.

Without light, people outside could not see the scene inside at all, and could only hear the sound of the magic spell being recited.

"Using a fluorescent spell on them now is considered cheating." Asseth whispered to himself.

His voice was heard by Snape beside him, who gave him a warning look.

"Okay, I'm just telling you."

Aces dismissed his bad thoughts and calmly stared at the curtain above.

The little wizards’ stand was quite lively.

For them, there was no picture to see, and it was enough to hear the sounds of the warriors casting spells. They have rich imaginations and can imagine the danger inside by listening to the sounds.

This is clearly reflected in the Weasley twins.

Now Professor McGonagall was in charge of patrolling the maze, and no one was watching over them. They simply stood up, danced with the sounds coming from mid-air, and performed a brave warrior's journey through the maze for the other little wizards.

The little wizards also followed their example, watching with gusto, and kept cheering, not sure if it was for Harry who was chanting the spell inside, or for them.

The sound over there was a little louder, and Artes looked over curiously. When he saw the red-haired twins jumping and dancing, he pulled Snape down.

"Are they acting like warriors?"

Nothing could be seen behind the curtain, and Snape was idly thinking about what other potions could be improved. When Artes pulled him, he moved his eyes away and replied slowly: "Maybe."

Artes clicked his tongue, leaned back in his chair, raised his hands to half support his face, and casually chatted with Snape.

"Are they bored?"

"Maybe."

Snape had no expression on his face, but he was attentive enough to listen to what Ass had to say, but what he said was still the same answer he just said.

Artes finally realized that Snape seemed to be perfunctory with him. He tilted his hand, sat up straight and looked sideways, with a slight grievance in his tone.

"Am I noisy?"

"It's indeed very noisy... It seems that our alchemy professor still has some self-awareness and doesn't need me to remind him with potions."

Snape was used to talking like this, and he didn't think about Artes. His original intention was to tell Artes to be quiet, but sitting on his right was the sensitive goblin professor.

When Professor Flitwick heard Snape's words, he felt bad and immediately remembered Professor McGonagall's instructions before the game, asking him to look at other colleagues and not to cause trouble.

Now he no longer cared about watching the game, and quickly settled things down nicely.

"Aces is watching the Triwizard Tournament for the first time. He may be a little excited, so he is more active. Severus, don't argue with him. How about we change positions?"

Snape lowered his head, and fell silent for a moment when he saw Professor Flitwick's anxious and worried eyes, which he had to hide and dared not reveal to hurt his colleagues' hearts.

"……No."

"Really? I don't mind."

Professor Flitwick was worried that Snape would be embarrassed, so he was ready to jump down first and use his actions to prove that Snape didn't mind.

Seeing that he was about to jump down and change places with Snape, Artes subconsciously stretched out his hand around Snape's shoulders and pulled the goblin professor's back collar.

Professor Flitwick, who was not jumping, turned around in shock and saw a pair of hands grasping his collar easily.

"Aces? What are you doing?"

Asseth didn't feel embarrassed when he was caught by the person involved, so he let go of his hand with a springy smile.

"No, we were just joking."

Professor Flitwick looked at him suspiciously, and was about to say something, when a hurried call suddenly came from the curtain, followed by a series of sounds of chanting magic spells.

"Oh, it's Harry's voice, and Cedric, what's wrong with them!"

The little goblin professor stood up on his chair in a hurry, trying to stand on tiptoes to see clearly what the two warriors of Hogwarts were doing.

"Take your hands back."

Snape reminded him with an expressionless face, and his sharp eyes fell on Artes.

Aces blinked innocently, and after a few seconds he suddenly realized that he remembered that his hand was still on the back of the chair, and put it away obediently.

Snape snorted coolly, pretending he didn't know what Ass was thinking.

The scene on the curtain has calmed down.

Harry and Cedric appeared in the picture of each other. They had just been forced together by an unknown big hand, and they finally got rid of it.

The two exchanged a few words in low voices, and people outside saw them quickly separated before they could hear clearly.

The warriors on this side stopped, and screams started coming from the other side.

Everyone looked at the curtain belonging to Furong.

The curtain was gray, as if shrouded in heavy fog, and it was difficult to see what Furong had encountered.

After that short scream, Fleur made no other sound. Instead, Harry shouted Fleur's name loudly.

The next second, the picture belonging to Harry turned in a big circle, and the world seemed to be turned upside down. The little wizards saw the dirt and hay on the ground... and glasses.

"Oh, Merlin's beard, has Harry been hung?"

"Harry!"

"What is it that can hang people up? Is it a branch? Or something?"

Hermione stared anxiously at the shaky screen, and Ron beside her was also staring at the curtain, mumbling something unknown.

The screen kept shaking.

After shaking for a while, the scene inside suddenly spun around, and finally quickly turned into black.

"boom--"

It was a very deep, muffled sound, with a bit of the owner's muffled hum in it.

Almost everyone heard the sound of flesh contacting the ground, and they all gasped.

"Hey, it was so high just now, how painful it is."

"I don't know, it must be painful anyway."

The scene was still changing, and the black clouds generously moved away at this time, allowing the moonlight to shine down.

Everyone finally saw the scene in front of Harry clearly - the gray fog occupied all their sight, and they could vaguely see a little light in front of them.

Dragging his twisted foot after falling, Harry limped through the gray fog and chased the light spot.

At this moment, the light spot suddenly disappeared.

Harry had no direction, stopped suddenly, and looked around carefully.

He was not stupid, the light spot was obviously attracting him to come closer, but he didn't know whether the light spot was a person or a magical animal arranged by Hagrid.

Sure enough, after he stopped, the light spot appeared again in another direction.

Harry carefully threw a few spells towards the light spot, but the distance was too far, the spells could not hit, and he could not see clearly.

He stood there, struggling for a while, and finally limped towards the light spot.
