Harry Potter Morning Light

Chapter 3057 adamas (ten)

"Remember not to tell my mother about the butterbeer."

Before coming to Lily's house, she had warned Pomona.

After arriving at Lily's house, Pomona found that there was not a drop of alcohol in Evans' house, and there was only Coke in the refrigerator. If Mr. Evans wanted to drink cold beer, he had to go outside to drink it. He often joins a gentleman next door, drinking and chatting by the fish pond he dug.

Mr. Evans wanted a boy very much, mainly because he felt that he and the boy would have common hobbies, such as hiking and fishing together.

He welcomed Snape, although he was a well-known weird kid, and after seeing Muggle horror movies, Pomona felt that he had a natural eerie temperament without makeup.

Of course he can't go fishing with Mr. Evans, but he will help Mr. Evans clean up the fish pond, and Mr. Evans will invite him into the house to drink Coke.

Mr Evans is not a local, or rather grew up in Cokworth, where the water company sent him to test the water.

For this reason he knew clean waterways that not many locals knew, and he drove Pomona and Lily to a place he thought was awesome, and there were even swans.

"Don't feed them bread," Mr. Evans told them, after seeing them tear up bread and throw it to the swans. "It's not good for their stomachs."

The swan wanted to eat the bread, but Pomona obediently stopped spreading the bread crumbs, and Lily took out the chocolate frog pictures that had been sorted out.

No little wizard can refuse the chocolate frog, even if it is not for the chocolate, it will be for the collection of pictures, which Lily collected a few years ago.

Lily is holding Albus Dumbledore's chocolate frog card, but he is not there, only his introduction.

"Grindelwald is a dark wizard, isn't he?" Lily asked Pomona. "So Dumbledore is a 'white wizard.'"

Pomona didn't like the drama of light over darkness, but he couldn't deny the fact.

"I read in the history of magic that they are still friends." Lily continued looking at the picture.

"When they were young," Pomona replied.

"How can Dumbledore be friends with bad people?" Lily asked.

Pomona also couldn't say that Grindelwald "isn't a bad guy."

"They want to remake the world," Pomona said.

"What?" Lily asked, confused and surprised.

"Where there is light there is darkness, Lily, everything is relative." Pomona said, looking into red-haired Lily's green eyes. "Big needs small to set off."

Lily snorted.

"Like James Potter, he needed others to make him great."

Pomona didn't mean that, but she turned her gaze to the water, where a black swan mingled with the white swans.

"I think I saw Severus," Pomona said.

"Didn't he spend the summer with Slughorn?" Lily said.

That's why Pomona found the scene terrifying.

"Where did you see him?" Lily asked.

"Just outside your house," Pomona said.

"Why didn't I see it?" Lily asked.

You don't see a lot of things to go for.

Pomona thought, and looked at the black swan again.

"Everyone says Slytherin is evil, but you think Severus is evil?" Pomona asked.

Lily was silent, as if lost in thought.

In fact, Mrs. Evans also has a favorite fashion style. She likes to look at Chanel's designs in magazines.

But Chanel used a lot of black and looked a little heavy, perhaps because Chanel was influenced by the nuns in the orphanage where she grew up.

The dead city needed no more dullness, so Mrs. Evans chose florals, and sewed them herself, whether she wore them or her daughters.

She gets attention when she walks down the street, but she never cares.

Pomona looked across the river at the lawn in bloom, wildflowers that looked so much like the flowers on the clothes.

"Is there something good about the dark wizard?" Lily asked.

"I don't want to mislead you, you'd better investigate yourself." Pomona said, "Especially now the mysterious man..."

"Lily!" Mr. Evans yelled suddenly. "Ten more minutes!"

"Okay!" Lily said briskly, then shook the crumbs off her body and stood up.

"Let's pick some flowers home, mother will like it," said Lily.

Pomona also stood up.

She had heard that the Malfoy family's estate was full of roses, but not every woman liked to decorate her home with roses.

The little daisy is actually pretty too.

———————————————————————————————————————————

Mrs. Evans has always wanted to go to France. Once she was surprised to find that there was a time difference between France and Britain, although the time difference was only one hour.

This is not surprising at all, there is a time difference between many countries, what is surprising is that she seems not to know about it.

When it's five o'clock in England, it's six o'clock in France, people are used to it because the time zones are so divided.

People won't argue because of this, at least not like some people who formed the Anti-Dark Arts League, thinking that all dark wizards should be arrested, and they should be neighbors with dementors in Azkaban instead of being their own neighbors.

The five o'clock in Britain and the six o'clock in France exist "simultaneously", while the dark wizards and the dark magic alliance are opposed to each other. Lily finally feels that black magic is not a good thing. He got very close and became the object of her rejection unless he could "reform".

There are many ways of guidance. Some people will guide the lost people to the right path, while others will just point to one, even if that path is wrong.

Grindelwald's speech in the Catacombs of Paris, his "truth" is not the same as saying "I don't know where the partisans are" to the Nazis.

The future is very uncertain, and people need the guidance of prophets.

If ordinary people can choose other moral principles instead of observing "honesty" as the highest moral principle, then "Thou shalt not lie" is the highest moral principle of the Prophet.

Who would believe a lying prophet?

When the cheating party promises not to see the third party, but breaks the promise time and time again. Love can make people tolerant, but at the same time love will be exhausted. It is better to break up before the love disappears, so that when you think of the other party, you will not only have disgust and the shortcomings of the other party.

This is why Pomona thinks that the first love is very likely to rekindle the old relationship. When they grow up a little bit, they understand how easy it was to break up when they were young, and when they think of each other, it seems that everything can start again.

After all, times have changed, and people will change somewhat.

The office in Pomona has a bit of brandy, which she drinks with her black tea, not for the taste but because it warms the body in winter.

Severus didn't choose it, he took two glasses, filled one of them with a fountain of water, and drank it all in one gulp.

He talked a little long with Stringer, drying himself out, which Pomona understood.

It wasn't polite to stay in the lady's room so late, but she wasn't so stingy that he didn't want a drink and didn't give him a place.

She wanted him to go, but she didn't know how to say it. She could only watch him drink one cup after another.

"You know why ghosts gather in the pumpkin patch?" he said after a few glasses of water.

"I don't know," Pomona said.

"It's so noisy here, not to mention Hagrid's house is so close." Severus said grimly, "He's not there."

"He's a tree farm guard, probably on patrol," Pomona said.

he laughed.

"What are you laughing at?" Pomona frowned.

"I suggested he get the animal back and put it in his yard so no one would have a reason to keep digging around trying not to find it," he said nonchalantly.

She didn't like his attitude, but he didn't seem to care what she thought anymore.

"I want your answer, don't try to be the same this time." He stared at her and said, as if threatening her.

Wilde said that there are two tragedies in the world, one is not getting what he wants, and the other is getting it.

But he also said that the dreamer finds his way only in the moonlight, and his punishment is the first dawn seen.

She thought it was time to wake up.

"Dumbledore told me to give you a chance." She said calmly, "I think you deserve it."

He kept looking at her.

"It's late Severus, I'm sleepy," Pomona said.

He stood up, swayed a bit, and looked bewildered.

"If you don't want to go back to the castle, there's plenty of room in the conservatory," she said softly.

He didn't speak, and Pomona was speechless in embarrassment. Did she get it wrong? Why isn't it raining now like in the movie?

She looked up at the sky, the moon was hanging high, casting moonlight, although not as bright as a full moon, it was enough to illuminate everything on the ground.

"It's only before 10 o'clock, I don't want to go to bed so early." He said lightly, picked up a book on the shelf and read it.

That book was not written by Wilde, but Pomona remembered a line he had said.

A man can always be kind to someone he doesn't care about.

So she doesn't care at all now.

Then she went back to the room and closed the door with a bang to block the view from the outside. She wanted to change the pajamas she was wearing.

What did she think at the time, actually making clothes from spider silk, isn't this "cocooning oneself"?
