Alchemy professor at Hogwarts

Chapter 192 New Features of the Magic Forum

Chapter 192 New Features of the Magic Forum
The three little ones explained to Professor Ollivander what had just happened.

Hardy rubbed his eyebrows with a headache.

It appears that Hagrid really chose to have hippogriffs as his first lesson in Care of Fantastic Creatures.

There was a sound of hurried footsteps, and Snape walked quickly, clutching his wizard robe, but Harry and the others didn't see Hagrid.

"Look," Snape's lips moved, "this is the first lesson your good friend is teaching!"

"Where's Hagrid?" Harry asked eagerly.

Snape glanced at the other party coldly, immediately cast Apparation and disappeared.

"Professor Ollivander, please," Hermione looked at Hardy anxiously, "Malfoy will be fine, right? Hagrid won't be—"

"Fired again!" Ron snapped.

"You go back first, and I will find Malfoy with Professor Snape."

There was a sound as if a tire burst. Just as Hardy disappeared, a large flock of birds suddenly flew out from the direction of the Forbidden Forest.

It was noon the next day when the three of Harry saw Snape and Professor Ollivander again.

George and Fred brought news of Malfoy from the Slytherin table.

Snape and the others found Malfoy hanging upside down in the centaur tribe in the Forbidden Forest late at night.

He was trembling with fright, his arm was broken, and he was always worried that he would be eaten by the group of savage species on the campfire.

"They're not going to fire him, are they?" Hermione asked worriedly, not touching the steak and kidney pudding in front of her.

"Better not," said Ron, who wasn't in the mood to eat either.

Harry watched the Slytherin table, where a large group of people, including Crabbe and Goyle, were whispering, and he knew they must be exaggerating Malfoy's injury.

After the spell class ended in the afternoon, Harry and the others came to Hagrid's cabin, and Professor Ollivander was also inside.

They were talking about something in the dungeon, but quickly stopped talking about it.

Hagrid sat in his shirt-sleeves at the well-scrubbed wooden table, having had a good deal of wine.

"This is probably a broken record," he said in a low voice after recognizing them. "Probably no teacher has ever taught a class for only one day before."

"You're not expelled, Hagrid!" gasped Hermione in surprise.

"Not yet," said Hardy, standing opposite Hagrid, "but Dumbledore is in a meeting with the school trustees, including Lucius Malfoy, of course."

Ron covered his mouth, "What about Malfoy?"

"Madam Pomfrey will fix him," Hardy replied.

Outside, it was getting dark.

After taking turns comforting Hagrid, Hardy had to take the three of Hermione back to the castle, "Until Sirius Black is caught, you must remain vigilant."

Malfoy didn't show up in class until Thursday morning, when the two alchemy lessons in Slytherin and Gryffindor were almost over.

Malfoy strutted into the classroom, his right arm wrapped in a bandage and sling.

He looked, Harry thought, like a hero who had narrowly escaped death in battle.

He gave Harry a nasty look, and then took his place, where Hardy was talking about the new features of the Magic Forum on the podium.

"I have to thank my teaching assistant, Luna Lovegood," he said, "It is her suggestion and even design that we ushered in the function of sticking hot questions to the top of the magic forum."

"I hope you can make full use of the magic forum, help each other, and answer questions."

After class, Malfoy strutted towards Harry's desk.

"Have you seen your friend Hagrid lately?" he asked them in a low voice.

"Never mind." Ron said angrily without looking up.

"I'm afraid he won't be a teacher," said Malfoy, with an affected tone of sadness. "My dad wasn't too happy about my injury—"

"He protested to the school board, and he protested to the Ministry of Magic. My dad was very influential, you know. To have a teacher like Hagrid at school—"

He sighed hypocritically, "Who can guarantee that there won't be another injured student?"

Malfoy's thin lips twisted into a smug smile as he left.

Harry, Ron, and Hermione finished packing and headed upstairs to the foyer. Harry was thinking about the troubles Hagrid might encounter next, and Ron was mad at Malfoy all the time.

"Hey, where's Hermione? Where did she go?" Ron suddenly noticed that Hermione was gone.

Harry turned around too, and they were at the top of the stairs as the rest of the class passed them on their way to the Great Hall for lunch.

"She was just behind us," said Ron, frowning.

"There she is," said Harry.

Hermione came hurrying up the stairs, panting, clutching her schoolbag with one hand and seeming to be stuffing something under her robes with the other.

"How did you do that?" said Ron.

"What's the matter?" Hermione asked, following them.

"Just now you were behind us, and in the blink of an eye, you ran down the stairs again."

"What?" Hermione seemed a little puzzled. "Oh - I'll go back and get something. Oh shit..."

Hermione's bag was torn a crack.Harry wasn't the least bit surprised to see at least a dozen tomes stuffed into the bag.

"What are you taking all these books with you?" Ron asked her.

"You know how many subjects I have," said Hermione breathlessly. "Please, get me some, will you?"

"But—" Ron flipped through the covers of the books Hermione handed him, "You don't have these classes today, you only have Defense Against the Dark Arts class this afternoon."

"Yes, yes." Hermione replied vaguely, still stuffing those books into her schoolbag, "I wish I had something delicious for lunch, I'm starving."

After she finished speaking, she walked quickly towards the auditorium.

"Do you think Hermione is hiding something from us?" Ron asked Harry.

Harry couldn't tell either.

But recently Hermione is really a bit strange, she always disappears suddenly, and then reappears from other places.

……

On Tuesday night, in the school infirmary, Hardy was communicating with Madam Pomfrey about the examination of Madam Pince.

"I'm sorry, Hardy, Mrs. Pince is quite resistant to the inspection," Madam Pomfrey showed embarrassment, "Is it true? She was really oblivioned by others?"

"Very likely, that's why a full inspection is needed," Hardy said.

Braden has affirmed his suggestion.

If Mrs. Pince was indeed under the Amnestic Curse, then even letting her drink Veritaserum Potion would not help.

"She insists that she is very healthy," Madam Pomfrey clasped her hands together.

Hardy nodded, "It's totally understandable, just leave the rest to me, and I'll make her change her mind."

On the way back to the lounge, Hardy met Lupine, who looked much better than when he first came to Hogwarts.

Defense Against the Dark Arts was now a subject that most people enjoyed, and Lupine was rarely paid for the job to replace his patched robes.

It seems that they are going to find Professor Snape to get the wolfsbane potion again?

After a brief greeting, Hardy blinked his eyes as he looked at the back of the other party walking towards the basement classroom.
