Chapter 41 Four Refuges? Little monk, I want to get married

"There once was an old monk who was always visited by thieves..."

"So much so that he couldn't bear it anymore."

"One day, the thief came again. He said to the thief, please put your hand through the crack in the door. I will give you whatever you want."

"The thief was very happy after hearing this, so he put his hand through the crack of the door. Unexpectedly, the old monk grabbed his hand, tied it to a pillar, and then beat him with a stick."

"While fighting back, I shouted: Take refuge in the Buddha! Take refuge in the Dharma! Take refuge in the Sangha!"

"The thief was in great pain and had no choice but to shout: Take refuge in the Buddha! Take refuge in the Dharma! Take refuge in the Sangha!"

"Take refuge in Buddha!"

"Take refuge in the Dharma!"

"Take refuge in the monks!"

A faint voice came from the little monk's mouth, with a trace of tranquility and long...

Take refuge in the Buddha, take refuge in the Dharma, take refuge in the Sangha...

Three refuges!

In fact, most people in Kyushu have heard some stories about the ‘Three Refuges’.

This is just a very brief story about a thief who escaped into Buddhism because of the 'Three Refuges'.

At the end of the story, the thief became a disciple of the old monk.

The reason is very simple...

Because the thief suffered from the "Three Refuges" and felt that Sakyamuni Buddha was wise and compassionate. He must have known that he would be caught, so he formulated the Three Refuges!

If he came to take a ‘six refuges’, wouldn’t he be beaten to death?

So, after recovering from his injuries, the little thief planned to become a disciple of the old monk and study Buddhism...

This time, it can be regarded as taking the right path!

"Giggle..."

And when the little monk finished telling the story, the girl's silvery laughter slowly came...

"This little thief is so stupid!"

After a long time, the girl had enough laughter. She looked at the young monk and commented seriously,

"How did Buddha know that he was being beaten?"

"And that old monk was robbed of everything, how could he afford to support such a thief?"

"Giggle, this story is too false!"

The girl was smiling, as if she was astonishing all living beings, leaving all of Kyushu stunned!

"yes!"

And the young monk rarely refuted the girl, but nodded seriously and said,

"This little thief is really stupid..."

Questioning Buddhism?

If we say that in the past, no matter what stories were told in Buddhist scriptures, the young monk would never deny it...

But this time, he nodded.

"Hey, little monk, can I tell you a story too?"

And when the young monk looked a little downcast and didn't know what to think, the girl suddenly took a step forward, her cheeks were slightly red, and she said to him.

"kindness…"

Hearing this, the young monk subconsciously took a step back, then nodded slightly and said,

"Speak!"

For some reason, looking at the girl in front of him, the little monk's heart, which was originally calm, started to feel a little better.

"I'll tell you a story about the Four Refuges..."

Looking at the little monk who lowered his head and said nothing, the girl smiled sweetly and said naughtily.

"Four...Convert?"

Hearing this, the young monk was stunned for a moment, a trace of doubt flashed across his face, and he asked,

"What are the four refuges?"

At this moment, the young monk searched through the Buddhist scriptures in his mind, but none of them mentioned the "Four Refuges". He couldn't help but feel a little lost.

"Listen to me!"

Looking at the young monk's lost expression, the girl leaned forward and spoke softly,

"Once upon a time, there was an old monk who was always visited by thieves..."

"One day, the thief came again. He said to the thief, please put your hand through the crack in the door. I will give you whatever you want."

"Isn't this the story of the Three Refuges?"

Listening to the girl's narration, the young monk couldn't help but be stunned. He couldn't help but interrupt her and asked.

Isn’t this exactly the same as my previous three refuges?

"Hmph, don't interrupt me..."

Seeing a trace of doubt flash in the young monk's clear eyes, the girl snorted coldly and continued,

Take refuge in the Sangha! Take refuge in the Sangha..."

At this point, the girl... suddenly stopped!

"Convert to what?"

Seeing this, a trace of curiosity flashed in the young monk's eyes, and he subconsciously asked.

Four refuges?

Take refuge in the Buddha, take refuge in the Dharma, take refuge in the Sangha...

What else is there to take refuge in?

"Stretch your hand over..."

Looking at the young monk's dull eyes, the girl smiled, took his hand, and wrote on his palm one by one, reading as she wrote,

"Take refuge in the Buddha! Take refuge in the Dharma! Take refuge in the Sangha!"

"Convert to... Miss Xiu..."

After the words fell, the girl wrote the word "show" on the little monk's palm.

In the Buddhist temple, the young monk was stunned and a little dull!

The clear sound of Prajna is like the wind, passing through all around...

The sky seemed to be quiet!

"Convert..."

He subconsciously murmured, wanting to say the 'Four Refuges', but in the end he just froze in place, the corner of his mouth moved slightly, and never said it.

"Say! Take refuge...what?"

The girl looked at the stunned little monk, smiled, a trace of expectation flashed in her eyes, and said softly,

"Convert..."

"Take refuge in the Buddha, take refuge in the Dharma, take refuge in the Sangha, take refuge in..."

"Amitabha!"

Facing the girl's gaze, the young monk subconsciously dodged away, clasped his hands together, recited a Buddhist sutra in his mouth, said it in one sentence, and fled in a hurry.

The girl was left alone on the spot, staring blankly at the little monk's back.

In the eyes, there was a line of clear tears, slowly flowing down...

From then on, the young monk never saw Miss Xiu for a long time...

He was still banging the wooden fish and chanting sutras silently as usual.

However, everyone could hear that there was no trace of charm in his chanting voice, and he was just chanting mechanically...

In the distance, the young monk's master, an old monk, looked at this scene and sighed slightly, but didn't say much.

In this way, a full three months passed.

It can be seen that the young monk has obviously lost too much weight and is no longer as agile as before...

And at this moment, Miss Xiu... finally arrived!

The little monk is very happy!

He hurried to the mountain gate to greet Miss Xiu, and even the wooden fish, which he had always regarded as a treasure and never left his body, was thrown aside!

For the young monk now, there is nothing more important than seeing Miss Xiu!

Qingshan Temple.

The little monk saw the girl again...

However, before he had time to speak, the girl in front of him smiled reluctantly, touched the little monk's thin face, and said softly,

"Little monk, I'm getting married!"

"I can't tell you any more stories from now on..."

One sentence was like a bolt from the blue, causing the young monk to freeze on the spot.

"You...are getting married...?"

"yes!"

"You...it's time to get married too!"

He murmured in a daze, like talking to himself, but also like...feeling silent...

Chapter 42 Parting with love! Showgirl...dead

"Little monk, I'm getting married!"

The faint voice echoed on the Heavenly Dao Golden List.

Very light.

But it made everyone tremble in their hearts!

Who can't see the girl's thoughts for so many days?

However, how can a little monk break the Buddhist precepts?

Not to mention him, even the truly enlightened monk in Jiuzhou today cannot escape the strict rules and precepts!

For a moment, everyone looked at the little monk on the screen, with more or less sympathy showing in their eyes.
