Urban ancient fairy doctor

The main plot of "Urban Ancient Immortal Doctor" has finally come to an end. It started in September 2019 and ended in August 2023, which is basically four years.

A work of almost 10 million words is a breakthrough and a challenge for me.

Looking back now, overall I am quite satisfied with it. Although it almost fell short of 10 million in the end, there is no need to care too much about the word count.

Writing a long article is like running a marathon. It is affected by many factors, including family matters, personal physical state, mental state, etc.

Looking back and summarizing it myself, the peak of this book should be in the first half of Kunlun Continent and Fairyland. It is considered to be the best period of time and the most satisfying writing period.

The worst part is the Holy World of Chaos, which is a bit deliberately trying to fill in the gaps. The story is not substantial enough and the development is not in place.

It’s an experience. Next time you write a book, you must not lose your energy at the end, otherwise it will directly affect the quality of the work.

In terms of updates, everyone later felt that updates were very annoying. In fact, this is my greatest ability.

Everyone has different abilities and specializes in different areas. My speed in writing about cities is pretty good, but when it comes to fantasy plots later on, it’s really slow.

It has nothing to do with hand speed. The key is not enough brains. It takes a long time to conceive a plot and a setting.

But I can assure you that every word is written by me, every word is carefully conceived, and there is no water at all.

As for the ending, some book friends left a message saying that the robot part at the end was not good and was somewhat superfluous.

The reason why I use such an ending is because I personally feel that AI robots are developing too fast, and if this continues, anything is possible.

Technology is a good thing, but it is also a double-edged sword. I hope this plot will remind me that everything must be done within our capabilities.

After all, I am just a small author, and there is only so much I can do.

It took me four years to write a very long novel, and I still felt a lot of emotion.

The main body of this book has ended, but there are still some unfinished plots in it, such as Wen Susu who has not ascended, Li Qingzhu in Kunlun Continent, and Chu Lingxi who is very similar to Situ Dianmo. Many people are thinking about it.

There are still some holes that need to be filled in, such as why Dongfang Renjie betrayed, and some plots that everyone feels are difficult to deal with, which can be calmed down in the extra chapter.

So I plan to continue writing extras. The update speed will not be too fast, about one article a week. Don't worry, after all, I will still focus on the creation of new books in the future.

I have been preparing for a new book for several months, but I have never been able to create a satisfactory beginning, and I have scrapped several of them.

There are two reasons. One is that I am currently writing fantasy plots and cannot regain the state of urban creation.

In addition, I have been writing for four consecutive years without taking a break. I am very tired and not in a good state.

The next plan is to take a break for a month or two and then start working on a new book. I guess it won’t be too late. I will work hard as soon as possible and start as soon as I recover.

As for the subject matter of the new book, according to current thinking, it is most likely to be a story about urban miracle doctors, but there is no guarantee of writing this thing. Maybe one day inspiration will come to me.
