[Comprehensive] The Wizard and the Fugitive

Chapter 20 The Schiller Estate

Draco didn't care about the empty rostrum and the Muggle crowd, and spent the rest of the way begging for after-dinner trifle pudding in William's ear.

William frowned and dealt with it, tossing back and forth between satisfying the boy's appetite and controlling his sweet intake. Whenever he decided to stick to his principles, Draco could always shake him just right.

The black Bentley slowly stopped at the entrance of 220 Baker Street. William got out of the car and picked up the bank statement, advertisements and other messy things in the mailbox before entering the door. The third letter from Norway came out of the messy pile. Leaked out and fell to the ground.

He didn't take it seriously, and continued talking to Draco, bent down to pick up the letter: "...two weeks? What did you eat yesterday?...I know that's not the same as treacle trifle pudding..." Gaze The moment he touched the signature, William raised his eyebrows unexpectedly, as if seeing something incredible.

The font on the envelope is different from Caesar's usual ornate, sharp like a sword, in the style of Alan Schiller.

It's hard to believe that this name just appeared in Sherlock's mouth not long ago, which made him feel very bad for a short time, and now it comes out of the mailbox again, taking the initiative to break the peaceful relationship between them that was separated by the North Sea for [-] kilometers.

William walked in, throwing a mess in his hand on the ground, leaving only the letter from Norway floating in the air, which was roughly opened by the magic.

The parchment stretched spontaneously, and stopped in front of William at the most suitable distance for reading. He quickly scanned every sentence, and his surprised expression amplified little by little.

"How is the Merlin Group?" He suddenly asked.

On the other end of the phone, Draco was stunned for a moment before answering: "Very good... Are you listening to me!"

William raised his forehead: "Okay okay, treacle trifle pudding, I get it. But absolutely no sweets tomorrow. Absolutely!"

Draco curled his lips, and decided to keep silent first, and figure out what to do tomorrow.William continued: "Leave the business to Deni. We will leave tomorrow for Norway."

"We're still a month away from the Quidditch World Cup," Draco reminded.

"I know." William looked at the letter in front of him: "Want to go to Schiller Manor?"

"We're going to Schiller's?" Draco's voice rose several degrees, and the excitement was overflowing from the phone.

William smiled: "Yes, I will go tomorrow."

……

The current head of the Schiller family, Alan Schiller, recalled William on the grounds of his upcoming engagement, but this news was not published in any newspaper, as if William was only informed, and one had to wonder if it was true. There are other things.

But even with doubts, William still had to go back. As one of the faces of the Schiller family, the reason to attend the wedding of the family leader was simply irresistible.

He and Draco hurriedly bid farewell to their neighbors on Baker Street, handed over London to Denis, boarded an international flight to Oslo, and landed in Norway two hours later.

Schiller's car was already in the parking lot, and it was still in accordance with William's habit of leaving only the car without the driver.

They headed south all the way, towards West Fall County.Draco looked out of the window the whole time, passing through the lush mountains of northern Europe, the distant place seemed like fjords and gray plains in the kingdom of elves.River birds fly by in groups, and occasionally you can see strange-looking puffins. They also pass through towns, a country ten times smaller in population than the UK, and the sparseness of passers-by makes London's congestion feel like something from another world.

"It's awesome here!" Draco pressed against the car glass, trying to follow the hovering eagle. After a while, I opened the skylight again, leaned out half of my body, and embraced the warm wind of early Norwegian summer.

Facing the magnificent nature of northern Europe, Malfoy, the wizarding world, Muggles, everything was left behind, Draco only felt that his heart was wider than ever.

"Hi!" He waved to the Muggle fishermen on the coast, who turned to look at him, laughed and waved back.

The car gradually left the coastal road, drove into the continuous beech forest, and entered the mountain along a small road that was barely enough for two cars to parallel.Draco sat on the roof of the car, dangling his legs, looking up at the 30-meter-high tree canopy, and got back into the car after a while, looking at the side face of William driving seriously: "When did you return to Norway?"

"11 is old."

Draco sighed enviously: "It's so beautiful here."

William smiled: "I heard that Malfoy Manor is also beautiful."

Draco immediately raised his chin proudly: "That is the most beautiful magic manor in England!"

"I heard there are unicorns there?"

"There are a few," Draco said, "my dad bought them."

There is a turn ahead, after which they will enter the first valley.William smiled to see the boy lost in memory, slowed down the car, and turned steadily. The line of sight blocked by the woods opened up here, Draco opened his eyes wide, and saw groups of unicorns in the valley gathered by the spring, and some of them looked back curiously when they heard the sound of the car.

"Merlin!" He looked at in amazement, "I'm going to fall in love with this place."

William shook his head and laughed: "They only move here, and further inside is Schiller's territory. The smell of black magic is too heavy, and unicorns never go there." He slowed down the car and let Draco appreciate it to his heart's content. It took a while to turn the next turn.

The wizard's eyes couldn't see any difference in the black magic breath. What Draco saw was still a large forest and valley intersecting each other, and finally they reached the small plain on the top of the mountain, the Schiller Manor...or the Schiller Castle is located here On the carpet of green grass. The ancient stone walls are serious and indifferent, only blending in with the low, cold gray-white fog in the mountains.

William drove the car to the gate of the outer courtyard, waiting for the wrought iron gate to open slowly by itself. He looked up at his former home, and Schiller Castle looked down on them.

The atmosphere here made Draco sit up straight and return to the elegance and calm that Mr. Malfoy should have in a few seconds, as if the boys who had fun along the way didn't exist at all.

They parked the car casually on the lawn and walked towards the castle. The butler, Bartha Romo, stood at the foot of the steps in a tuxedo and waited for them with just the right smile on his face.

"Welcome home, Master William." He bowed, and said respectfully to Draco: "Welcome, Mr. Malfoy." The standard posture was like a programmed robot.

William took Draco's hand and walked in: "Where's Allen?"

"Master Allen will come back to have dinner with you and Mr. Malfoy tonight."

William glanced at the butler: "Where's his fiancee?"

The butler still smiled and replied, "It's a long journey, and Miss Petrovic will arrive a few days later."

For a wizard, what kind of journey is so far away that it takes a few days?William sneered and stopped asking.

They came to the corridor on the second floor and stopped at the door of William's room. The butler said respectfully: "Your room has been cleaned."

William raised an eyebrow: "Guest room?"

The butler smiled: "Master Allen said that you and Mr. Malfoy should not have this need."

William turned to look at Draco, the boy coughed dryly, his eyes wandered, and he didn't object. So William waved his hand to let the butler back down.

After the robot-like Bartha Romo left, Draco couldn't wait to open the door, wanting to see what William's room looked like, but was disappointed to find that there was only empty luxury behind the door, which was more like a hotel than a private bedroom. Not as good as the little room in Baker Street.

"I rarely lived here as an adult," William explained. He took off his coat, unbuttoned two buttons on his shirt, sat down against the head of the bed with a relaxed posture, and looked at Draco with a smile.

The boy looked left and right in the room, and after a while he walked around this room with no secrets.William looked at him quietly, and didn't pat the place beside him until his curiosity completely subsided, and said with a smile: "I've been crazy all the way, let's rest for a while."

Draco looked at the big bed in the middle of the room, and William, who was smiling at him on the trauma bed, slowly came over, hesitating a little before lying down: "Are we going to sleep together?"

"You didn't object just now, did you?" William pulled him to his side involuntarily, covered him with a blanket, and hugged him: "Have a good sleep."

Draco was still a little stiff at first, and then slowly fell asleep from the sleepiness, his body relaxed, and he got into William's arms, hugging him tightly like an octopus, and muttering What.William bent down and listened for a long time, his expression gradually became subtle.

at dusk.

The chirping of birds in the forest caused Draco to open his eyes in a daze. The room turned orange at some point. He took his arms back from William's body, turned his head sideways, and saw the sunset blurred by mountain fog outside the window.

William was still sitting on the bed, without changing his position at all.Seeing Draco wake up, he put down the book in his hand, looked at the boy thoughtfully, and suddenly asked, "Who is Noah?"

"A Swedish Brachysaurus." Draco replied reflexively, and then asked in a daze, "How do you know?"

William couldn't laugh or cry: "You hugged me after you fell asleep and kept calling me Noah."

Draco got up and changed his clothes, touched his nose uncomfortably: "Noah is still a magic pillow."

Ten minutes later, they left the room, walked through the long corridors of the castle, and followed the orange-red shadow of the setting sun to the dining room, where Allen was already waiting for them.

This man looked very thin, with a sickly pale complexion, but a pair of brown and black eyes were vast and deep, which made up for the weakness that his appearance gave him.

"Long time no see, my dear brother." He strode over and hugged William like an affectionate big brother.

William also hugged him back: "Long time no see, Alan."

Allen took a step back and turned to look at Draco: "This is Mr. Malfoy, welcome to Schiller Manor, I hope you like it here."

Draco shook hands with him politely, and praised the magnificence of Schiller's house politely, and the three sat down immediately.I don't know if Draco is overwhelmed. He always feels that there is a kind of urgency in Alan's eyes when he looks at him. This kind of urgency makes Alan's attitude towards him unexpectedly friendly, which is obviously more than that of a person in power in a big family. The attitude that another down-and-out patriarch should have.
