[HP] Don't talk to me

Chapter 5 Chapter Avoidance

Millie seemed to have entered a new world in Hogsmeade, looking left and right, breaking into all kinds of novel stores.

Today is Sunday, Hogwarts students can't come here, so there are quite few people. We followed Millie, all just smiling and watching. This place is all too familiar to me, Andrew, and even Snape, so it really doesn't mean much.

I bought Millie a giant chocolate ball and a big bag of chocolate frogs as presents at Honeydukes. When checking out, I was still ready to issue an IOU. Fortunately, I am an acquaintance with the clerk, so there is no need to be too embarrassed.Glad to see me again, she grabbed another handful of jelly slugs and put them in the leather bag.

But Snape held me down while signing, and pulled out his purse. "I'll buy it."

I looked at him in surprise, and he curled his lips and said, "What's wrong?"

I shook my head, and said to Millie, who was happily picking up a big bag of candy, "This time you have to thank your Grandpa Snape!"

"Oh, Grandpa Snape...why is it Grandpa...huh?" Millie was such a naive child, she was in a hurry to speak with half a chocolate frog stuffed in her mouth.

I smiled and said nothing, and walked out of the store first.

Unexpectedly, Snape followed, grabbed my hand on the side of the street, and pulled me to his chest, resting his chin on my forehead. It all happened so fast that I had no time to resist.

I was almost stunned, it was just for fun, why did he react so much?

"Who's Grandpa?" Snape whispered, "Don't be kidding me, I'm not old at all."

I raised my head angrily, the tip of my nose brushed his chin, and he glared at me fiercely.I heard his breathing become a little heavy, and I panicked.

"Yes, you are very young... very young. Now I am old, and... I am still disabled." After I finished speaking, I took advantage of the moment when he was in a daze, quickly broke free from his restraints, and stood aside. The Andrew family just came out of the store, hoping they didn't notice anything unusual.

I sat by myself at the village post office while I accompanied the Andrews to deliver letters.Snape stood far away and stared at me intently. He kept trying to come over, but I insisted on killing his desire with my eyes second after second.

I can't continue to be in contact with him like this, I can't stand it.I know he can't take it either. It's just that the guilt in his heart is causing trouble, so he is reluctant to let me go for a while. He is not guilty, after all, I am the one who made the choice.

Thoughts were flying, and I suddenly felt a faint pain in my heart spreading, spreading all over my body.

It suddenly occurred to me that I seemed to have lived a fixed life of using scorpion stones.According to the date, I was supposed to use it sometime in the evening after I was discharged from the hospital yesterday. But yesterday was so exhausting that I fell asleep in bed.Today was another day of tossing, and I didn't think about it at all.

I started to feel cold all over, and then shivered slightly. This symptom was very similar to when I fainted in St. Mungo's garden. I was really worried that I would reveal something in front of him, so I quickly got up and took a deep breath.

Millie had just finished mailing the postcards and came bouncing up and grabbing my arm.

"Aunt Tata, I have sent letters to several good friends. I guess they will be surprised to see it."

She laughed and stuffed a chocolate frog into my mouth.I chewed a few times, and a sweet taste poured into my throat, which really made me feel better.

"Is it tasty?"

I nodded feebly.

"Let's go to the Three Broomsticks to have something to eat at noon. Tata, I'll treat you this time." Andrew leaned over and said.

"Okay, I haven't had a drink for a long time, and I won't return today if I'm not drunk." I forced a smile. "Why don't you head back first? Are you not working?" I turned to look at Snape.

Snape pursed his lips. "New school rules, teachers are not allowed to drink alcohol unless they celebrate holidays." He looked at me carefully, and I immediately lowered my head to avoid his gaze.

"Then let's go eat." I didn't want to refute him, and I didn't want to think about whether this rule was just a random nonsense, but I obediently interfaced.

Andrew said with a little embarrassment: "Let's go with Principal Snape."

I didn't say anything more, as I acquiesced to the proposal, and then took Millie's little hand.

When the Three Broomsticks were seated, I pulled Millie to sit together. Unexpectedly, Snape also sat down cheekily, and Millie was sandwiched between us.

I could actually tell that Millie kind of liked Snape, because she immediately took Snape's arm.I twitched the corner of my mouth, a bit puzzled by the brain circuit of this little girl, how could she be so fond of this greasy old bat.Maybe she reads too many gossip magazines and thinks this guy is a hero.

Before the food came to the table, I drank two large glasses of water and immediately felt relieved.Although the pain spreading all over his body was still faint, he could still hold on.

Millie looked at me from the left and Snape from the right, and suddenly said: "I think you two are really good for each other!"

"Pfft!" I was drinking the third glass of water, so I couldn't hold back and spit it out, which happened to hit Andrew on the opposite side.

"Aunt Tata, don't you really like Headmaster Snape? I think he's very nice."

Millie is such a ghost. While helping me and her dad with tissues, she turned to Snape and asked, "Headmaster, do you like Aunt Tata?"

I immediately looked up alertly.

There was a cunning flash in Snape's eyes, he lowered his head and whispered something to Millie quietly, I didn't hear what he said even though I pricked up my ears.

Millie nodded to Snape, grinning.

I was baffled by these two people, as if something important was suddenly hidden from me, and I felt very awkward. When the food was on the table, while we were eating and chatting, Millie suddenly got down from our seat and went back to her parents.

I didn't have any appetite, so I only ate two bites of food.I don't know when, my hand under the table was caught by a warm little hand, and I realized that Millie got into the corner of the table again without taking a few bites, shaking my hand through the tablecloth, I saw Seeing Millie smiling happily, she had no choice but to shake her head helplessly.

But after a while, I felt Millie's small hand pulling me quietly, and then another big hand suddenly covered it and pinched my palm.

I am too familiar with this hand, rough and thick, with scars on the tiger's mouth...

I gave Snape a blank look, and wanted to tear it away, but unexpectedly, Snape didn't look at me at all, and ate quietly with his head down, but his hands were secretly clenched.

Millie came out from under the tablecloth across the way again, grabbed her fork and smiled sweetly at me.

The little traitor!Snape just said a few words and bought her off?

His fingers lightly rubbed the back of my hand, I silently withdrew my hand hard, but there was nothing I could do.

I was really dumbfounded and helpless.

I know for myself that my hands are always cold, but Snape's are warm.He slowly warmed my hand little by little, the warm feeling is actually... quite good.

After dinner, we got up and left.I was about to try to pull Snape's hand away again with both hands, but he let go quickly.

I twitched the corner of my mouth, feeling like I was being tricked.I used to play tricks on him, but now it's possible that because I went to the hospital, my combat effectiveness has become weaker?

Andrew said that they were going to the station to buy tickets and planned to go back.I sent them all the way to Hogsmeade Station, and while Andrew was at the ticket gate, I also checked the fare and calculated how long it would take to afford a long-distance ticket.

"After a while, I'll go to Georgia to see you." I kissed Millie and Martha hard, and hugged Andrew gently.

The train pulled into the station, and steam filled the edge of the platform.I couldn't stand for long, so I found a bench and sat down.

Millie was standing with her parents, but suddenly ran over. She tiptoed into my ear and said, "Aunt Tata, Headmaster Snape said he loves you."

I was taken aback, and the ghostly Millie had already run away again.Snape stood by the bench and looked down at me.I gritted my teeth and looked away.

The Andrews got into the car, and I got up and went to the window to say my last goodbyes.

"Tata...take care of yourself." Andrew asked softly, and I nodded obediently.

When the train faded away, I turned around.

Snape held out his hand and said, "I'll take you straight to Apparate back."

I shook my head and said, "I want to walk back slowly."

"Don't your legs feel uncomfortable? You haven't had a good rest these two days."

"You go back first, I'm not in a hurry, you will always arrive if you walk slowly."

"No! No discussion." He came up quickly and grabbed me.

At the door of Hogwarts, I pushed him away as soon as I landed. As a result, he didn't notice that his center of gravity was unstable, and the crutches were thrown away, and he sat down on the ground.

I was so angry that Snape wanted to come up, but I swung him away.

"Why are you always so assertive?" I yelled at him.

"How many people do you think will worry me so much?" He looked calm, as if my anger didn't affect him at all.

"Please don't worry about me!"

"Never...impossible." His tone was beyond doubt.

I still wanted to yell, but unexpectedly, I felt a convulsion in my chest as soon as I struggled to get up.The body that had been relieved for a while seemed to become uneasy along with the emotions.

I clutched my chest and began to gasp for breath.

Snape came close and hugged me violently, wrapping his arms around my shoulders. "What's the matter with you? Do you need to go to St. Mungo's?"

Snape's voice was erratic from far to near and from near to far.I grabbed his sleeve tightly, then moved my hand up, moved it to his collar with difficulty, grabbed it tightly, and then raised my voice to make sure my voice was normal.

"I want to go back to my room!"

I barely had the strength to speak any more, Snape hesitated, and picked me up horizontally. He walked quickly and hurriedly back to my room in the dungeon, where Snape put me on the bed and lit the candle with a flick of his wand.

I lay on my back and felt the tightness in my chest eased a little.Snape poured a glass of water and handed it to me.

I didn't drink, put the water beside the bed, and said softly: "You go out first, I'm going to rest."

"Are you all right? You're pale, and I thought I'd check to see if you fell..."

"My biggest problem is you." I tried to speak. "I was so angry with you that I even fell down. I wanted to use Avada right away."

Snape didn't seem to believe my words, he reached out and stroked my forehead.

"Walk."

"Why do you have to drive me away?"

"Don't talk, get out!" I turned my head and stopped looking at him.

The room was very quiet, and I heard Snape sigh softly, then turn, his robes brushing the floor, and hurried out of the room.

When the air was completely calm as if frozen, I slowly reached out and took out the pocket hidden under the bed board with difficulty.
