[HP Sirius] Sweet Potions

Chapter 049 This Is Not Confinement

After parting from Regulus, Erza came to Professor Mulligan's office and knocked on the door.

Soon, the door opened.

"Oh, Miss Green." Professor Mulligan, who appeared at the door, adjusted his glasses, as if trying to hide some uneasiness. But he didn't seem particularly surprised. "What's the matter with you?" he asked calmly.

"I have a question and I want to talk to you." Ersha said in a polite tone.

"Okay. Come in," he said, turning sideways.

Ursa walks into Professor Mulligan's office. She couldn't help being surprised, because his office was full of books, even some thick and old classics were piled on the sofa.

The only decorative thing in the room is a photograph hanging on the wall.

Unexpectedly, it was not a photo of Professor Mulligan's wife or children, but a photo of two men sitting side by side. One of them was obviously the much younger Professor Mulligan, and the other was older and looked very similar to Mulligan.Unlike the serious Professor Mulligan, the other man smiled and looked very friendly.

It looks like the two of them are like brothers.

"Sorry, I'm such a mess here," Professor Mulligan muttered under his breath. He removed the book from a chair, and pulled it in front of Ersa, "Please sit down, Miss Green."

"Thank you," Erza said.

Professor Mulligan sat down across from her.

He stared at Ersha intently, which made Ersha feel very uncomfortable.

She cleared her throat and decided to break the ice.

"Professor, today you—"

"You don't look much like your father. I guess you look more like your mother," said Professor Mulligan suddenly.

"What?" Ursa asked in surprise.

"I didn't recognize you at first." Professor Mulligan said with a sigh. "The surname Green is too common. I never thought you were the daughter of Nelson Green."

"You know my father?" Ursa was astonished.

"Yes, of course," said Professor Mulligan, with a rare smile on his face. "Your father and I are old friends. I have known your father since he worked for the Ministry of Magic."

"Oh, so it is," Erza murmured. She had only just learned that her father had worked for the Ministry of Magic not so long ago, so it was even less clear to her what kind of friends her father had had.

"Your father is a good man." Professor Mulligan continued, "It's the first time I've met someone who is so passionate about his work. Of course, I've heard that he has a daughter, but I didn't expect it to be you." His face There was a distinct smile on the face, "It seems that you have inherited your father's talent, Miss Green."

"Thank you. But you said that I don't look like my father, so how do you know that I am his daughter?" Ursa couldn't help asking.

"Oh." Professor Mulligan sighed. "Your father didn't want me to tell you."

"What does that mean?" Ursa asked immediately.

"Actually, I met your father yesterday - in Hogsmeade." He pushed his glasses and said a little uneasy.

"My father?"

"Yes. He told me you were not going to leave England with him," continued Professor Mulligan. "He said he was disappointed."

Erza stared at him in surprise. Her father actually told him such an important thing? It seems that their relationship is indeed much closer than she imagined.

"So can you tell me one thing?" Ursa asked suddenly.

"Please," Mulligan said.

"...You sent Lisa a bouquet of flowers this morning, right?" Ursa said after a moment of hesitation.

Professor Mulligan's eyes widened immediately. He quickly concealed the panic on his expression.

"No, you made a mistake," he said. "I didn't send any flowers."

Ersha swallowed, "But the therapist at St. Mungo's Hospital saw you."

Professor Mulligan pursed his lips and tapped the armrest of the chair with his fingertips, as if he was thinking about what to do.

"Then he must have read it wrong." He said firmly. He stood up suddenly, "It's getting late, Miss Green. I still have a bunch of papers to grade."

But Ursa didn't move.

"Why the yellow rose?" She took a deep breath and asked, "The yellow rose means to apologize. Why do you feel guilty?"

"This is ridiculous! I have no idea what you're talking about." Professor Mulligan replied deadpan.

Ursa forced herself to look into his eyes, hoping to find some clues, "...you know the attacker, don't you?"

Professor Mulligan stood up suddenly.

"Enough, stop looking into that!" he said a little irritably. "It's none of your business, Miss Green—I think you'd better go."

He walked quickly to the front of the office and opened the door.

Ursa knew she couldn't get anything out of him.

She stood up and walked out of Professor Mulligan's office with heavy steps.

After Ursa left, Professor Mulligan locked the door and sighed deeply.

"She knows." A young man's deep voice sounded in his office. But the strange thing is that there is no other person in the entire office except Professor Mulligan.

In the next second, a boy lifted off the invisibility cloak and appeared in the office out of thin air.He was tall and stocky, with long, thick black hair.If you look closely, he looks somewhat similar to Professor Mulligan, but he is stronger than the thin Mulligan.

"No, she doesn't know anything." Professor Mulligan said immediately, "Give me the Invisibility Cloak now."

But the young man didn't listen to him at all, but folded the invisibility cloak and put it in the pocket of his robe.

"What shall we do now, uncle?" said the young man, frowning. "If she really knows..."

"Then you will be imprisoned in Azkaban." Professor Mulligan replied coldly.

The young man clicked his tongue restlessly and folded his arms, "As I said, she overheard my conversation with the Black boys. And her mudblood dad who works in the Ministry of Magic, the old Fools are always against our people. The Dark Lord (thedarklord's human translation) has long wanted to make an example of others."

"For God's sake," Professor Mulligan groaned, "where the hell did you learn all that Dark Arts? From the Dark Lord?"

The young man snorted noncommittally, "Of course. Hogwarts never teaches anything really useful."

"I've prepared for you to retreat." Professor Mulligan sighed and said, "I have a friend who said he can provide you with a safe haven in Vietnam."

Hearing this, the young man raised his chin and looked at him contemptuously, "I have already said, I will not leave. The Dark Lord needs me."

After he finished speaking, he strode towards the door of the office.

"What he wants you to do will destroy you!" Professor Mulligan yelled after him, frowning. "Why can't you be like—"

"Why can't I be as good as my father, can I?" The young man suddenly turned his head and said coldly, "You have always thought of me as my father's shadow, and I am not him at all. He is a Quidditch star, but I'm the captain of the academy team that no one will notice." He suddenly showed a sneer, "Yes, I did let you down in the past. But now I have found what I really want to accomplish , no one can stop me."

After he finished speaking, he slammed the door open and left quickly.

Ersha stared intently at the guy who was sitting on her sofa, crossing his legs leisurely.

"You know you're here for detention, don't you?" she said.

Sirius grinned at her, "Take it easy, Erza, don't take it so seriously." Then he put a new disc on the record player.A few seconds later, a melodious violin music came from the record player.

Ursa sighed, "I don't understand why you would do that."

"Because I like violin music." Sirius shrugged and said, "Paganini is said to be one of the greatest Muggle violinists."

"No, I mean why did you put a Memory Charm on Stone?"

"Oh." Sirius was silent for a moment, twitching one corner of his mouth, "Because you don't like him?"

Of course Ursa knew Sirius wasn't telling the truth.

"It's fine if you don't want to tell me." She said a little angrily.

But Sirius didn't intend to explain further to her at all.He stood up and walked over to Ursa's desk.He bent down, put his elbows on Ersa's table, and looked at Ersa with dark gray eyes.

Ursa moved her lips, "You want to—" She was about to say "what do you want to do", but she couldn't finish the sentence.

Sirius suddenly lowered his head and kissed her lips. The soft and familiar touch made Ersha instantly forget that she was angry a few seconds ago.

"I'm sorry I can't tell you now," Sirius whispered, "because it concerns my friend. I can't tell anyone else about it without his permission."

Ursa wasn't angry anymore, but she couldn't help muttering, "I'm not some 'other'."

"Yeah, if you're willing to marry me, of course you don't count as 'others'." Sirius said with a teasing wink.

"Don't be stupid." Ursa couldn't help raising the corners of her lips, "I don't intend to marry you."

"You'll want it." Sirius said in a deliberately gentle tone, and then he kissed Ursa's lips again, and whispered hoarsely, "...now what shall we do?"

"Isn't it confinement?" Ersha murmured.

Sirius laughed softly.

"Yes, solitary confinement," he whispered, "then punish me, Miss Green."

A few seconds later, the two were already kissing together like glue.If Ursa is awake at the moment and can see this scene in the mirror, she will be so embarrassed that she wants to find a disappearing cabinet and get in.

She obviously wanted to put Sirius in confinement. But she had long since put that matter behind her.

——Let the damn Guan Confinement go to hell.she thought in a daze.
