[HP Sirius] Sweet Potions

Chapter 012 Deep in the Forbidden Forest

The twilight gradually became thicker, and the sunset glow burned half of the sky; the shore of the lake next to the castle was shrouded in a thick and warm mist, and a few students were walking along the path covered with fallen leaves.

Sirius was sitting under the tree by the lake, leaning lazily against the tree trunk, looking at the sparkling lake with ecstasy.

His friends - James, Remus and Peter - were sitting around him chatting away.

"Speaking of which, the full moon is coming soon." Remus said with a sudden sigh.

"Don't worry. We'll be with you, just like always." James said with a yawn, playing with a Snitch in one hand.

Sirius picked up a fallen leaf and casually observed the veins on the leaf against the setting sun, but he was thinking about another thing in his mind.

"What are you thinking, Padfoot?" James asked suddenly.

"I remembered some unpleasant things." Sirius threw away the fallen leaves and raised his arms to rest behind his head.

"What unpleasant thing?"

Sirius was silent for a moment, and then replied in a monotonous and flat voice: "That woman named Mona Faris persuaded my mother to expel me from the Black family when I was just in the first grade. She has been trying Convince my mother that I'm going to be a total evil in the future."

"Oh, that sounds awful, man," Remus said. .

Sirius shrugged indifferently, raised the corners of his mouth, and showed a relaxed smile, "To be honest, I think some of what she said made sense. I really don't fit in with that family. I knew that sooner or later I would will get out of there."

"But that doesn't take away from the fact that she's a total cow," interjected James. "You think she drove Miss Green away?"

"I don't know. But it sounds like something that woman would do." Sirius replied with a disgusted frown.

"I don't understand why she has to go against Miss Green." Remus said puzzled, "They don't look like they've known each other for a long time?"

Sirius was silent.Unbeknownst to his friends, the incident likely had something to do with his mother.

At this moment, there was a sound of messy and loud footsteps stepping on fallen leaves. They followed the sound, but saw two terrified boys stumbling out of the woods.

"That's Lovegood?" James asked, raising an eyebrow.

"That crazy Lovegood?" Sirius asked.

James patted the fallen leaves on his body and stood up. He waved at the two panicked guys and shouted, "Hey, what happened?"

"G-troll!" said Brown, pale. "We met a troll in the Forbidden Forest!"

"No, it's not a troll—it's a Sasquatch!" Lovegood corrected, panting beside him, but his face was no better than Brown's.

"What is Bigfoot?" Peter asked curiously.

"Don't listen to him." Brown gave Lovegood an annoyed look. "Damn it, if it wasn't for you, we wouldn't have this kind of thing—"

"By the way," said Lovegood, interrupting Brown suddenly, "where's Miss Green?"

Brown looked at him in panic, and the two boys looked back in the direction of the Forbidden Forest at the same time.

"I don't know," murmured Brown. "Isn't she following us?"

Lovegood turned his head and looked at Brown, covered his face in horror, "Oh no - we left her in the Forbidden Forest!"

"She'll die! She'll be killed by the troll!" cried Brown, his eyes wide.

At this time, Sirius suddenly strode over.He raised his hand and flicked each of them on the forehead, frowned impatiently and said, "Hey, calm down, idiot. Now, tell me, what happened?"

When Ersa woke up, she was lying flat on a pile of dry and floppy leaves.

She blinked, and suddenly found a face of a strange man looking down at her.She woke up suddenly, but found that she couldn't even move a finger.

"You almost died, human." The man said in a deep voice, "You fell into the hunter's trap and were stabbed by the poisonous arrows shot by the agency, but fortunately the antidote you carried was very effective—"

At this time, Ersha suddenly discovered that the lower body of the other party turned out to be a brown fur horse, and she was stunned.

"I remember that in your human etiquette, it is very impolite to stare at others." The other party said with some dissatisfaction.

"Uh...I'm sorry." Ersa said hoarsely, but she still couldn't help but stare at him firmly, "Are you a centaur?"

"Obviously." The centaur said indifferently.

"I'm sorry, but this is the first time I've seen a real centaur," Ursa said.

The other party stared at her silently for a while.

"You look familiar," he said, "but I'm sure I've never met you."

"Well... I think so," said Ursa, frowning.

"Do you know Anna? Anna Reid?" the centaur said suddenly.

"What?" Ursa was astonished. "She's my mother. You know my mother?"

The centaur let out a loud chuckle that sounded a little like a horse's whinny.

"Yes, I know it. We took a lot of effort to drive her out of the Forbidden Forest, but she will still come in to play when she has nothing to do, as if this is her garden."

Ursa could well imagine her mother taking a visit to the Forbidden Forest as an outing.

"Come on." The centaur said suddenly, "Come on my back, I'll carry you out."

He grabbed Ersa's arm and pulled her up from the ground.

Ersha lay on the centaur's smooth fur back, and tightly grabbed the fur on his back with the little strength she had just recovered.

"Relax, human girl." The centaur said disapprovingly, "You hurt me so much."

"Sorry." Ursa let go of her hand quickly, but accidentally slipped off his back and fell face down on the ground covered with fallen leaves.

The centaur stared at her embarrassed appearance, and asked suspiciously: "...Are you really Anna Reid's daughter?"

Suddenly, the centaur took a few steps back, vigilantly grasping the bow and arrow in his hand.

"What's wrong?" Erza asked nervously.

"I think your friend is looking for you," said the centaur, frowning. "I don't want to see other humans. Goodbye, Anna Read's daughter."

Ursa buried her face in the fallen leaves and dirt, listening with bated breath to everything around her.

She heard the centaur's hoofbeats fade away, and then the faint cries of humans. She vaguely recognized her name from the shout.

She took a deep breath and struggled to get up from the ground. She staggered and supported a tree beside her, and stumbled forward a few steps.

At this time, she saw a familiar figure appearing at the other end of the path.

"Miss Green!" The visitor shouted in surprise, and then rushed to her panting. He bent down to take a few breaths, then raised his head to look at her worriedly.Sweat from strenuous exercise oozed from his forehead, soaking the black hair on his temples. "Thank goodness, finally found you... are you okay?" he asked.

Ursa forced a weary smile, "Not bad."

Probably noticing that her expression was not quite right, Sirius frowned and asked, "Are you still able to walk?"

"I think it's all right." Erza replied hoarsely, and then tried to walk away from the tree trunk. But just two steps away, she knelt down on one knee on the ground covered with soft fallen leaves.

"You look terrible." Sirius quickly supported her and said, "Come on, let me help you."

She felt herself being hugged horizontally.

In fact, she had never been hugged like this by anyone, not even her father.Perhaps someone had held her tenderly when she was a baby, but unfortunately she had no such memory.

Thinking of this, she suddenly felt more nervous than when she was riding on the horseman just now.

She pursed her lips tightly and leaned stiffly in the arms of the young boy, not even daring to move a single finger.

Sirius lowered his head and glanced at her quickly, and said jokingly, "Have you been completely petrified? Don't be so nervous, Miss Green, I won't let go suddenly."

Ursa immediately felt extremely embarrassed. She moved a little and changed into a relatively comfortable position. She felt that her ears were pressed against a solid and warm chest, and the sound of the other's strong heartbeat came from her ears.

At this moment, Sirius suddenly lowered his eyelids and looked at Ersa.

"We'll be there in a minute. How do you feel now?"

Ersha stared blankly at the young and handsome face, and forgot to answer for a moment.

...well, the shape of his jaw seems to be quite nice.she thought in a daze.

Sirius suddenly raised the corner of his mouth and showed a bright smile, "By the way, you are much lighter than I imagined. You are not dieting to lose weight like those silly girls, are you?"

Erza shook her head slightly. She lowered her head, preventing herself from staring at him like a fool.

"Thank you for coming to me, Mr. Black," she said huskyly, in a tone that seemed to compliment his excellent thesis without any personal emotion.

"Then you have to give Gryffindor ten points." Sirius said in a cheerful tone.

Erza's hair has started to noticeably have a low-key, soft red.

"Of course I will." She smiled wearily.
