A meow and a dog
Chapter 18 Batman & After The Plan Leaked
Superman sighed and put his hand on Shadow's shoulder in the dark.
"Bruce, you don't have to."
The shadow moved its pointed ears, and the cold glove brushed against Superman's arm. "...Kal-El, state your purpose."
"Then tell me why you left early?"
Batman turned around and gave a curt nod. "I made the decision for you, Carl. What's your problem?"
"I, I know the uneasiness in your heart, but you are not even willing to give the alliance a little bit of trust?"
"If that's what you're talking about, Superman, get out of the Batcave before it's too late."
Superman frowned: "Bruce, you, you know..."
Batman turned sharply and looked into Superman's eyes: "You know what you're talking about? How dare you?"
Superman's expression looked painful and sad, but it was quickly covered by Superman.
"I thought..." He gave Batman a deep look, turned and flew out of the Batcave.
The black shadow stood for a long time under the flickering light.
Barry leaned back on the chair in the conference room, his eyes glazed over, and he pressed his fingers on the conference table boredly. Finally, he stood up irritably, turned into a gust of wind, and walked out of this dreary place.
Hal also stood up, glanced at the conference table with a gloomy expression, and walked out with his head bowed.
Diana seemed hesitant to speak, but she ended up saying nothing.Ying Nuo bit her lip and hammered on the table with her right hand.
The Martian Manhunter played with his finger silently, watching it become thin and long for a while, and short and thick for a while. He squinted at Superman, seeing the faint fatigue of that indestructible figure.
"I can't help it. I don't see the slightest reason to trust him," said Diana, her eyes on the floor.
"Then I have nothing to say." The Martian Manhunter turned his finger back to normal size. "If Diana has nothing to say, then neither do I."
Hawk Girl nodded: "Me too."
The three people who were sitting stood up together and walked out side by side.
Superman wanted to curse Fate in the most vicious words he'd ever heard, but those words scrambled in his mind for a long time, only to form a face that never seemed to smile.
"Damn it," said Superman.
"Bruce, do you really think you don't need an explanation?"
"They didn't have anything for me to explain. Those plans were indeed made by me."
"But you didn't want to use it, did you?"
"So where did that pink kryptonite(*1) come from, Carl?"
"He won't explain," Superman said, frustration mixed with a little anger.
The Flash sneered wryly. "I wouldn't expect that—who is he? He's Batman! Batman doesn't apologize to anyone."
Superman looked at Barry with pity: "You are blinded by anger, Flash, if, if you know..."
"That's it." Diana interrupted Superman, "That's it, we don't know anything about him, and he has already laid out so many plans quietly! Give it to this—a comrade-in-arms?"
"But, but..."
"There's no 'but,' Carl, it's a fact."
Superman closed his eyes.
"What if I convince him to explain?"
"We can't wait for you long, Carl."
Superman couldn't help laughing when he heard Batman grunt from his throat.
Batman was dealing with those files that seemed to never be finished, with his head buried in the computer screen, staring at the news of the Joker or the Riddler, digging out the hidden secrets from it, like a beast devouring secrets.
Superman suddenly felt frightened.
"Bruce, are you really letting things go like this?"
"The league is none of my business."
Superman looked at Batman with almost pity: "How can you be so sure?"
The man in black gloves stopped what he was doing.
"What do you want me to do?"
Batman calmly looked at his "long absence" teammates, and slightly turned his head towards Superman.
"What do you want to ask?"
The Flash was the first to stand up, his expression frozen in disgust and surprise, speaking so fast as if Batman were a villain.
"...why should I make this plan? I think the Superman should have told you. I don't think there's anything else to say." He replied curtly.
The Martian Manhunter looked into Batman's pupils with red eyes, and asked in a sad voice: "Then why don't you give a little bit of trust?"
Batman met the Martian Manhunter's eyes fearlessly and said, "I don't fight anyone I don't trust. As I said, that plan was a precaution."
"Just prevention?"
"Just prevention."
"I have nothing to ask." The Martian Manhunter took a step back in silence.
Wonder Woman took a deep breath: "Honestly, Batman, I don't know if I can trust you anymore, you know everything - I mean our characteristics, the secret identities of Flash, Green Lantern and Superman, you Find out? You think it's trivial, Batman? You're horrible. You don't even think so, yourself?"
Batman looked ahead without any fluctuations in his eyes: "So, you're right. I think it's all trivial."
Wonder Woman looked at Batman in disappointment, waved her hand, and stopped talking.
Green Lantern fiddled with the ring on his index finger and exhaled.
"Okay," he said, "it's never going to work out, but why don't you try to trust us a little more? You made Superman a pink kryptonite, he's your friend, and you just So easy? Tomorrow, will you cut off the Flash's foot or build a yellow light ring yourself?"
"I need to think thoroughly. If one day, you abandon humans and use your superpowers to humans, how can we defend ourselves?"
"B..."
"Oh, of course." Batman turned his head to look at Superman, "You think this is unnecessary, but what if you are controlled by someone?
"Is there anyone on earth who can disobey you?"
"And you, Batman? What if you lose control? How can we prevent you?" Green Lantern said, eyes narrowed, staring at Batman.
Batman didn't care about Green Lantern's gaze. The knight breathed out: "If you think so—" He took off his headgear in surprise (*2)——
"Bruce Wayne."
The author has something to say:
(*1) Pink kryptonite can make Superman's skin transparent, allowing the solar energy that supports Superman's ability to burn directly, and tormenting Superman's muscles and senses.
(*2) This seems to be an official stalk? But Su hasn’t read it, so this chapter is completely original by someone, whoever read the elements remember to send the address to someone~ (It’s muddy!)
The plot is roughly that Master Ninja, the one in the comics, stole Batman’s backup plan (for the Justice League), and then dismissed Batman, and implemented it against the rest of the Justice League. Finally, the daughter of Master Ninja betrayed Her father, causing the plan to fail.Because of this, the Justice League became dissatisfied with Batman, and voted on his stay, with a three-to-three tie (*1), leaving only one vote for Superman, but in the end Batman left alone when there was no conclusion.
The above is the plot of the comics, but the Green Lantern in the comics is not Hal Jordan, and the Flash is not Barry, but Wally, but the Green Lanterns in a certain article are still Hal and Barry ← Laziness has committed QAQ again
Note: The Justice League camp in the comics is: Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Sea Walker (or Aquaman?), Plastic Man.
