Harry Potter and the Way of Reason

Chapter 31 Collective Action Part 2

aftermath:

Harry paced back and forth in his manager's office, a room that was perfect for pacing, in fact Harry didn't know what else to do with it.

How can it be?

How can it be?

Hermione shouldn't have won this battle! It was her first attempt, and there was no violence in her personality, and it was unreasonable that, on top of all her other accomplishments, she would be a good military commander for no reason at all.

Had she read that tactic in some military history tome? But it wasn't a matter of a single strategy at all, she perfectly blocked any possible escape route, and her soldiers cooperated far better than his or Draco's soldiers.

Could it be that Professor Quirrell broke his promise to help her?Provided her with something like General Tucker Tix's journal? [1]

There was one thing Harry had overlooked, a very important one, and he thought it over and still couldn't figure it out.

Harry finally sighed. He can't figure it out, and he has to learn the Spiral Breakthrough Curse from Hermione or someone else before the next game-Professor Quirrell reminded Harry jokingly but warningly: "Except I send you No magic item other than your own" This prohibition also includes Muggle technology, no matter how non-magical they may actually be.Besides, Harry had to figure out how to deal with Goyle...

If you are a general, the battle results will be worth a lot of Quirrell points. If you want to win the chance to make a wish to Professor Quirrell at Christmas, Harry must hurry up and act.

Malfoy stared forward in his Slytherin private room, as if the wall in front of his desk was the most attractive surface in the world.

How can it be?

How can it be?

In retrospect, a cunning tactic should have been executed like that, but Granger "shouldn't" be a cunning man!She was such a Hufflepuff that she couldn't even cast simple offensive spells. [3] Could it be that Professor Quirrell ignored his promise to help her?still……

And then Draco finally did what he should have done.

What he should have done the first time he met Granger.

What Harry Potter made him do, worked hard to train him to do, but Harry also warned Draco that it would take a while for his brain to realize that these methods could be applied in real life, and Draco Coe didn't understand until today. He could have avoided every mistake he had made if he had applied what Harry had told him.

Draco yelled, "I find I'm confused."

One of your strengths as a rationalist is that fiction confuses you more than reality.

Draco was confused.

So, some of the things he once believed were actually unreal.

Granger shouldn't be able to do all those things.

So it's likely not all her doing.

I promise not to provide General Granger with any help that you don't know about.

Enlightened, Draco swept the paper away, rummaged through the mess on the table, and finally found it.

that's it.

The answer lies in the personnel and equipment lists of the three teams.

Damn Professor Quirrell!

Draco had seen the list, but he didn't see—

The afternoon sun poured into the office of the Sun Corps. General Granger sat on a chair, bathed in the light, surrounded by a golden halo.

"How long do you think Malfoy will find out?" General Granger asked.

"Not long," said Colonel Blaise Zabini. "He may have found out. How soon will Potter find out?"

"Won't ever find out," said General Granger, "unless Malfoy told him, or one of his own soldiers realized the problem. Harry Potter never thought like that."

"Really?" said Captain Ernie MacMillan, sitting at a nearby corner table, playing chess with Captain Ron Weasley, being completely abused. (They moved all the chairs back after Malfoy left) "I mean obviously, who's trying to figure out all the strategies by themselves?"

"Harry," said Hermione, and Zabini said at the same time, "Malfoy."

"Malfoy thinks he's better than everyone," Zabini added.

"And Harry...he doesn't think of people that much."

Pretty sad actually.Harry grew up lonely. Not that he proclaims all day long that only geniuses have the right to exist. It's that it never occurred to him that anyone in Hermione's army besides Hermione could come up with a clever idea.

"Anyway," said Hermione, "Captain Goldstein and Weasley, you are in charge of thinking about our strategy for the next battle. Captain McMillan and Susan - oh sorry I meant McMillan and Burns —You guys try to think about what tactics we can use, and what you think we should be training. Oh yes, you made a great march, Captain Goldstein, and I think it's great for morale."

"What are you doing?" Susan asked. "And Colonel Zabini?"

Hermione stood up from her chair and stretched, "I'm going to find out what Harry Potter is thinking, Colonel Zabini will go and see what Draco Malfoy will do, we I'll come back to you guys when I figure it out. I'm going for a walk and thinking about it. Zabini, are you coming?"

"Yes, General," Zabini replied stiffly.

That was not an order.Hermione sighed secretly. It took a little getting used to, and while Zabini's first idea did work well, she wasn't sure that what Professor Quirrell called "a combination of positive and negative incentives" would be enough to keep this Slytherin alive until ten. She was on her side until February - when traitors would be allowed in battle for the first time.

She hasn't decided what to wish Professor Quirrell for Christmas yet.Maybe then, she'll ask Mandy what she wants.
