William opened his eyes to find Jacob looking at him.

It was the first time I saw Jacob have such eyes.

The eyes are strange and embarrassing.

The Hound came running in, barking at them both.

"This dog is really interesting." Jacob said with a smile.

"You're so stupid, Barry doesn't know me anymore." William rolled up Jacob's flaxen hair with his hands.

There was a moment of unnaturalness on Jacob's face, and soon he also laughed, and put his arms around William's waist:
