[HP] End of Death

Chapter 51 Item 3

The end of the term is approaching, and both Ron and Hermione are starting to prepare for the final exam.Harry doesn't have to take exams due to his participation in the Triwizard Tournament, but he sits in the back of the classroom every exam, looking for spells for the third item.

And Draco also sat at the back of the classroom, sometimes squeezed next to him, but because of the presence of other students, there was not much language communication between them.As for whether there is physical communication, only the two of them know.

The exam this morning was History of Magic. Harry, Ron, and Hermione were sitting in the auditorium having breakfast. Professor McGonagall walked towards them: "Potter, the warriors will gather in the conference room next to the auditorium after breakfast." .”

"But the game doesn't start until night!" Harry said in surprise.

"I know, Potter," said Professor McGonagall, "the relatives of the warriors have been invited to watch the finals, and you can meet."

Harry sat there in a daze, and he asked Ron, "They don't think the Dursleys will come?"

Ron shook his head: "I don't know, Harry, I have to go to the exam, see you later."

The auditorium gradually became deserted, and everyone hurried to the exam.Harry saw Fleur get up from the Ravenclaw table and head for the council room. After a while, Krum also went leisurely.Harry sat without moving. He had no relatives, and no one was coming to see him.

"Potter, why don't you go?" A person came from behind and patted him on the shoulder, "Are you waiting for me while you're sitting here?"

Harry stood up reluctantly, glanced back at Draco, and whispered, "I don't think anyone will come to see me."

Draco was noncommittal: "You will know when you go."

They walked through the hall together, opened the door and walked into the conference room.Krum was speaking fast Bulgarian to his parents in the corner of the room, and Fleur was chatting non-stop in French with her mother, whose little sister Gabriel was holding her hand, seeing Harry and Della Cor came in and smiled at them.

Harry soon saw Draco's parents - Lucius was standing by the wall chatting with Mr. Bagman, and Narcissa was next to him with a small bag, she saw them at a glance.Draco walked quickly past Harry towards her, and Harry watched as he hugged Narcissa, smiling and talking to her.Lucius glanced down at him, patted his head and continued talking to Mr. Bagman.

"Harry!" a familiar voice called him, Harry turned his head, and Mrs Weasley and Bill were standing by the fireplace looking at him with smiles.

"Didn't expect that!" Mrs. Weasley greeted him enthusiastically, "We want to watch you play, Harry!"

"How are you?" Bill smiled, shaking Harry's hand. "Charlie wanted to come too, but he couldn't go away. He said your fight with the Horntail was too good to be true."

Harry noticed Fleur staring curiously at Bill over her mother's shoulder, who didn't seem to have the slightest aversion to long hair and fanged earrings.

"That's nice of you," Harry said softly. "I thought it was Dursley."

They walked towards the door leading to the auditorium, and when they passed by Lucius and the others, he turned his head to take a look, and unexpectedly turned back without saying anything.

When the three of them were about to walk out of the meeting room, Harry turned his head and saw Draco staring at him from the side. He made a grimace after meeting his eyes, and turned back to continue talking to Lucius.

Harry, Bill and Mrs Weasley while away the afternoon walking around the castle. They recalled the past when they were studying at Hogwarts. Mrs. Weasley said that she had dated Mr. Weasley until four o'clock in the morning, and was scolded by the fat lady when she came back.

"It's good to be back," Bill sighed. "I haven't seen this place in five years. But nothing seems to have changed."

They went back to the Great Hall for dinner, and there was plenty of food on the table, but Harry had no appetite. He began to be nervous again, anxious, and his stomach hurt a little.

The enchanted ceiling gradually changed from orange-red glow to purple-blue starry sky. Dumbledore stood up from the teacher's seat and clapped his hands, so everyone fell silent.

"Ladies and gentlemen, in five minutes we're going to invite you all to the Quidditch pitch for the final event of the Triwizard Tournament. Now, brave men and Mr. Bagman, to the stadium."

Harry stood up, the Gryffindors applauded him, the Weasleys and Hermione wished him good luck, and he, Draco, Fleur, and Krum walked towards the Quidditch pitch.

"We will patrol outside the maze," Professor McGonagall said to the warriors, "if you are in danger and want to be rescued, just shoot red sparks into the sky, and we will have someone to help you, understand?"

The warriors nodded. After Mr. Bagman announced the current score, they walked into the maze one by one with the whistle.

The labyrinth was shaded by tall, dark hedges, with narrow paths outlined. The field of vision is not clear, only the scene ten meters away can be seen clearly, no matter how far away the place is blocked by the black fog, it is cloudy.

Harry traveled unimpeded all the way, and soon reached the third intersection. As the sky gradually darkened, he put his wand flat on his palm and said softly, "Show me the way."

The tip of the staff flickered, and it spun around to point to the hedge to his right. It was north, and Harry knew the center of the maze was to the northwest, and the best thing to do was to take the hedge on the left and turn right as quickly as possible. He walked quickly into the hedge on the left, passed a fork, and there was still no obstacle, which made him a little flustered, as if the maze was bewildering him with its calm appearance.

Suddenly, there was a loud noise from behind, and Harry quickly turned around holding his wand, only to see a bright red light shining there, and a person running towards him against the light.

"Hagrid's snails...that idiot shouldn't have kept them in the forest!" Draco said as he ran to him, paler than ever, smoking from his sleeves .

"You're not allowed to call Hagrid an idiot, Malfoy." Harry patted his smoking sleeve, who was panting slightly, his eyes narrowed, and his neck was covered in sweat.

"You seem to be doing well." Draco raised his eyebrows and straightened up. He turned and walked to another fork, waving at him, "I'm leaving, Potter."

"Good luck."

Draco wiped his sweat, squeezed the wand in his hand, and strode into the fork. The whole place was under a spell, and he didn't feel stuffy. But there was no wind, and it was eerily silent, except for the sound of my own footsteps.

He turned the corner, and not far away was a cloud of golden mist, like a floating golden gauze in the moonlight. He stared at it for a while, pointed at it with his wand, and his gray pupils flashed red for a moment: "The clouds disappear!"

A cyan light shot out from the tip of the staff, rushing into the mist and smashing it into pieces.Clouds of gold billowed past the sides, and Draco retracted his wand and passed calmly through the middle, his robes fluttering behind him.

"Ah——" There was a terrible scream not far away, piercing the silent night sky.Draco raised his head and frowned: "Fleur?"

He walked forward quickly, at first just picking up his pace, and finally he broke into a run, and quickly rushed down the passage. He had just turned a corner when a figure suddenly rushed out from the right and collided with him.

The man was much bigger and taller than he was, and the impact knocked him three meters away. Draco's back hit the hedge directly, and the twigs sticking out of his robe torn.

He was in so much pain that tears flowed out, and his back throbbed like a broken back.Draco put one hand on the ground and was about to struggle to stand up when he saw a wand stretched out in front of him.

He raised his head, facing Krum's out-of-focus eyes.

"……what are you going to do?"

The boy ignored him, moved his lips, and uttered a cold spell: "Crucio!"

The red light poured straight into his forehead, as if all the nerves had been twisted, Draco couldn't hold himself up and fell to the ground. He curled up into a ball and rolled, screaming non-stop. The piercing pain spreading from his temples, palms, and soles of his feet made him almost go crazy. He could barely hear the sounds around him, and he didn't know what happened. He only felt that something was shaking beside him, and then there was a high-pitched and familiar "fainting"...

The severe pain gradually subsided, and he lay on the ground gasping for breath, covering his wrinkled face with his hands.

A person squatted down next to him, and he lifted his upper body with a little force, letting him lean against himself.Draco slowly opened his eyes, he gradually let go of his hands, and suddenly hugged the person next to him tightly, and buried his head in his arms.

Harry was a little caught off guard, he seemed to see his face stained with tears, and his heart ached terribly. He leaned down close to him, stroking his hair lightly.

Draco finally calmed down his emotions, wiped away the tears on his face, and stood up.

"Malfoy, are you okay?" Harry looked at him carefully, his face was as white as a piece of paper, and his eyes were still red.Draco shook his head, glanced at the unconscious Krum lying on the ground, his voice hoarse: "It's okay... I'm fine. I can't believe it... I bumped into him, and then he pointed his wand at me. "His body was still shaking.

"It's unbelievable..." Harry gasped. "Did you hear Fleur's scream?"

"I heard." Draco straightened his scratched hair, "You didn't meet him, Potter?"

"No." Harry shook his head. In fact, he basically didn't encounter too many difficulties along the way. "I think we should... um... send a signal, otherwise he might be eaten by the snail."

Draco nodded reluctantly, raised his wand and shot a string of red sparks into the air.Sparks floated in the air, marking Krum's location.
