"Your crush is at it again," Christian's buddy Sean Wyatt tells him.

Christian chuckled and said, "He's not my crush."

"Okay, so how do you know who I'm talking about?"

Christian glanced in the direction of Alexander, who was leaning against the wall, ignoring the students around him.As always, he still looks like that flawless high mountain flower, unapproachable, incomparably noble, several ranks higher than the mortals around him.He was probably waiting for Mira again—that was why he was at the university, after all.

"I don't actually like him anymore," Christian said. "It was just a little bit of liking, but now it's gone."

Sean rolled his eyes.

"I mean it. Sure, I used to like him a little bit—who doesn't? But now that I've talked to him and gotten to know him a little bit, it's over, and I mean it."

Sean gave him a curious look, then grinned knowingly. "His one is small or something?"

Christian sneered and pushed him. "Oh, come on, I'm not that superficial! No, his dick is as perfect as his whole body. That's the problem."

"So you don't like him because he has a perfect dick?"

Christian snorted. "No." He glanced at Alexander again, but couldn't help but stare at him dreamily. The man took "tall, dark, and handsome" to new heights, and his dark blue eyes were unmatched.Too bad though, the guy is a weirdo, a weirdo with a girlfriend. "There's something wrong with him, he's so perfect."

"Too perfect?"

"Yeah. I'm not talking about his looks, I'm talking about his personality. Sure, he has some eccentricities, but other than that he's so fucking calm, upright, rational and... perfect. His face It’s not scientific to say anything.”

"There is such a man. I told you, he is too serious."

"No," Christian retorted, shaking his head. "He looks like he's wearing a mask, you know? Every emotional reaction is planned and controlled. I don't know how to put it... He's so weird it gives me the creeps."

Sean examined Alexander carefully. "He doesn't look like a pervert."

"Sounds to the point," agrees Christian. "He looks like a goddamn goddamn romance novel: handsome and sexy, with a nice car and house and an amazing girlfriend. He's obviously rich too. He's the perfect, caring boyfriend— I mean, he picks her up almost every day! And ignores other girls next to him who are constantly trying to get his attention. I'm pretty sure he only wants to have a 3some just to please his girlfriend. Because his boyfriend does it Perfect enough."

"Please don't say the word 'perfect'. My head hurts."

Christian laughed. "Sorry. But his perfection pissed me off. Such perfection is fake. I guarantee it."

"How are you so sure?" Sean asked.

"Because his disguise dropped several times that day," Christie whispered, looking at Alexander. He shivered, remembering the momentary wildness beneath the calm surface that day. "He's not what he appears to be, trust me. I'm good at reading people, you know."

"Whatever." Sean patted him on the shoulder. "I'm glad you turned the page. It's never a good idea to like straight guys."

Christian nodded, but still decided not to tell Sean. In fact, he was not sure whether Alexander was 100% straight.Of course, he couldn't prove it.Alexander may have gone to the bottom, and his own affection for this guy may have clouded his judgment. It was okay if Alexander was a little attracted to him.Christian is neither blind nor naive. He knows the power he has over people; even outright straight guys will often stare at his smile. It's kind of funny, and Christian has never been shy about using it when the need arises.Hey, it's not his fault that most people like him!

Although he was sure that Alexander Sheldon didn't like him at all.

Christian looked at Alexander again. He stood there alone, checking his watch now and then, obviously waiting for Mira.

"I'm going over to say hello," Christian said. "It would be rude not to, wouldn't it?"

"Chris," Sean called out disapprovingly.

Christian grinned at his friend. "What? I'm bored! Go and make out with Professor Rutledge while I'm gone."

"Stop it!" Sean hissed, looking around worriedly. He's cute when he's nervous.

Christian smiled and shook his head and walked away. He'd never understand why his friend was having an affair with the most hated professor on campus, and anyway, he wasn't in a position to comment.

"Hey Chris!" a girl greeted him.

"Hey," he murmured back, grinning, and walked away quickly, pretending to be busy so she wouldn't stop him from talking. She seemed like a nice girl, but he wasn't sure he remembered her name.To be honest, his memory is terrible, and he knows too many people.

"Hey Christian!"

"Hi Chris!"

"Hey!" He responded with a smile and quickened his pace. His eyes were glued to Alexander's body, so he noticed when the other party found him.His face was still calm, but his posture had changed a little, though Christian couldn't figure out exactly where.

"Hey," Christian said, pausing not far from him.He could feel that Alexander didn't like people getting too close, but he still looked normal.Of course, he was always so calm.

"Hello," Alexander glanced at him coldly.

"Waiting for Mira?"

Alexander nodded, but said nothing.

"It's a small world, isn't it?" Christian said, throwing his arms around the man's shoulders, thinking they were old acquaintances.

Yes, that's it: he felt Alexander's body stiffen with tension.

Alexander stared straight ahead expressionlessly. "I don't think so. You are also studying in this university." His tone was indifferent, as if the air between the two had no temperature.

"I have a strange feeling that you don't like me." Christian said pretending to be hurt.

Alexander turned to look at him.

Christian licked his lips.Oh shit. Those eyes were impossibly blue.Almost violet.

"Don't you know what 'private space' means?" There was a hint of anger in Alexander's voice.

"What private space?" Christian smiled teasingly. He moved his hand, gently stroking Alexander's neck, touching the warm skin.

"That's your problem," Alexander's body tensed even more. "Which game are you playing?"

Christian put on an innocent look as he lightly rubbed the back of Alexander's neck with his manicured nails. "I do not understand what you're saying."

Alexander gave him a dangerous look, the pretense of calm crumbling a bit.

Christian felt a surge of excitement, looked at Alexander through his eyelashes, and smiled.

"You're so gay," Alexander said after a while.

"Thanks for the compliment," Christian looked back fearlessly.

Alexander gave a short laugh and shook his head. "Stop it. It won't work for me."

"what?"

"This, flirting, confuses me. Whatever you're doing."

Christian laughed. "You think I'm flirting with you? I think some people are trying to be romantic."

Alexander put his hands in his trouser pockets. "I'm not a newborn. You're bisexual and you're giving me these—that look. Sorry, I'm not interested."

"Hmm, he is indeed an egomaniac." Christian replied with a smile. "Sorry to disappoint you, but I'm so 'flirty' with everyone. That's my way of life. Not all of us are so bitter and cold. You haven't seen my true flirt yet."

Alexander glanced suspiciously.

Christian nodded and said seriously, "I get it: it's really hard to accept the fact that you're not special."

"Does that mean you're so hands-on with everyone?"

"How to put it, I am a very emotional person." Christian stroked Alexander's neck with his fingers. "Well, it's not a hands-on move at all."

"Then what is this?" Alexander said through gritted teeth.

Christian leaned forward until their lips were close to each other. "I was kidding with you," he whispered, his lips almost brushing Alexander's.almost.He felt Alexander's body tense like a string about to snap.

Christian steps back, a little out of breath, and winks at him. "Say hi to Mira for me."
