Harry measured the distance between him and Adam - they shouldn't be so far apart - before focusing his eyes on Adam's face.He couldn't see what Adam was thinking.

Adam cherishes words like gold: "Say."

Harry bit his lip.

Adam's gaze flicked to his mouth for a moment, then back into his eyes. "I'm waiting."

"I don't know what to say," Harry said hesitantly.

"Just tell the truth." Adam answered succinctly.

If he could have been honest with Adam, he would have done so.

Adam understood his painful expression and sneered. "Okay." He raked his hair with one hand and turned away, tensing his shoulders and back in frustration.

"Your real name is Harry?" he finally asked.

Harry's heart skipped a beat. "Yes." Harry was his name anyway. Now even his parents and best friends call him "Harry".

"There's no such thing as Harry Karuviennan," Adam said dryly.

Harry's heart sank.It appears that Adam has discovered that his passport is forged.

"Would you mind explaining?" Adam said. "Obviously, you don't exist." Harry didn't respond, and Adam laughed. "You've been lying to me?"

"I didn't!" Harry stepped forward. He wished he'd told Adam all about it, but he and Sean were already in serious trouble for unauthorized visits to the ex-TNIT planets, and if they broke more of the law, no matter how noble they were, they couldn't get away with it.Nothing could be hidden from the Department of Intergalactic Affairs: there were some "darvas" - a species with lie detector abilities - working in the Ministry, and if Harry tried to lie, they would be sure to find out.

"Your passport is fake, Harry."

"Yeah, but... I swear, I'm not a criminal or anything! I just can't reveal my real name here."

Adam fell silent, still turning his back to him.

"Please, trust me." Harry walked up to Adam, tentatively touching his arm.

"No," Adam snapped. "I can't fucking think about anything when you touch me."

Sighing, Harry put his cheek against Adam's back and murmured, "If only I could tell you the truth, but I can't. It's a big deal, and it can't be all because of me or ours." Uncover. If I told you, I would be violating international law, and more than one."

Adam laughed harshly. "Sounds like you sound like a secret agent in a bad spy movie."

Harry smiled. "If I were a secret agent, I would definitely not do well."

Adam let out a long sigh, and his muscles relaxed a little. "You gotta tell me something, Habbo."

"I left because my parents came to pick me up. They didn't give me time to say goodbye. I tried to convince them to let me talk to you, but it didn't work."

"So you're home all this time?" Adam asked.

"Correct."

"Accompany your fiancee." Adam's tone was calm.

Harry frowned. "No, she's not here, she's at boarding school."

silence.

Finally, Adam turned around. He looked into Harry's eyes and asked, "Is she still your fiancée?"

Harry's breath was stuck in his throat. He hesitated, not knowing how to answer—he wasn't sure what the answer was.For one thing, their bond was gone; for another, he hadn't spoken to Raylan 'Heaney' Gul.He felt it inappropriate to answer Adam's question directly with "no" before they discussed the matter. Not to mention that his parents signed a legally binding marriage contract for him.Even without the bond, he is still legally free.

Harry shrugged slightly.

There was a glint in Adam's eyes. "Why did you come back, Harry?"

"I...I miss you." Harry didn't understand what he meant, and was a little shy.Isn't that obvious enough? He already said it.

"But you still have a fiancée at home." Adam's tone contained some extremely unbearable emotions, even though Harry tightened his spirit shield, he could almost feel his malice. "You have a fiancee who still misses me, don't you feel uneasy about your conscience?"

"Not what you think," said Harry hesitantly. "You do not understand."

"That's right," Adam said. "I don't understand. I don't know who you are or why you're here. Do you know what the worst part is?" He hewed without smiling. "There's a part of me that just doesn't care. I want to keep you, with all your lies and half-truths." He lowered his head, bringing their foreheads together, and cupped Harry's face in his hands. "What the hell did you do to me? I should have kicked you out of the way. I should have called the police. I shouldn't want you anymore."

Harry barely caught Adam's words. The warm current rushed to his limbs, it was extremely sweet. After months of separation, he was thrilled to be so close to Adam.

"You're shaking," Adam's fingers caressed Harry's cheeks and neck, each touch triggering shudders. "Look at you," Adam's voice was a little excited, "how can you tell me to believe that you have a fiancée? You are mine."

Harry lost all language. He leans toward Adam's touch, he needs—

"No," Adam whispered in his ear.His breathing was rough and rapid. "Not yet. Your friend is still waiting for us in the living room." He took his hands away from Harry and stepped back.

Harry looked at him longingly. Then he understood Adam's words.correct.Sheen.He had completely forgotten about Sean.

Adam stuffed his hands into the pockets of his sweatpants. "Speaking of your friends," he cleared his throat slightly. He looked furious, but Harry had only to look down to see him adjusting the bulge in the middle of his trousers.

Harry licked his lips. "What happened to Sean?"

"What's he doing?" Adam asked.

"Sean helped me escape from the house," Harry said without thinking. His mind was still clouded with desire.

Adam gave him a strange look. "You escaped from home? Why did you need to escape?" He suddenly froze and his eyes became colder. "Harry, your family ... abused you?"

"No!" Harry denied immediately. "My parents were just... traditional. They wanted me to marry my fiancée, and I didn't want to." Harry looked down, then peeked at Adam from under his eyelashes. "I want to be with you for as long as I can. Will you?"

A look of struggle flashed across Adam's face.

"As long as you can stay?" he repeated deadpan.

Harry flinched, but he had made up his mind to be honest on this point. "I wanted to stay, but..." Sean's friend removed the original identification chips from them and implanted temporary ones so that only he could contact them and teleport them home if they wanted to. words at home.Sean used this precaution well. But that doesn't mean others can't find them at all.

"That's all I can tell you." Harry looked Adam straight in the eye. "I know it's not enough. I can understand if you don't trust me anymore. If you want me to leave, I will."

Adam gritted his teeth. He glared at Harry, and then, abruptly, pulled Harry towards him.He bent down and sucked hard on Harry's neck, his lips hot and possessive.

"You're not allowed to go anywhere." He finished hoarsely and walked out of the room.

Harry watched him over his shoulder, breathless.
