Rainy day

Chapter 1 Wedges

"It's been so many years, I still can't figure it out." He extinguished the cigarette in his hand, and said to himself, "It rained so hard that day, after all, it still couldn't trap you."

"It's useless to talk about it now, we're all doing well, aren't we?" The other party was still the same, and he was speechless with just one sentence.

"Oh, yes," he replied awkwardly, the light in his eyes dimmed.

The person in front of him has nothing to do with him.

The rain outside the window seemed to be getting heavier, and it fell on the edge of the window with a "click, click" sound. He turned his head and looked out of the window, and his memory returned to the rainy day many years ago.
