[HP] Hogwarts Muggle University

Chapter 2 James' College Day 1

When James pushed the car sleepily to the exit hall of the airport, he saw the person holding the "Hogwarts University" sign at a glance.

This must be the student responsible for picking up the airport.James perked up immediately. He hurriedly took off his glasses, took a few breaths and wiped them on the T-shirt, then combed his hair against the phone screen at the speed of light, and finally carefully checked whether his whole body was neat——

"Hi, buddy." James triumphantly walked towards the student with steady steps, "Have you had a good summer vacation?"

The senior with dark circles pushed his glasses: "What's your name?"

James: "..."

Are people so indifferent now?

"I've been standing here all day, brother," Arthur explained desperately.

"James Potter. You've worked hard." James looked at him sympathetically. "How are we going to school now?"

"There's a school bus outside." Arthur crossed James' name off the list, "Okay, you were the last one here, we can go back."

James felt the need to explain: "The plane was an hour late."

However, the exhausted Arthur didn't answer his words. He waved his hand to signal James to follow him out of the terminal. A black SUV with "Hogwarts" written on it was parked on the side of the road. Arthur opened the trunk, James struggled to lift the first box into the already crowded trunk, the girl in the driver's seat opened the door and ran over to help, while Arthur picked up the smallest box——

"This is quite heavy." James hurriedly reminded, but it was too late:

"Ah!" Arthur let out a short scream.

"Oh..." The driver girl lamented again and again, "Arthur, you can do it, come on."

"Yes I can, my dream is to compete in the Olympics - hi!"

At the same time James noticed that Arthur's ears were red.

"What did you stuff in here?" Arthur asked him.

"Two dumbbells," James said honestly.

"What's your name?" Arthur closed the trunk and stared at him, "James Potter?"

James suddenly felt a chill down his back.

Arthur sat in the co-pilot, and James found that there were already three people in the car: a red-haired girl, and two black-haired boys with completely opposite styles.

He keenly noticed that the red-haired girl was pretty good-looking, but unfortunately she seemed to be distracted as she turned her face out of the window. .

"Hi, hello." James greeted enthusiastically, trying to get her attention, but no one answered him.James sat down and closed the door cheekily. He noticed that the black-haired boy next to him was quietly looking at him out of the corner of his eye. Jim, James Potter. What's your name?"

"James Potter?" The black-haired boy raised his eyebrows and said meaningfully, "I'm your roommate."

James was stunned for a moment, and then quickly realized: "This is really - it's a fate to meet a thousand miles away!"

The black-haired boy gave him a strange look, then turned his head to look at the scenery outside the window.

"I didn't mean to tease you." James quickly clarified, "Don't think too much."

"Cough..." Arthur cleared his throat in the silence and began to liven up the atmosphere, "So, what do you all want to learn in the future? Well... Ladies should be given priority."

Only then did James have the opportunity to turn his head to look at the red-haired girl in the back seat. Her eye circles were still a little red, obviously she had just cried.Although she looked very much to James' liking, he actually looked down on this kind of behavior that started crying after a few hours away from home. The girl smiled awkwardly and replied nervously: "I haven't made up my mind yet." .”

"You should study economics," urged the greasy brunette next to her, "or chemistry."

"Economy?" James couldn't help making a mocking voice, "Don't you think business school is getting more and more watery now?" He subconsciously felt that he needed to seek some support, so James turned to his new roommate, " I don't like wasting time there anyway, how about you?"

His roommate didn't laugh: "My whole family graduated from Wharton."

James could only keep smiling: "My God!" He seemed to hear the mocking voices from the back row, "I thought you were fine."

His roommate grinned: "Not necessarily, maybe I will break the tradition. So what about you, what do you want to learn?"

"It must be medical." James gestured, "Just like my father, he is a pharmacist."

The oily boy in the back row sneered: "Really? You have great ambitions, but it's a pity that you look like a typical simple-minded and well-developed limb."

Without waiting for James to fight back, his roommate quickly sarcastically said, "But you don't look developed in any way."

James couldn't bear a burst of laughter, and the red-haired girl frowned in annoyance: "Don't be as knowledgeable as them, Severus." She didn't even look at James, and turned her eyes directly to the night outside the window.

Gee.

James was too lazy to argue with the oily boy, so he turned to his roommate: "So, we're buddies now, aren't we?"

"I don't know." His roommate smiled arrogantly. "Maybe, maybe, maybe..."

More than two hours later, after midnight, they finally completed all the admission procedures and got their dormitory keys.It took James and his unnamed roommate a quarter of an hour to painstakingly carry their—mostly James—trunks up to the third floor.

"How many things did you stuff in there?"

"My mother asked me to bring them." James rubbed his sore arm and thought for a while, "It's mainly clothes."

"You're not a girl."

"I'm a dainty boy!" James argued. "By the way, what's your name anyway?"

His roommate raised his chin and nodded the door: "Look for yourself."

James squinted at him, reluctantly got up from the ground and went outside the door to look at the nameplate RA had pasted on it: "Cirius Black?"

"I'm not as serious as my name."

James laughed: "Obviously. You did a good job in the car just now."

Sirius ignored him, he shook the sheet and used it to wrap the mattress unskillfully, James watched him change into a whole set of white and clean bedding: "Are you frigid? It's very fashionable, bro. "

"I don't have one." Sirius scribbled the quilt pillow onto the bed, "And I'm going to buy a new set tomorrow."

"What a coincidence." James shook his hands and unfolded a bed sheet with a bear printed on it. "I want to buy a new one too."

"Uh..." Sirius hugged his pillow tightly, "Your taste is quite lovely."

"My mother insisted I bring it." James pleaded sullenly, "It's not my preferred pattern."

Sirius shrugged, and didn't bother with the bed sheets. He took out the itinerary during orientation from the schoolbag hanging at the foot of the bed: "We're going to gather at the Science Building at eight o'clock tomorrow morning. In addition, we need to sign this roommate agreement and hand it in." To RA."

"That means we'll be up at seven." James was taken aback. "No, even earlier. We have to shower and tidy up... what are you doing?"

Sirius had already opened the door with his toilet bag: "Take a shower."

James was dumbfounded: "It's past one o'clock now!"

"I know." Sirius said, frowning, "but I can't bear it."

So exciting!

Excitedly, James took out his phone and sent a message to his dad: Big news—my roommate is a handsome guy with a clean freak!

James was standing sadly outside the curtain staring at the faucet when Sirius walked into the bathroom.

"Hey buddy," James asked sadly, "Why is the water cold?"

Sirius squeezed out the toothpaste calmly: "It was cold last night, and I don't know why."

James was dumbfounded: "Then how did you take a shower?"

"Just about." Sirius replied generously under James' disbelieving gaze.

"Boys, be nice to yourself, Sirius," James taught. "I can't bring myself to take a bath in ice water."

"You really have no muscles."

James: "Why are you so mean!"

"You have one hour left." Sirius reminded kindly, "It's better to die sooner than later."

After hesitating for three seconds, James heroically lifted the curtain, and Sirius, who was about to walk back to the dormitory a moment later, heard a distant scream.

"What happened in the bathroom?" The door of the opposite dormitory popped open, and a brown-haired boy poked his head out.

"It's okay." Sirius replied succinctly, "My roommate decided to take a cold shower."

"It's so pitiful." The brown-haired boy shook his head. "Yesterday, the school informed that the water supply system will be maintained from 11pm to 8am this morning. It seems that you just arrived last night."

"Strictly speaking, this morning."

"Then we are door-to-door neighbors." The brown-haired boy scratched his head, "My name is Remus, Remus Lupine."

"Hello." Sirius glanced at the dark dormitory, "Is your roommate still sleeping?"

"Yeah." Remus smiled helplessly, "He was playing with his phone last night, so he probably didn't go to bed until very late."

Sirius judged from the nameplate that Remus's roommate was named Peter, and he had no interest in such an otaku-sounding person: "Okay, then I'll see you later, see you later."

Sirius and James met Remus and his roommate Peter again in the dining room half an hour later.Peter is a short, introverted and timid boy. He belongs to the kind of small and transparent who is easily overwhelmed by the crowd and has no sense of presence. After a few glances at him, Sirius concluded that the school's roommate matching work was very successful, and probably only a nice guy like Remus would have the patience to play with Peter.

"Where are you all from?" James asked enthusiastically.

"Seattle." Remus replied instead, "Peter is from Illinois."

"Oh, I'm from California, San Francisco." After James finished speaking, he realized that he didn't know where Sirius was from. "What about you?"

"New York." Sirius replied quickly, while deftly changing the subject, "What activities do we have today?"

"Listen to lectures in the morning, and do group activities in the afternoon." Remus replied, "Have you all met the rest of our class?"

"Not yet—" James was shaking his head when Sirius suddenly elbowed him, "What are you doing?"

Sirius stared obliquely in front of them and showed a meaningful smile: "Isn't that who and who?"

The other three turned their heads in unison, and James was annoyed to find that the greasy-haired boy he met last night was walking to the drink area with the red-haired girl carrying a plate.

"Yo, snot-nosed!"

"Isn't his name Severus?"

"He got a new name three seconds ago."

Sirius stared at Severus' greasy hair: "Mr. Snotluck's seduction skills seem to be much better than I expected."

"Not necessarily." James snorted, "I think he's just in love."

Sirius smiled without saying a word.

"Who are you talking about?" Remus asked tentatively.

Before James or Sirius could answer, their cell phones rang at the same time.James picked it up and saw that it was a text message from his father: Remember to take more pictures of the school and send them to me and your mother.

no problem.James responded quickly. On the other hand, Sirius quickly read the message and then directly chose to delete it.
