The Necromancer of Hogwarts

Chapter 153 Harry’s last days

"For the greater good."

The cold words made Snape and Lily feel chilled.

"If I were young, I would definitely say this." Dumbledore looked at Snape and Lily, "But now, I am willing to make some extra attempts."

"The Horcrux must be destroyed, that's for sure, otherwise Voldemort can always come back and even resurrect directly in Harry."

"But it's up to you whether Harry dies or not. This is as human as I can get."

He said to Snape: "Snape, prepare the potion I told you. You must separate Harry's soul and Voldemort's soul fragments as much as possible."

"This way when we destroy the fragments of Voldemort's soul, we won't destroy Harry's soul as well."

He said to Lily again: "And you, Lily, you are Harry's mother, you must help him."

"Voldemort's soul fragment is ugly, full of all kinds of desires, and has no love. But Harry's soul is different, it is a soul full of life."

"Helping Harry with love will increase his chances of survival."

Lily opened her mouth, but Dumbledore waved his hand calmly: "This is the only chance, Lily, there is no room for bargaining."

"Do as I say and there's a chance Harry will survive."

With that, Dumbledore turned and left Snape's office.

Lily fell to the ground slumped, with big transparent tears streaming from her eyes: "Why is this happening? Why is this happening?"

"Harry, my Harry, my poor child...why do all the misfortunes have to happen to you?!"

Snape stood in the room with an unpredictable expression on his face.

He grabbed Lily's hand.

"No time, Lily."

"We can't escape. Dumbledore can't let us escape. We have no choice but to do what he says."

"I'm going to find out how to prepare this soul separation potion. You hurry up... and spend more time with Harry."

Lily shed tears and nodded wordlessly.

……

That night, Harry and Ron came out of the Room of Requirement.

When the two of them were chatting and laughing about going back to the common room, Harry suddenly caught a glimpse of a figure in the corner of his eye that made his heart beat faster.

He just vaguely saw a shadow, but immediately felt a blood connection.

He also felt a familiar smell.

"So kind..." Harry muttered.

He said to Ron: "I remembered, the professor told me to go to his place after training."

"It will take a long time. Ron, you should go back first."

Ron glanced at Harry sympathetically: "I'm not asking you to go back and practice more. Harry, take care of yourself."

"I'll leave you some pie and roast chicken."

Harry waved his hand casually and ran in the direction where he had just seen the shadow.

Sure enough, this was not his illusion.

There is really a shadow in Hogwarts, a gentle and beautiful shadow, which makes Harry feel very much like his mother.

Harry chased after him: "Wait! Wait!"

The shadow in front seemed to be deliberately leading Harry in one direction.

Harry also thought in his mind whether this was a trap, but the familiar feeling made him believe that the shadow in front of him would not harm him.

He followed the shadow and ran into a secret passage. After chasing for another four or five minutes, a sharp whistling sound sounded.

Harry was startled when he saw the Whomping Willow outside the passage.

The shadow in front paused and showed Harry how to make the Whomping Willow tame, and then the shadow got into a cave under the Whomping Willow.

Harry gritted his teeth and followed this method and got into the cave.

"Okay? What on earth did you bring me here for?"

"Can you please turn around? I feel like you look familiar."

Harry shouted as he climbed into the cave.

"Are you my relative?"

After he got into the cave, a fragrant aroma surrounded Harry, and the scene inside made Harry's eyes widen.

The cave was suddenly arranged into a small, cozy room. There was a dining table in the center of the room, with several plates of delicious and delicious meals on it.

In this room, besides the shadow, there was another person that Harry didn't expect.

"Professor Snape?!" Harry shouted in disbelief.

Snape glanced at Harry indifferently, with complicated emotions flashing across his eyes, then stepped aside and said in a hoarse voice: "Let's eat, your mother has cooked a table of good food."

"Eat."

hum!

Blood was flowing all over Harry's body, stars were popping up in front of his eyes, and he almost fainted at Snape's words.

He widened his eyes and looked at the shadow standing next to Snape: "Mom...Mom?"

"Are you my mother?"

Lily quietly wiped away her tears and turned around, but her green eyes were filled with tears again.

She choked and said: "Yes, Harry, Harry, good boy..."

"I came back after you suffered, and I made you suffer."

Harry's eyes suddenly turned red.

There is nothing to doubt, that feeling of blood connection, that familiarity from the soul, this is his mother.

Harry immediately rushed forward and tried to hug Lily.

But he missed it and penetrated directly through Lily's body.

Harry's pupils shrank, looking at Lily's now transparent form, biting his lip.

There was a bitterness in Lily's smile: "Yes, Harry, I am now in a form similar to that of a ghost."

She opened her arms and hugged Harry gently.

Although he couldn't touch her, Harry seemed to be able to feel his mother's warmth.

"Harry, will you blame me? I'm not a qualified mother like this..." Lily tried to touch Harry's head, but she couldn't.

Harry's tears fell heavily.

"No, no..."

"what on earth is it?"

Snape explained: "I used a special method to bring your mother's soul back from the underworld."

"I'm looking for a way to completely resurrect her. I don't know if I can find it. I'm still looking for it."

Harry's body shook violently: "Resurrection? Complete resurrection?"

"You mean to let mother have a body and come back to life?!"

"Professor, I'm here to help you! No matter what you want me to do, I'm here to help you!"

Lily wiped her eyes and stroked Harry's head: "Silly boy, let's not talk about this for now."

"Look, I asked Snape to help cook a table."

"I'm really sorry. Mom has no body and can't cook for you with her own hands. Don't blame mom."

"Come on, try it quickly, it should taste like mom."

Harry sat at the table, eating the food one bite at a time.

Snape sat across from him reading a book, and Lily sat next to him, gently trying to wipe the stain off his mouth.

"Is this what happiness tastes like?" Such thoughts came to Harry's mind.

"Even if it seems like I'm going to die, I'm still very happy to be like this."
