Help, I've become a paper man

Chapter 5: Qualification Stripping

After Song Yi swallowed, he reacted half a beat late, licked his lips, and there was a residual sweetness on the tip of his tongue, but before he could taste it clearly, the thing in his mouth had completely disappeared. He looked over again and met a pair of eyes full of surprise. This was normal. After all, who would eat a bomb?

He changed his mind and thought that he was a time traveler, so whatever happened was normal.

But under Yan Changyue's gaze, Song Yi was still inexplicably nervous. He opened his mouth and burped before making any sound.

"Let's go buy some clothes," he said.

Yan Changyue didn't ask any more questions, just nodded. After getting off the car, he was particularly conscious and took off his coat on his own initiative. When Song Yi walked over to him, he handed it to him.

It was only then that Song Yi discovered that his coat was missing, and his battle-damaged short-sleeved shirt clearly showed the wounds and bloodstains.

He took the coat silently, and after taking off his gloves, he fumbled on the fabric with his still not-so-clean hands, looking like an inexperienced person. He uttered two low "wows". When Yan Changyue looked over, he put it on and asked, "You're wearing a suit to go out?"

It was only after he was out of danger of losing his life that he began to pay attention to the state of the “coerced” person.

Yan Changyue nodded and walked towards the mall first. Song Yi followed behind him. This time there were no monsters chasing him. Even though his clothes rubbed against his wounds while he walked, his steps were still brisk.

He even asked again: "Your clothes are not cheap, right?"

Yan Changyue, who was walking in front, sighed silently, but smiled and said, "There's a party tonight, will you join me?"

It's also strange.

Song Yi was shocked, quickened his pace, walked to Yan Changyue's side, leaned over to look, and showed his "curiosity" very directly. He also reached out his hand to pinch the hem of Yan Changyue's white shirt and asked, "Is this one expensive?"

He is really curious!

But Yan Changyue raised her hand and did not answer his question. Instead, she pulled him towards her to make room for the children running behind. Even without this, Song Yi would not be hit with his current physical fitness. But since someone was "helping", he followed the force and moved to the side, with his shoulder close to Yan Changyue's.

However, neither of them expected that the child who ran over turned around, saw Song Yi from below, and immediately burst into tears.

"Loading failed... Loading failed..."

Still loading! Song Yi complained in his heart. After two seconds, he followed Yan Changyue's line of sight. He looked down at himself. He was wearing a suit jacket with no buttons buttoned. The fabric on his chest was torn. Although some wounds had scabbed over, there were bigger wounds. Blood was flying in front of him, which was beyond the child's tolerance.

The next second, Song Yi took a step forward, picked up Yan Changyue with one hand, quickly walked around the crowd, ran up the escalator first, and answered loudly.

“Special effects makeup, it’s all special effects!”

With this little superman's physical fitness, he didn't need to hold the man under his armpits or on his shoulders. He could just pinch his waist and lift up a man weighing over 100 pounds and run with him, which surprised Yan Changyue, who was not even touching the ground.

Not only Yan Changyue was surprised, the people around were first attracted by the crying of the child, and then caught by Song Yi's smooth movements. For a moment, the crowd was silent for a moment, leaving only the music of the mall.

This strange silence made Song Yi feel a little uneasy. He couldn't help but recall his twin brothers who had left not long ago. The torn wounds hurt even more. He simply took the escalator, picked up Yan Changyue who had just stood up, and quickly ran to the second floor.

The air Yan Changyue had just inhaled was almost stuck in her throat. Still remembering Song Yi's "inconvenience", she slightly bent her knees to prevent her calves from hitting the steps. She even took the initiative to put her arms around Song Yi's shoulders to block the wetness that was gradually spreading across his chest.

...Special effects makeup doesn’t have any bloody after-sales service.

The guy's wound had split open, but he was still grinning, laughing and gasping in pain. His originally delicate face now looked hideous.

Yan Changyue just looked up and then turned away, patting Song Yi's arm. After attracting his attention, she pointed at the clerk with a dull expression and said, "Go to this one."

"Okay." Song Yi agreed readily.

The main reason was that more and more people were paying attention to them. When passing by the clerk, Song Yi was about to loosen his hand and let go of Yan Changyue. The clerk was so scared that he trembled, thinking that he was going to attack him. Fortunately, Song Yi just pulled his hand back, moved his shoulders, and turned his head to look at Yan Changyue.

Yan Changyue met his gaze.

He asked, "I can't try on clothes like this, right?"

Not only did he smell like fresh blood, but even the scent of Yan Changyue's perfume was diluted by this smell.

Yan Changyue neither agreed nor refuted, but just shook her head, noticing the clerk behind her and her trembling and increasingly stiff legs, and pointed at the black suit beside her and asked Song Yi, "Do you like it?"

Hearing this, Song Yi stopped, turned his head to take a look, then quickly turned his gaze back and replied, "I don't like it."

Then he turned around, walked a few steps in front of the clothes rack, pointed at the casual suit, and said, "I like this. It would be even better if there were sportswear."

He just thought that this game seemed to have a lot of battle scenes, and he would sigh "Great XP" when he saw them fighting in suits, but asking him to fight in suits... he decided not to do it!

But Song Yi didn't notice that the tone of his voice was not righteous, but there was no concept of "money" at all. He didn't think Yan Changyue would worry about money, nor did he think Yan Changyue would not spend money on him.

It's not about guessing the price of the car in the other world, and then combining it with Yan Changyue's clothes to infer this person's net worth. It's mainly because Yan Changyue has a face that looks very expensive, the kind that you can tell at a glance that she has been pampered and perhaps well-maintained, as if "not short of money" is written on her hair.

The clerk looked at the bloodstains on Song Yi's body, then at the red marks on Yan Changyue's shirt, and his smile seemed a little stiff.

Yan Changyue said, "Okay, try it on."

As he spoke, he took out a pack of tissues and handed it over. Song Yi didn't think much about it. He took down the hook of his casual suit, took the tissue with his other hand, and went straight to the locker room.

The scene was quiet for a few seconds. The clerk retracted his gaze and looked at Yan Changyue. This man was very conscious of accompanying someone shopping. He had already walked to the cashier counter, reached out to the display screen of the cash register, easily exported the dialog box, selected the goods to take away, and in less than half a minute, he had jumped to the payment button.

"Sir, this is a safe zone, you need me to report it for you..." the clerk said, and stopped the second half of the sentence when he saw Yan Changyue put his fingerprint on the payment area.

The cash register displayed a successful payment in golden fonts.

"Welcome Master Yan Changyue!"

The clerk was obviously relieved, and the smile on his face quickly returned, even looking a little cheerful. The words on his lips changed naturally, and he asked smoothly: "Can you report the recent hot items?"

Yan Changyue replied: "Please help me get two sets of formal clothes and I will take them away."

Song Yi didn't see this. If he had seen it, he would have pinched his throat and repeated it twice. He was so domineering, so childish, and so funny.

He didn't have a chance to see it for the time being. He was still in the locker room, using tissues to try to heal the wounds on his body. Even in his current physical condition, he couldn't heal again within a few minutes. He even tried to use a torn short-sleeved shirt to help clean it. After a while, he finally relied on his overly buggy body to recover, and finally made himself "clean", at least he wouldn't get dirty when trying on clothes. But he had just put on his shirt, was buttoning it, and was secretly pressing his muscles twice. When he whistled in his heart, the system sound rang in his mind again.

"Loading failed... stripping qualifications..."

Song Yi subconsciously complained, "It's against the rules if I don't touch myself, in this 12+ game," but his body was still honest and his hands moved quickly. After finishing his shirt in a few seconds, he put on his jacket while hopping on one leg to get his trousers.

"Qualifications are being stripped away."

He paused, his mind still digesting the new content. Before he understood it, he subconsciously became alert. At the same time, he put on his trousers even more quickly. No matter how many thoughts he had, the only one he had left was: I just want to remain innocent in this world!

Even if it was the popular obliteration complex, even if this was not his original body, even if he would not know what happened after the accident... Song Yi still put on his clothes first, paused for two seconds in his original shoes, looked at the healing scars on the instep, took a deep breath, and simply pushed open the door of the locker room barefoot, ran towards Yan Changyue, and shouted nonsense.

"Help, big guy!"

Yan Changyue had just received the packing bag and was clicking on the screen to select the clothes to be sent home. When she heard the voice, she looked over and her rare smile seemed stiff. After all, anyone who saw someone wearing human clothes, with dirty face and hair, running barefoot, like a gorilla escaping from a zoo, and heading straight towards him, would not feel very peaceful.

But the next second...

"Disqualification failed."

Just before Song Yi pounced on Yan Changyue, he slammed on the brakes, looked at Yan Changyue with tears in his eyes, and was speechless for a moment.

He thought Noah's Ark was going to be a big one, but it ended up pulling a bigger one for him. Can the person who was just lost be picked up? Waiting offline, it's pretty urgent.
