From their current distance, Wanda could see a woman with a sleek, hairless head, walking precariously as if she was about to collapse.

Reacting instinctively, Wanda used her powers to steady her steps and prevent her from falling.

As she got closer, Wanda could sense the presence of other Nightsisters, leaping from treetop to treetop or emerging from the hillside to check on the new visitor.

After a closer look, Wanda realized that the bald woman looked a lot like—

"Ilsigi?" she exclaimed in a low voice.

Hearing the name, the two little girls walked up to them silently. Illyana saw the woman Wanda was supporting, as if she had seen a ghost.

"Auntie?" she whispered.

If you ignore the specific facial tattoos and add in the hair, the image before you is almost that of Ilsigi.

"Wanda," the voice of the leader of the Nightsisters came from behind.

"If I'm not mistaken, it seems someone has returned home." Wanda said.

"Your instincts are sound, Maximov," said Matron Talzin, her ghostly voice echoing around them. "She was one of us, long ago, someone to be protected, and she protected us.

"Well, now she must be eager to hear a story."

After Mother Talzin motioned to the unconscious man, Wanda used her powers to levitate the newcomer in the center of the village.

She felt the other Nightsisters, including her friend June, leap down from their perch and land behind them. They were whispering in confusion, wondering why Matron Talzin allowed outsiders to come in so easily, but they seemed to have missed the part where Matron Talzin said she was one of their own.

"who is she?"

Matron Talzin revealed, "She is Asajj...Ilsijj's only daughter."

Upon hearing the news, the tribesmen all gasped. Merlin widened his eyes and looked at Elena in astonishment.

The unconscious Asajj Ventress was brought to the village, where Matron Talzin conjured a stone table that emerged from the earth. Matron Talzin urged Wanda to place the wayward nightsister on the table.

"Take out the water of life," she ordered.

Wanda stared at a few tribesmen who rushed into the village. A few minutes later, they returned with several kettles. Other Datomirian women came out with bowls. They formed a circle around a stone slab and slowly poured the green liquid into the bowls.

At this point, Mother Talzin began her healing ritual, and a green mist slowly rose from the bowl and filled the air.

"You're back, Asajj, you're safe," said the Matron.

The mist slowly enveloped the Dark Jedi, and parts of it began to seep through her exposed skin.

"I remember the day we were forced to abandon you to protect the clan...it hurt us more than you can imagine."

As the healing ritual progressed, a series of memories began to emerge in Ventres' mind, and those blurry images gradually became clearer.

This may be because her head injury needs to be fully healed through the magic of the Nightsisters. Some of those long-forgotten times were caused by herself, and some were caused by external forces.

"We have to let her go, it's the only way she'll be safe."

"This is my daughter, I will never..."

"This is not only for us, but also for herself. If..."

"He will never have her. I can't let him take my daughter away."

Ventres was taken away by Halstead to keep their people safe from harm. In the chaos, the infant Asajj reached out to her mother. The mother tried to be strong, but burst into tears when she tried to take her daughter back. She was stopped by the Nightsisters and watched her daughter being taken away.

When Asajj was taken away, she could only see the sad eyes of her mother and her tribesmen.

Time passed, and Asajj grew up on the planet Ratataq, living in the shadow of a warlord family and leading a life of slavery... However, she persisted and eventually took the same name as her last name.

On one fateful day, she returned from her chores on the outskirts of the village and witnessed the chaos that ensued. In front of the home where she once lived and served…she witnessed the moment when her master’s life faded away at the doorstep.

Later, she learned that her master's family was brutally killed by Weequay attackers, which made her feel both free and confused. Fortunately, she was saved by a Jedi Knight named Ki Narek.

That was the day she first experienced using the Force to protect herself.

"You are powerful in the Force, little one. What is your name?" the Jedi asked in a voice full of love and fatherly care.

"Asajj... Ventres," she answered, reaching out her hand and clasping it tightly. A feeling of warmth, safety, and comfort instantly enveloped her.

As time went by, she had grown from a little girl to an apprentice of the Jedi Order. However, things did not go as expected.

She was never accepted as a full member of the Order. Ki Narek informally took her in as his Padawan, and he lost touch with the rest of the Jedi in the galaxy. His ship crashed on Ratataq, and he was forced to stay on the planet and use the Force to help liberate it.

For years, they were seen as heroes by the lower classes, saviors by those oppressed by wealth and power.

During that time, Ventress came to see Ki Narek not only as her Jedi Master, but also as the father figure she never had.

Ki Narek told her that he loved her as his daughter and student.

However, happiness was not permanent. The warlords of Rattatak grew tired of the two Jedi Knights and were determined to get rid of them forever. They pooled their resources and combined their strength to take out the two men once and for all.

On that fateful day, Asajj watched her "master," her "father," being killed by a Weequay assassin. She could not believe what was happening and clung to the dying Ki Narek.

"Master...No! Master, don't leave me!" she cried.

His hands trembled as he reached for her, as his life slipped away. "Asajj, I'm sorry... don't--" He

Just like that, Ki Narek, the father figure in Asajj Ventress's eyes, gradually lost its luster, his life flame gradually extinguished, and merged into the torrent of the Force.

"Master!" she cried loudly, heartbroken.

She gripped her master's lightsaber tightly and ignited it, the blue and green light roaring wildly in her hand, slaughtering all the hateful warlords as she fell to the dark side.

After completing the mission of liberating Ratataq assigned by her master, she resolutely left Ratataq and began her career as a bounty hunter. She once longed to officially join the Jedi Order on Coruscant, but because of her past actions, she was sentenced to prison and could only live in speculation.

Her chance finally came when the Clone Wars began, and she heard about a gathering where a man named Count Dooku was seeking warriors to fight alongside him against the Jedi Order.

Upon returning to Ratatak, she infiltrated a gladiatorial event with the intention of impressing the leader, hoping to catch the attention of Count Dooku, whom she had heard of through Ki Narek before he accidentally left the Order.

Apparently she’s pretty good… to a point.

"I can sense the darkness within you," Count Dooku said. "I will teach you how to use the dark side, but you must prove your worth first."

For her, these words were an opportunity to join Dooku's army.

It was on that day that she learned that the leader, Count Dooku, was actually Darth Tyrannus, the Sith apprentice of Darth Sidious. Since then, she has served her new master Dooku wholeheartedly, becoming his apprentice and fighting fiercely against the Republic.
