Marvel crosses Star Wars, and everyone attacks the galaxy

There was silence for a while, and the clone and the three teenagers just ate there silently.

Except for one clone.

The clone with the number five tattooed on the side of his temple glanced over and saw one of his companions going as crazy as his datapad. His head seemed to be about to explode in the clone's thought process.

"Okay, seriously, Echo." Five groaned loudly. "What the hell are you looking at on that dataslate? You look like the vein in your forehead is about to burst.

His Domino teammate looked up from his mat. "Huh? What?

"You've been looking at that dataslate like you're trying to figure out the answer to the universe," Five said. "What's wrong with you?"

"Hehe, hehe——"

"Don't try to turn it off," said the Joker. "With Commander Tano here, she can basically give you orders."

"I'll do that," Ahsoka said with a cheeky, sly smile.

Echo sighed but gave his commander and companions an amused look.

“Come on, Echo.” Burden turned to him. “Speak up. You haven’t said a word since you got your own datapad. Kix at least spoke, but you’ve been silent as a grave.”

CT-1409 looked down at what he had been looking at and rubbed his chin, frowning thoughtfully.

"Well, I've been following the attack on Coruscant for some time." Echo admitted, holding up his dataslate. On it, some could make out the dotted outline that Echo was pointing to was a map of the inner rim of the galaxy. "There's something that's been bothering me since the attack.

"What happened?" the Master asked sarcastically. "A crazy robot attacked the Republic's capital on its doorstep."

"No, no, you don't understand." Echo said, looking frustrated, but seemingly more inclined to himself. "I've been looking over and over this attack, and a lot of things haven't been taken into account.

"What exactly?" Ahsoka asked, now curious.

“Everything is fine.” Echo almost exclaimed, raising his arms. “This whole attack makes no sense at all. How could it happen so suddenly?”

"It was a surprise attack, Echo. Burden said. "The emphasis is on surprise, you know?"

However, Echo shook his head. "Think about it. This is Coruscant we're talking about. Every hyperspace lane and route around us is already controlled. The Deep Core is made up almost entirely of Republic loyalists. How did he get past all of our defenses?"

"Well, Ultron is an AI," Peter pointed out. "He doesn't think like a robot, not even like the tactical robots we encounter. He thinks a hundred steps ahead of us."

"That's not enough, though," Echo said. "Robots are one thing, but...wait, let me show you.

Echo jumped down from his bunk, walked to the center of the barracks, and put down the data pad.

Pressing the center button, the clone and the three teens saw a holographic projection of the galaxy in which Coruscant was located.

"Look at this." Echo pointed to several curved lines. "These are the known hyperspace passages in and out of the Coruscant system.

Most people just nodded, listened to the echo and continued talking.

"I have reviewed this attack many times now. Look at it. Echo magnified the projection dozens of times, and Ultron's attack fleet emerged from hyperspace. "Right there, do you see it?"

The clones, two Jedi, and an Avenger leaned forward, staring specifically at what Echo was pointing at.

It was a moment later that Barris first realized what Echo was trying to demonstrate.

"These men are not using any known hyperspace gateways," Barris exclaimed in shock.

"Wait, what?" Ahsoka said in surprise. "How is this possible? For thousands of years, Coruscant has been the center of the galaxy. How can there be an unknown hyperspace gateway?"

"Ultron found them," Peter said in a grim tone.

"How do the robots find these passages?" asked Five.

"Ultron is not a robot, remember?" Peter sighed.

"What's the difference?" asked the boss. "Can't he be destroyed like other robots?"

Peter shook his head. "The robots here are usually programmed to perform one function or a set of functions, right?"

His statement was affirmed by nods from most of the clones present.

"AI isn't like that," Peter said. "I guess... the best I can think of is that AI is kind of like a replica of a biological being. There were three factors in the creation of Ultron, mainly the people who made him. Mr. Stark, Dr. Banner, and that gem that the Avengers wanted a while ago. He's sentient and independent."

"A man of status." Jesse muttered.

"Yeah, pretty much," Peter said. "But being an AI means he's not as limited as the robots here. He can think and evolve beyond what he was originally created for.

"What is that?" Ahsoka asked in a hesitant tone.

Peter rubbed the back of his head.

"Well, from what I know about him from what others have told me, he was designed as a peacekeeping program to help the Avengers."

"Helping the Avengers, eh?" The Burden said dryly. "Looks like he screwed up the job he was doing in the first place."

“That’s it, there’s a twisted version of him,” Peter said. “And it doesn’t look like it’s changed.”

"So what does he want to do?" Ahsoka asked.

"Well...if that's any indication of what he just did as his opening statement. Peter glanced at the holographic display of the strike force Ultron had brought with him. "Same as last time."

"What would that be?" Kix leaned forward, albeit hesitantly.

"Extinction," Peter said in a blunt tone. "Ultron wants to end all life on Earth, or force humanity to evolve. Either that's the case, or he's completely insane and wants it all over again.

"Great, it turns out this Ultron guy is just another version of Grievous. He just wants to kill, kill, kill." Heavy said coldly.

“Given reports of this guy attacking Separatists on their homeworld, I don’t even think Grievous is that crazy,” Echo pointed out grimly. “We’re dealing with a new force in this war.”

"How we defeat him should be our top priority." Barriss said loudly, with firm conviction. "He attacked innocent civilians, and many of our Jedi Knights and clone brothers died in his attacks. If he is allowed to go unchecked, it will only lead to more unnecessary deaths."

The clones all nodded or expressed their agreement with Mirialan Padawan's declaration.

"So how do we defeat him?" Ahsoka asked with a frown, looking towards her Earth friend. "Peter, since you and the Avengers have fought this guy before, do you know how to defeat him?"

Peter rubbed the back of his head. “Well, to be honest, I’ve never fought him. The only ones who’ve really fought him are Cap, Rhodes, Quicksilver, Black Widow, Wanda, and Vision. And Vision is the only one who can beat him.”

"He's still missing, right?" Five asked, and Peter simply nodded in confirmation.

"So how do we defeat him?"

Peter hung his head. "I...I don't know.

"So what can we do?" Ahsoka asked with a slightly frustrated look on her face.

Spider-Man was silent for a few seconds until his fists clenched and he put on a determined expression.

"If we can't actually destroy, that's okay," Peter said. "What matters is that we defeat him and stop his plans. That's all we can do until he's defeated."

Instead of gaining a glimmer of confidence, they had a grim look on their faces.

This battle they were heading towards… There was an ominous feeling of dread as they made their way to the planet Jabium.
