HP Shavings Wizard

Chapter 63 Apology

Hearing Alison's sharp association with Newt, Dumbledore fell silent, his expression somewhat complicated.

Newt was indeed his favorite student.

And Hagrid...

I have to admit, when he saw Hagrid had no friends at school because of his obviously abnormal physique and simple personality, and regarded those magical animals as friends, he did have some thoughts of loving the creatures as well.

Grindelwald, who was still watching the show, loosened his hand on Alison's shoulder and heard Scamander's eyes narrow dangerously and his voice deep: "...Al."

Dumbledore turned to look at Grindelwald, and their eyes met.

He took a deep breath and let it out slowly: "Don't do this, Gail."

Grindelwald looked subtly unhappy, but he didn't pursue the matter further.

After spending half a century in Nurmengard, there must have been several students who were favored and loved by Albus.

Why had Alison's bringing this up in the first place irritated him, wasn't it because it was a nasty fact that he could have guessed?

Dumbledore turned to Alison and said, "Alison, I will speak to Hagrid about this."

Alison felt that she had gotten away with strangling Harry when buying school uniforms and this incident, and her expression became visibly proud.

However, Dumbledore added to the naughty boy who took the initiative to cause trouble: "But you should also apologize to Harry."

Alison blinked her blue eyes and argued slyly, "I'm telling the truth! He should apologize to me!"

Dumbledore sighed. Alison was very good at sophistry and always had a logic.

So he didn't say anything, but just watched Alison continue talking.

Alison raised her chin slightly and stared at Harry, domineering.

"What do you want me to apologize for? You know nothing. You don't know the half-giant's past, how he gets along with outsiders, or what disgusting things he has raised. And yet you think I am slandering others based on just a few hours of impressions!"

The simple Harry, who was only eleven years old, was speechless because of what she said. He really didn't know this.

After easily convincing the annoying brat to the point where he began to doubt whether there was something wrong with him, Alison proudly pulled Dumbledore aside and prepared to leave.

Dumbledore didn't move. He sighed and said to Harry, "I'm sorry, Harry."

!!!

Alison didn't expect her father to apologize. Her eyes widened, and her face was instantly filled with disbelief and anger.

Harry was also stunned.

The gentle and reasonable parent said to Harry: "I hope you can forgive Alison."

Harry hesitated for a moment and said, "…It doesn't matter."

The one who couldn't accept it was Alison. She puffed up her cheeks and didn't want her father to apologize to the annoying Potter on her behalf.

Dumbledore touched Alison's head and said to Harry again, "Thank you, Harry."

He ignored Alison's little mood and whispered to Harry softly, "Let's go, it's almost time."

Alison was dragged away by Dumbledore. After a few steps, she couldn't help but shake off her father's hand angrily.

Dumbledore looked at Alison's angry expression and shook his head helplessly.

Alison closed her eyes, hugged her father's arm, and held Bathilda's hand.

She didn't want to pay attention to her father for the time being.

Although Grindelwald seemed to ignore the conflict between the two people, he was actually paying attention to Alison's emotions.

He secretly squeezed Alison's hand to comfort his daughter.

Bathilda also noticed Alison's emotions, touched her head, and comforted Alison softly: "It's okay, dear."

Alison glared at Harry angrily, full of malice, and was eager to light a fire: "I clearly warned Potter! If he dares to get close to Dumbledore, I will burn him with Fiendfyre!"

Dumbledore sighed helplessly: "Alison."

The little girl looked at her father with grievance because he was partial to other people's children.

Dumbledore touched Alison's head and coaxed her softly, "Don't be angry, okay?"

After being coaxed, Alison felt even more aggrieved and was about to cry.

"You are obviously my teacher, and now you only teach me, so we have the closest relationship."

Dumbledore sighed helplessly: "I know."

He squatted down and looked at Alison with a serious expression: "But Harry is also my student."

Alison resented the fact that she could not distinguish her uniqueness in his eyes.

"Others don't count! You haven't been responsible for attending class for a long time!"

Dumbledore paused for a moment and continued, "No matter what, Harry is a student of Hogwarts, and I am the headmaster of Hogwarts."

He looked at Alison's wrinkled face and sighed helplessly: "I have a responsibility to protect every student at Hogwarts."

Alison stared at her father for a moment, then lowered her eyes in grievance and compromised.

"…then Albus kiss me."

Dumbledore was stunned for a moment.

The red-haired girl turned her face away in embarrassment and whispered, "...just kiss me."

Dumbledore came back to his senses, smiled gently, and leaned over to kiss Alison gently on the forehead.

So what happened just now has touched Dad's bottom line. I guess I have to be cunning when I get to school.

Alison lowered her eyes to hide the calmness and calculation in them.

The naughty kid, who had been so naughty that he had no shame at all, looked up again, with a sincere and obedient face towards Harry, and apologized in a sweet and soft voice to ease the situation.

"…I'm sorry, Potter-san. I apologize for any harm I've done to you."

Harry was stunned. He didn't expect that Alison, who had always been cold and arrogant in front of him, would suddenly apologize.

Being a good boy, Harry never thought that there might be any conspiracy behind this. He hesitated for a moment and felt a little embarrassed by the pretty girl's softening attitude.

"It's okay. I should apologize to you too. I shouldn't have quarreled with you."

Alison smiled.

Harry smiled too.

Dumbledore looked at the two children who had finally reconciled, and a relieved smile appeared on his face.

But he still felt a little uneasy in his heart, feeling that Alison shouldn't behave like this. This was too much like a normal child, but Alison usually treated everything with the same indifference and coldness as a child treats toys. Would she really apologize so gently?

So he observed Alison unnoticed, always feeling that his daughter was planning something bad.

Bathilda was also relieved, but she didn't think too much about it. She touched Alison's head and praised, "Well done, dear."

Alison gave a sweet and innocent smile, looking well-behaved and cute.

Grindelwald watched from the side, raising his eyebrows slightly. He didn't think that this matter would end so easily. Considering Alison and his personality, if he suddenly gave in and said sweet words, it could only be that there was a deeper calculation behind it.
