HP Shavings Wizard

Chapter 58 Horcrux

Dumbledore ignored the burning look.

He looked at Alison. "Do you understand what I mean?"

“…I’m not someone who can be easily swayed by sweet words.”

Alison twirled her long hair nonchalantly, looking lazy and calm, and it was obvious that she would not be easily impressed.

The young wizard was not as easy to please as her old lover, and she asked a crucial and fatal question.

"How much time and energy are you prepared to devote to Gellert and me?"

Grindelwald had been laughing since Alison started talking, and was drinking tea and watching the show, which made Alison even more annoyed.

Dumbledore said sincerely: "I will do my best."

Alison pursed her lips and smiled softly, saying meaningfully: "But I don't think it's much... compared to Hogwarts..."

The old principal was obviously helpless when compared like this.

"I'll try my best, but there are always things..."

Alison didn't listen to her father's explanation, and her face turned cold instantly. She sneered and went upstairs to her room in dissatisfaction.

"Then there's nothing to talk about... I'm a liar and I have a guilty conscience, so naturally I think others are also guilty. So I always only look at the behavior that shows the purpose, and don't listen to those sweet words that can't be distinguished from the truth."

Grindelwald smiled as he looked at his old lover who was worried about his daughter.

Dumbledore called helplessly: "Gael."

Grindelwald snorted in good humor.

Dumbledore stared at him: "Don't add fuel to the fire."

Grindelwald's tone was innocent.

"You're so sad, Al, and you know I didn't do anything."

Dumbledore sighed and complained softly, "You are such a complete bastard."

Grindelwald smiled and said, "Although I am indeed an asshole, I still want to thank you for the compliment."

Dumbledore was silent for a moment, feeling helpless.

"You two are really giving me a headache."

"I think you're enjoying it."

Grindelwald said in a teasing tone.

Dumbledore lowered his eyes.

"At least, I hope I can help Alison."

Grindelwald raised an eyebrow and began to quibble.

"I thought your love for me would be more obvious."

Dumbledore looked at him: "I have made it obvious to you."

Grindelwald chuckled and handed him a cup of tea. He looked back at him in a good mood and said, "But I don't think it's enough."

Dumbledore took it and took a sip of the black tea with honey.

"If you insist on me saying something sweet to satisfy you..."

Grindelwald smiled cheerfully: "Why not?"

Dumbledore looked helpless, but said it very naturally.

"Okay…I love you, Gail."

Grindelwald leaned over with a smile.

Dumbledore kissed the corner of his mouth.

Grindelwald was in a good mood: "Al..."

Dumbledore's eyes flickered with a smile.

The two sat quietly and intimately for a while, and Grindelwald kissed Dumbledore's fingers when he stood up and left.

Dumbledore sat there, just smiling, lowering his eyes and gently stroking his fingers.

……

No matter how dissatisfied she was, because Grindelwald, Dumbledore and Bathilda were all elders over a hundred years old, Alison didn't stay in the room for long before coming out to cook dinner.

Seeing that only her parents came to the table to eat, Alison held her chin in her hand and asked curiously, "Where's Bathilda?"

Dumbledore smiled and replied, "She was invited by a friend to visit."

Alison blinked and got down to business: "Okay...so we're leaving for Little Hangleton tomorrow morning?"

Dumbledore nodded quietly.

Alison suddenly asked Grindelwald again, pulling his sleeve: "...When are you going to get a house-elf?"

Grindelwald was stunned for a moment, then smiled and said, "Why did you suddenly think of this?"

Alison had a blank expression on her face and spoke in a calm, experienced tone.

"I am a house wizard, not a house elf. I am now responsible for hygiene, cooking, and taking care of the garden... I am doing what a house elf can do, and I am also doing what a house elf cannot do. Doesn't your conscience hurt?"

"Besides, when I go to school, someone will have to take care of you and Bathilda. You are so old now."

Grindelwald suppressed a laugh and rubbed her head.

Dumbledore coughed lightly and comforted her: "We will solve this problem as soon as possible."

The three of them finally enjoyed their dinner in peace.

Halfway through dinner, Alison suddenly burst into a delighted chuckle, a little neurotically.

Grindelwald looked up, puzzled: "What are you laughing at?"

Alison blinked her blue eyes cutely and spoke mysteriously, deliberately continuing to irritate the nerves of her father, the only white wizard.

"Have you ever heard of such a thing as a Horcrux?"

Hearing such evil things, Grindelwald subconsciously looked at Dumbledore who was frowning slightly beside him.

Dumbledore looked serious: "Where did you hear this word?"

Alison fooled him casually and stared at her father: "Come on, I'm a dark wizard... Gellert, what about you?"

Grindelwald said in a relaxed tone: "Horcruxes? I have heard of them, but I don't understand them."

Alison took over and kindly explained the science.

"By killing people and splitting their souls, one achieves immortality. Because even if the body dies, there are still soul fragments in the Horcrux that prevent him from going to the spirit world."

"You are right." Dumbledore frowned, "But how did you know?"

Alison propped up her face and said, "Read a book. "Advanced Black Magic Revealed" is an interesting book."

Dumbledore's serious education to his rebellious daughter: "You shouldn't look at those things."

So Alison couldn't help laughing and lay on the table, tears were about to come out, and she continued to sell Voldemort in a long and playful voice.

"You still have to understand it. After all, there is a fool who split his soul into seven parts."

Dumbledore's expression suddenly became solemn, and he thought of countless things in an instant.

There is no death, only Voldemort disappeared, the Dark Mark of the Death Eaters still exists, and the evil and profound knowledge that splits the soul...

He was silent for a while, his tone was unusually serious and solemn.

"We need to talk, Alison."

"About the Horcruxes."

Alison tilted her head innocently and refused decisively: "No!"

Dumbledore said firmly: "I must know how much you know."

Alison stubbornly reiterated, "I don't!"

Dumbledore stared at her, and softened his tone, trying to comfort the child: "I just want to confirm something."

Alison ate her steak without a care in the world, and replied in a pleasant and vague manner, "I don't! Even Legilimency doesn't work!"

Dumbledore was silent for another moment.

"Then what should I do to make you tell me?"

Alison Chew: "…Nothing. I will only tell you when the time is right."

Dumbledore sighed slightly, completely losing his temper with Grindelwald's identity as a prophet and his mysterious and secretive attitude.

Alison giggled and clinged to Grindelwald, receiving a loving kiss on the forehead from her father.

After dinner, Alison unexpectedly followed the rules and reviewed the Dark Defense content from the morning tutorial for a while, while the other two played wizard chess leisurely.
