HP Shavings Wizard

Chapter 40 Dancing Pudding

Dumbledore then turned to Grindelwald and began a conversation between adult wizards.

"Gellert, would you like a butterbeer?"

Although he is no longer an old man who is suitable for drinking, it is obvious that alcohol is something that is only banned for children but not for old men.

When Alison heard them mention beer, her ears perked up and she glanced over with curiosity.

Little wizards always yearn for the adult world.

Dumbledore noticed Alison's look and chuckled gently: "Alison, you are too young to drink alcoholic beverages. However, here is a special non-alcoholic butter beer that tastes great. Would you like to try it?"

Grindelwald raised an eyebrow, but being used to not following the rules, he didn't care about it.

"Come on, let her try some real Butterbeer. A small glass won't hurt."

Bathilda was a little worried: "Gellert, I don't think this is a good idea..."

Fortunately, Dumbledore gave Grindelwald a serious look and stopped this unreliable parent: "Let's abide by the rules! Alison, what do you think of the non-alcoholic version?"

At this time, Alison, who was encouraged by her father, was ready to make a move. She was so bold and whimsical that she quickly replied, "I want to try the fire whiskey!"

Grindelwald couldn't help laughing, but quickly stopped under Dumbledore's stern gaze.

Dumbledore became more serious. "Alison, Firewhisky is too strong for you. Besides, it is illegal for underage drinking."

Bathilda tried to lighten the mood: "Honey, here is a special pumpkin juice that tastes great. Would you like to try it?"

"Alison, we have to obey the law. When you come of age, you can drink whatever you want. Now, what do you think of pumpkin juice?" Dumbledore also agreed.

Alison was depressed.

"Then I'll have both pumpkin juice and non-alcoholic butterbeer."

Melodious music echoed in the restaurant. The waiter wrote down the menu and walked to the kitchen.

Dumbledore winked playfully, his expression gentle and relaxed: "Alison, don't be disappointed. When you grow up a little bit, you can try more interesting drinks."

Grindelwald raised an eyebrow and continued to make unreliable suggestions with a smile: "Or we can find an illegal bar and buy you some real alcohol and put it in a teacup."

Bathilda couldn't help glaring at her nephew: "Gail, don't go too far!"

Alison's eyes lit up slightly, and she also thought of a way to exploit the loophole: "You can also use an ageing agent!"

Dumbledore sighed and ruffled Alison's red hair vigorously: "Alison, you can't rely on magic to solve all problems."

The atmosphere in the restaurant was good, with guests chatting quietly. Drinks were served first to help the waiting guests pass the time.

A few people sat at the dining table chatting and laughing while the waiter quickly brought the dishes they ordered.

Alison stared at the plate of yellow pudding meat twisting like waves and dancing the waltz with a table knife as if facing a great enemy:!

When little wizards eat this strange magical food for the first time, their reactions are always cute and funny.

Dumbledore couldn't help laughing. "Don't be nervous, Alison. Those puddings are just dancing. They won't bite."

Grindelwald scooped a spoonful of pudding with a spoon, put it in his mouth, and curled his lips slightly: "Try it?"

Bathilda also encouraged Alison: "Honey, be brave and try it. It's delicious."

Alison quickly pulled out her yew wand and pointed it at the dancing pudding.

"Confinement quickly!"

The pudding was stuck, no longer dancing, but still trying to twist on the plate.

Happy and kind laughter rang out in the restaurant, not only from the parents, but also from the wizards who were secretly paying attention to the cute reactions of the little wizards here while eating.

Dumbledore smiled and shook his head, and used his wand to release Pudding from her restraints: "Alison, Pudding just wants to dance... Don't you think that's cute?"

I'm afraid this pudding would never have thought until his death that after being created, he would have the honor of being cast a spell by the Elder Wand, one of the three legendary Deathly Hallows.

Alison glared at him in anger and continued to cast a spell on Pudding without giving up.

She didn't want anything moving to dance in her mouth, as it would remind her of those Korean guys who ate raw octopus tentacles and suffocated to death because they had them sucked into their throats.

"Split into pieces!"

The pudding was perfectly cut into quarters, but still twisted.

Or is creeping more appropriate?

!!!

Alison's eyes widened as she had not expected Pudding to be so tenacious.

Dumbledore, who had watched the whole process, coughed lightly, trying to hide his smile. At this moment, he didn't want to think about Alison's perfect spellcasting process at all, and was only immersed in this little comedy.

"Alison, I understand your...passion for food. But perhaps we could enjoy it in a more gentle way?"

Grindelwald laughed unabashedly and looked at his daughter jokingly: "It looks like we have a little warrior here!"

Bathilda looked at Alison with some concern. "Honey, maybe you could try a small bite first? It's really delicious."

Following Bathilda's suggestion, Alison solemnly scooped up a piece of twisting pudding meat and stuffed it into her mouth. Suddenly, her eyes lit up and her expression softened.

The rich aroma of milk and eggs melts in your mouth, leaving behind a hint of sweetness and a slightly bitter aroma of caramel.

The two centenarians, who seemed young at heart, laughed together, and only the kind Bathilda was truly relieved.

"I told you it was delicious, right? Do you want something else?"

Wiping away the tears from his eyes, Dumbledore regained his composure and said gently, "It seems you like this dessert."

Grindelwald then added, still smiling, after all, Alison was sometimes too rebellious.

"Maybe next time you can taste it before deciding whether to attack it."

The waiter came over, looked at the little wizard with a smile in his eyes, and asked politely if he needed more dishes.

Alison hesitantly ordered the mysterious dish Bathilda had mentioned earlier.

This shop is really efficient, maybe because of magic. Anyway, a few moments later, a silver bowl with colorful smoke coming out was brought up.

The waiter who served the dishes acted mysterious.

"Please enjoy our 'Rainbow Surprise'."

Dumbledore looked at the bowl curiously: "It seems that today's mysterious dish is very interesting."

Grindelwald raised his eyebrows and said deliberately for the little wizard to hear: "I hope it's not something that will explode."

Bathilda encouraged the little wizard to open the surprises he ordered.

When Alison heard Grindelwald guess that it was something that would explode, her face tensed as if she was defusing a bomb.

Although she thought it was unlikely, what if it happened? British wizards were very tolerant of jokes. Even if it was a trick on the food, most people would just laugh it off or even use it as a bragging point.

So she quickly used a silent armor spell to surround the bowl from the opposite side, and then used a levitation spell to make the lid fly up.

Dumbledore had a subtle expression. He didn't know whether he should praise Alison for her cautious behavior.

This kid thinks he fits in with Slytherin, at least when it comes to being cautious... um...

"Alison, you have good control over your magic, but we don't usually need to be so cautious in a restaurant."

"…It seems that our little warrior has a strong fighting spirit." Grindelwald couldn't suppress his happy smile at his successful prank.

Bathilda didn't know whether to laugh or cry. At the same time, she glared at Gale, who was so old and still mischievous to her daughter: "Honey, this is just a dish..."

When the lid was removed, a cloud of colored smoke rose up and condensed into the shapes of various small animals. On the plate was a colorful dessert that looked like it was made of various fruits and cream.

The waiter then smiled and explained, "This is our special rainbow jelly cake, served with a magic smoke show. It's completely safe, please feel free to enjoy it."

The second half of the sentence seemed like a complete guarantee to Alison.
