Hogwarts: I am the White Lord

Chapter 409: The Exam in Memory

"Enter!"

As soon as Snape finished speaking, the door slammed open and Karkaroff walked in quickly.

"Severus, I...oh, excuse me, are you tutoring your students? Isn't this Harry Potter the Warrior."

Looking at Harry who was with Snape, Karkaroff's eyes lit up for a moment, but they quickly disappeared, leaving only a hint of just the right amount of surprise on his face.

Harry frowned involuntarily. Although there was no obvious hostility in the other person's expression, that look made him feel very uncomfortable. There was something in the other person's eyes that he could not understand, as if the other person found it a very novel thing for him to study with Professor Snape.

At this moment, Harry had a strong urge to use Legilimency to see what the other person was thinking, but he held it back. After all, Karkaroff was the headmaster of a school. If he was caught by the other party, it would bring disgrace to Hogwarts.

Snape seemed to have noticed some subtle changes in Karkaroff's eyes. He sat on the chair, his hands lightly folded, his tone cold and with a hint of impatience that could not be concealed.

"Potter is my assistant. I am giving him some instructions on work, Karkaroff. If you have something to say, please speak directly and don't waste time on insignificant small talk."

Karkaroff glanced at Snape, then looked at Harry again, and said hesitantly: "Uh...this matter..."

"Potter," Snape pointed to the bedroom door, "go to your room and wait for a moment. I will receive Headmaster Karkaroff first."

Harry nodded, without further questioning, stood up and walked towards Snape's bedroom.

After confirming that the door was completely closed, Snape raised his wand and cast an ear-blocking charm in the direction of the bedroom door. Then he looked at Karkaroff and signaled him to start speaking.

"Severus, your relationship with this savior is somewhat unusual..."

"Speak to the point," Snape said coldly. "My time is valuable."

"It's like this," Karkaroff restrained his smile and cleared his throat, "I want to ask, have you mentioned the matter I asked you to do yesterday to Dumbledore?"

Ah--

Come to act again.

This is treating yourself as a soft persimmon.

Am I so easy to deceive in his eyes?

Snape curled the corners of his mouth and invited the other party to sit down, ready to have some fun with him.

On the other side, Harry looked around Snape's bedroom, trying to find a chair to sit down.

Although the room was not big, it was well-organized, with a hint of exquisite coldness everywhere. The stone walls were as black as ink, and the magic lamp on the ceiling emitted a soft light, shrouding the room in a low-key but calm atmosphere.

On one side of the wall was a black desk made by Swann Alchemy. The texture of the tabletop glowed delicately under the light, and it was obviously well maintained. On the desk were several heavy potion books and a small ink bottle neatly placed, and in the middle of the desk was a strange object he had never seen before.

It was a shallow basin, with ancient runes carved all over the wall, and a faint silver light flowing. The silver substance in the basin kept spinning, and the ripples flowed like tiny starlight, with faint spots of light appearing from time to time, as if some unspeakable power was surging in it.

what is this?

Harry was filled with curiosity; it was the first time he had seen such a strange alchemical item.

He took two steps forward, came to the table, drew out his wand and used his magic perception to sense it a little.

Well, it's not a dark magic item, and it doesn't feel dangerous. It seems that this is just an ordinary alchemical item.

He poked the substance in the basin lightly with the tip of his wand, and instantly, the silver substance began to spin rapidly until it became transparent.

This picture looks a little familiar.

Harry leaned over and took a closer look, confirming that this was a bird's-eye view of the Great Hall.

Interesting, is this the alchemical item the professors use to catch night-wandering students? Like the twins' Marauder's Map?

Can I only watch the auditorium?

Can I look somewhere else?

How to do it?

Harry couldn't help but reach out and gently touch the Great Hall in the basin.

Then he felt himself spinning rapidly in the darkness until he stood steadily in the center of the auditorium.

The four long college tables were gone, replaced by more than a hundred neatly arranged small tables, with a student sitting at each table.

They bent their heads over their desks, their quills moving quickly across the parchment, making slight rustling sounds. Occasionally someone would flip the parchment or adjust their posture, and those subtle movements seemed to be infinitely magnified and could be clearly heard in the silent hall.

The tall windows flooded the entire hall with sunlight, which penetrated the dust in the air and shone on every lowered head.

Eh? This is indeed an auditorium, but not the current one. It's night time now, so there won't be this kind of sunlight.

This scene seems to be an exam, and it feels like watching a movie in the cinema in Hogsmeade New Town.

Harry suddenly recalled a sentence from the ticket boy when introducing different movies: "Shut back and forth between various characters and experience all the details of the movie personally, just like using a Pensieve."

So… this is the Pensieve?

In other words, this is Professor Snape's memory, and he is taking the OWL exam!

What about Professor Snape?

Harry looked around and found that the boy on his right looked very familiar.

This is... young Professor Snape!!!

Harry rubbed his eyes, making sure he was not seeing things.

The professor in front of me was wearing a school uniform. He looked about fifteen or sixteen years old, about the same age as me. He looked very strong, but his face was a little pale.

However, his hair was not long and hung on his shoulders like it is now, but much shorter. It looked about the same length as Ron and Malfoy's hair, and he had a very trendy hairstyle.

All in all, he looked so different from now that Harry couldn't believe it was the same person.

He looks much more handsome like this than now. Why did the professor change his hairstyle?

Harry was so excited that he felt like he had discovered a new world.

Since Professor Snape is here, Professor Swann, Aunt Mia, and his parents must be here too. After all, they are all students in the same grade.

Sure enough, in front of Snape's left, Harry found the young Sebastian. He didn't look much different from now, except that he was much younger overall. His test paper was filled with writing, and he was now doing the final check.

Continuing to walk forward, Harry recognized young Aunt Mia, his mother, and a boy with shaggy black hair.
