Hogwarts: I am the White Lord

Chapter 244 Let’s go to Hogsmeade

Professor Swan's patronus is a dragon!

This news spread throughout Hogwarts like a gust of wind, deeply shocking all the young wizards.

"Have you heard that Professor Swan's dragon patronus is very large. It flies in the sky and lights up the entire night sky, like a huge magic lamp."

"I didn't even have to hear that. I was there just now. When the professor's patronus appeared, I thought it was daybreak."

"I regret it. I left as soon as the get out of class was over. If I had known, I would have stayed in the Duel Hall a little longer. I have never seen a Patronus in the shape of a magical animal."

"I heard that the professor's Patronus easily killed a large number of Dementors in seconds. Is this true?"

"Of course it's true. I saw it with my own eyes. Wherever the professor's dragon went, all the Dementors fled. It was as majestic as it could be."

Inspired by this news, many young wizards got up early the next morning and went straight to the dueling hall to practice the Patronus Charm.

The little ones all fantasized that their own patronus could be as cool as the professor's dragon.

To put it another way, even if the dragon cannot be released, it would be good to practice to develop a physical guardian as soon as possible.

Professor Swan said last night that when thirty people are able to release physical guardian angels, he will lead everyone to start the next step of the learning plan.

That is to let everyone's patronus experience actual combat.

According to the professor, only those who can release the Patronus under the pressure of the Dementors can be considered true masters.

The young wizards became more motivated than ever at the thought of using their patronus to beat up the Dementors.

This also resulted in the fact that at the Quidditch school team tryouts on Saturday morning, there were basically no spectators except for the players participating in the tryouts.

Nearing noon, the coolness of the early morning had been evaporated by the sun, and the air was filled with the fragrance of grass, which made people feel extremely pleasant.

After the trials, Harry returned to the dormitory, changed into some simple clothes, and then walked briskly towards the school gate with Ron and Hermione.

For these third-year students, today is their first time going to Hogsmeade.

"I'm still right," Ron said excitedly, "This year's school team selection is nothing to watch. It's still you seven, Harry."

“Like I said at the start-of-term dinner, this is our dream team.”

"Just wait and see, we will definitely win the Wizarding School Quidditch Cup again this year."

"Trust me, I took a divination class this year, Bao Ling!"

"Thanks for your words, Ron." Harry smiled happily. "To be honest, I really want to go to the Dueling Hall to practice the Patronus Charm again."

"I want to see if I can still easily release the Patronus without the assistance of the professor and Luna."

"Let's go play in Hogsmeade first, and then practice when we come back," said Ron. "I also want to release a corporeal Patronus as soon as possible."

"Honestly, I have a feeling that my patronus will be as mighty as Professor Swan's dragon. Even if it's not a dragon, it will be a mammoth or a giant or something."

"Ron," Hermione smiled and shook her head, "Most wizards' Patronuses are in the form of ordinary animals. Patronuses in the form of magical animals are very rare."

"As for the giant guardian you mentioned, in history, only the invincible Andros could release it."

"Hermione," said Ron indignantly, "it's called a dream!"

"No one has stipulated that my Patronus can't be in the form of a magical creature, right?"

"If I could release a special patronus, I'd be famous."

"Okay, then go for it, Ron."

Hermione walked up to Harry, her face full of worry: "Harry, are you sure it won't be dangerous to go out?"

"I mean, that guy is still at large, what if he's lurking in Hogsmeade..."

Harry turned to look at her and smiled, trying to allay her concerns.

"Hermione, don't worry. Professor Swann told me that as long as I don't go anywhere outside of Hogsmeade, I won't be in danger."

"The professor said that there have been major changes in Hogsmeade. Even the Auror Office has opened a branch here. There are always Aurors patrolling the village to protect everyone's safety."

"I know that," Ron shouted. "Hogsmeade has been expanded."

"The news these days has been all about Hogsmeade. It's completely different there."

"If it was just a village before, it is now a city."

"It's a pity that it was cloudy every day for the past few days, and I couldn't see Hogsmeade clearly from the castle."

"Luckily the weather is nice today. Let's walk faster. There are so many people going there right now."

"I heard that the Three Broomsticks has changed a lot. I want to try their signature dishes and then take a good walk around the new town."

Thinking about sitting in the Three Broomsticks, drinking a cold butterbeer and ordering a steaming hot lunch, Ron wanted to pull the two of them and run.

After a while, the three finally arrived at the gate of Hogwarts.

After passing the Dementor sentry post, they were all stunned by the sight before them.

The familiar, gravelly dirt road that had led to Hogsmeade was gone.

Instead, there is a wide and smooth concrete road with an extremely clean road surface and neatly arranged street lights on both sides, extending into the distance.

What was even more surprising was that a platform was set up on the side of the road, and there were several small white shuttle buses parked next to the platform.

Each car was clean and tidy. Several students were queuing up in an orderly manner to get on the cars, and cheerful laughter could be heard.

"Merlin!" Ron was stunned. "Such a big change, this is too exaggerated."

Looking at the sign at the station, he couldn't help but read: "Knight Shuttle, between Hogsmeade and Hogwarts, fare one silver Sickle."

Harry and the other two looked at each other and could see the excitement in each other's eyes.

"Take the bus?"

"Of course you sit down!"

“I can’t wait to go there and take a look around.”

They cheered and lined up with other students to board the shuttle bus.

The driver in the car smiled and kept introducing the changes in Hogsmeade to the students.

"I'm a villager of Hogsmeade. To make it easier for students to visit Hogsmeade, I work part-time as a driver for the Knight Shuttle on weekends."

"Today is the first day many stores are open and they are offering various discounts."

“Students can stroll around as much as they want.”

"Okay, it's full, let's go!"

The car started smoothly and drove towards Hogsmeade with a full car of students.
