The most powerful wizard in the magic world

Chapter 170 The Collapse of the Situation

"Chase him!" Ellie shouted loudly, her voice echoing in the empty corridor. Her eyes were as firm as fire, and she had long regarded the wolf's beard flower as the key to her promotion to the third-level apprentice. "He won't get far. This is the academy, and he is not familiar enough with all the witchcraft!"

Her companion Bob followed closely and said breathlessly: "But, Ellie, he knows we are chasing him, he will definitely fight back with all his strength!" There was a hint of hesitation in his voice.

"Don't worry, I'm not afraid." Ellie's steps did not stop at all, but instead quickened, her heart filled with excitement and anticipation. If she could get the wolf's beard flower, her alchemy would reach an unprecedented height.

The two followed closely behind Mankro and saw him stop at the corner, panting. The wolf's beard flower in his hand was particularly conspicuous under the sunset. Bob whispered as he ran, "We must find a way to grab the flower. It's hard for him to fight against the two of us alone."

Ellie smiled slightly, with a cunning gleam in her eyes: "I will attract his attention, and you attack from behind."

"This...isn't it a bit bad?" Bob asked uneasily.

"Don't hesitate, hurry up!" Ellie was merciless and had already begun to cast a simple illusion spell, trying to create an avatar that was exactly like her.

Mankro noticed the movement and turned his head suddenly, with panic in his eyes. "You want wolf beard flowers? No way!" He immediately ran in the other direction.

"Here I come!" Ellie shouted to Mankro, and the phantom she created began to run in sync with her, confusing Mankro's vision.

In a panic, Mankro almost instinctively fell back, trying to avoid Ellie's pursuit, but he didn't notice that Bob was approaching from the side. "Stop!" Bob yelled, cutting off Mankro's retreat.

"You two, don't force me!" Mankro turned around, holding the wolf's beard flower tighter in his hand. "I found this, why should you take it!"

"Because your skills are not mature enough." Ellie said, her voice became gentle, "We all know the importance of wolf beard flower, but you have to admit that you can't use it properly now."

"I won't give it to you!" Mankro replied angrily, with a hint of fear in his eyes.

"Do you want to destroy it? If you continue like this, the wolf's beard flower will be crushed to pieces!" Bob approached, with an invisible pressure.

"Let go! I don't need your charity!" Mankro's voice became more agitated, and his eyes were almost desperate. His hands trembled slightly, but his eyes revealed an unyielding stubbornness.

Ellie finally took a step forward and tried to speak in a calmer tone: "Mankro, we don't want to hurt you, we just want to practice more advanced magic together. The wolf's beard flower is not for a single apprentice, but an opportunity. Give it up, we can work together and help each other to win together."

"You don't understand me at all!" Mankro's voice was almost a roar, and the muscles on his cheeks were tense.

"Perhaps we can understand." Ellie nodded firmly, showing her sincerity. "Cooperation is the smarter choice. We are not enemies."

At this moment, perhaps out of excitement or panic, Mankro seemed to have decided on something crazy. He gritted his teeth and threw the wolf beard flower to the side. The flower flew out of his palm and rushed straight into the bushes in the distance.

"Go and catch the wolfwhisker flower!" Ellie reacted immediately, her heart panicking and naturally ignoring Mankro's motives.

Bob didn't care about anything else and rushed forward immediately, trying to catch the precious material that flew out. Ellie turned around, thinking that Mankro would take the opportunity to escape, but unexpectedly, Mankro ignored his lack of advantage and continued to run towards Ellie.

"Are you crazy?" Ellie exclaimed.

"I will never let you touch the wolf's beard flower!" Mankro roared, anger and despair intertwined. He tried to fight back with magic, but in the ever-changing battle, his skills seemed powerless and eventually backfired on him.

"Go!" Bob threw down the wolf's beard flower and shouted back to Ellie. "We have to stop him!"

"You are such an idiot!" Ellie hurried after him, feeling more and more the fluctuations of magic. "I'm going to teach you a lesson!"

As the two chased Mankro, fear and anger accumulated in his heart. His magic gradually got out of control, and finally burst out with a powerful energy, trying to repel Ellie and Bob.

"This is not a solution!" Ellie shouted, worrying in her heart.

Denmark's mysterious power flowed with Mankro's anger, and the air suddenly became stinging. She took the initiative to defend herself, and the space around her seemed to be torn apart.

"He will turn this place into ruins!" Bob stopped suddenly, realizing the seriousness of the situation. He then turned around and focused all his attention on Mankro's attack.

Ellie also understands the urgency. In this case, facing Mankro's madness, a way to restrain must be found. They need to unite to deal with the coming crisis.

"Mankro, stop!" Ellie tried his best, his voice full of strength. But in the abyss of confusion and despair, he could not see the sincerity and desire of his companions, only endless panic.

"Stop resisting!" she continued to shout, "We should unite instead of fight!"

However, Mankro's magic power was getting out of control, and his figure was swaying like a candle in the wind. His expression was distorted, tears were rolling in his eyes but he was unwilling to let them fall, and he bore this huge responsibility alone.

A loud bang came from beside them, and the harsh sound waves vibrated in the air, as if the entire academy was trembling because of this fight.

Just as Ellie and Bob tried to work together, the surrounding environment suddenly changed. The magical energy instantly turned into a vortex, swallowing up all reason and ideals.

"You forced me!" Mankro's voice echoed in the environment, a cry of pain and a manifestation of struggle.

In an instant, countless debris was sucked into the vortex, and the wind was howling, as if foreshadowing the collapse of the situation.

"Protect yourself!" Bob shouted, his heart filled with anxiety. "We have to run!"
