Hogwarts's Master of Mind

Chapter 421: Reunion at the Hog's Head Bar, Ethan's Choice

"What about you, are you going to leave with me?" Ron glanced at Hermione.

"Ron..." Hermione sobbed painfully, "Yes - yes, I want to stay. We agreed to help Harry. Have you forgotten..."

"I understand. You chose him." Ron put on his bag, opened the door curtain, and walked directly into the rain.

"Ron, Ron!" Hermione chased after him.

Harry felt a spatial fluctuation coming from outside the tent.

After a while, Hermione, who was soaked by the rain, came back with a depressed look, tears streaming down her face, "Ron Apparated and left."

Harry picked up Ron's blanket and covered Hermione with it.

His mind was confused. He bent down to pick up the Horcrux, hung it around his neck, then climbed onto his bed, stared at the dark roof of the tent and listened to the sound of heavy rain.

......

On the other side, the new ruler of hell wandered with his big black dog and finally came to Hogsmeade.

Since the two men basically fought secretly, few people saw their faces when they were fighting against the search team. Only the legend of the mysterious attacker circulated in the entire search team.

Ethan took Sirius all the way to the front of the Hog's Head Pub and knocked hard on the door.

"Closed today, idiot, can't you understand the sign?" a loud voice in the Pig's Head Bar shouted.

"Mr. Aberforth, it's us." Ethan had met Aberforth before, so he heard Dumbledore calling his name.

After a while, the door was opened by Aberforth. He carefully looked around and let the two in after confirming that there were no followers.

Ethan led Sirius all the way to a room on the second floor, and when they opened the door, they saw two frail and old men playing wizard chess inside.

Sirius instantly changed from a black dog into a human being, and he couldn't believe that he could still see the old man in front of him.

"Professor Dumbledore! How is this possible..." Sirius' voice was a little hoarse due to sobbing.

"Oh, Sirius, long time no see." Dumbledore's smile was a little gentle. It was undoubtedly a blessing to see his student standing in front of him in good health in such a turbulent era.

"You...you are still alive...I mean, why..." Sirius was so shocked by this sudden surprise that he was a little incoherent.

"Why not stand up and lead you to fight against Voldemort?" Even though Dumbledore had lost the huge magical power brought by his hatred, he was still the most skilled white wizard in the world.

"..." Sirius fell silent, Dumbledore did speak his mind.

"Because I am old, Sirius, my heart is not as strong as it used to be, and I can no longer suppress my resentment." Dumbledore stretched out his skinny hand.

"Can....."

Sirius' words were cut off by Grindelwald's cold snort.

"Humph, young wizards nowadays are all spoiled by you."

"Then who are you?" Sirius turned his gaze to Grindelwald.

"Gellert Grindelwald." Grindelwald raised his head slightly.

"I don't know him." Although Sirius was secretly frightened by this dark wizard who wreaked havoc in Europe sixty years ago, he did not lose the battle.

"Hmph..." Grindelwald snorted for the second time, and Dumbledore reached out and patted him.

"Remember when I told you about the original intention of establishing the Order of the Phoenix?" Dumbledore looked at a portrait in the distance, with reminiscence in his eyes.

"Fight against... those who use the Deep World to do evil." Sirius hesitated and told the warnings of his predecessors when he joined the Order of the Phoenix.

"Yes, most of the people who joined the Order of the Phoenix before you are no longer with us. It is time for an old man like me to make way for you young people. After all, young people are where the hope lies."

Dumbledore turned and looked at Ethan. During this period of fighting with the Death Eaters, he had become somewhat accustomed to the power of Hell and was able to control the devil's fire well.

"Mr Beckett," Dumbledore called out his name.

"Principal..." Ethan walked forward.

"Don't call me principal, I'm no longer..."

"No, in our hearts you will always be the headmaster of Hogwarts!" they both said at the same time.

"It's an honor." Dumbledore blushed, but the two people in front of him couldn't see it.

"Mr. Beckett, are you willing to join the Order of the Phoenix?" Dumbledore asked Ethan's opinion seriously.

"Hey!" Grindelwald, who was standing next to him, saw Dumbledore's blatant poaching behavior and spoke out to stop him.

"What's the good of joining the Order of the Phoenix? Go to Europe now, and I will gather the forces of the saints and let you command them, as long as you don't forget the agreement with me." After Grindelwald said this, he looked at Dumbledore provocatively.

"Alas." Dumbledore also knew that people become more childish as they get older, and he didn't want to argue with Grindelwald.

"I'm sorry, professor." Ethan thought for a while and chose to refuse.

"Hmph." The old lover next to Dumbledore hummed with satisfaction, while Dumbledore looked at Ethan curiously.

"May I know why?"

"Because of this, Professor, I have found the path forward that I want, not only for the sake of my promise to Grindelwald, but also for my parents."

As he spoke, Ethan took out from the pocket of the Traceless Extension Charm a book he had written during this period, a brief analysis of the social conflicts between wizards and Muggles.

Dumbledore and Grindelwald read Ethan's manuscript separately. In the paper, Ethan elaborated in detail the contradictions in survival, culture, production and other aspects between wizards, an elite group that can leave the social system at any time, and Muggles who are highly dependent on the operation of the social system.

"So what solutions can you offer to our conflict? Don't tell me you plan to kill all the Muggles too."

Dumbledore put down his paper with some seriousness. After all, the last wizard who could deeply analyze the strengths and weaknesses of both sides and make a dynamic assessment of them was now sitting next to him.

"There are two ways. The first is to build a wizarding world that belongs to us alone. The second is to let Muggles become wizards as well." Ethan smiled and pulled out a silver thread from the air.

"The First Project?" Dumbledore looked at it in a trance.

"What, what are you talking about, letting Muggles become wizards?" Grindelwald was extremely surprised.

Dumbledore and Ethan talked back and forth about what Aiden had created to resolve the conflict between the two sides.

"Merciful Mary, the things underground can actually be used like this. It would be great if He was born in our time. No, He can go back to the past. Why?" Grindelwald murmured.

"For His own birth, Aiden said that he cannot disrupt the direction of the times, otherwise it will affect His own appearance." Ethan shrugged.
