Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Chapter 48: The Scapegoat (for the "Eternal Emperor")

No one told anyone else, they both woke up secretly.

Luna's pajamas were on her body, and it was obvious at first glance that she had changed them secretly;

Anriel...if he wasn't awake, how did the two of them get to the bed? Did they fly up?

When she woke up the next morning, no matter how thoughtful Luna was or how thick-skinned she was when dealing with Anriel, she couldn't stand such a situation.

Anriel was better. He touched his nose and left a casual back view to Luna, whose cheeks were flushed.

"You change your clothes first, I'll get you breakfast."

Luna's face turned even redder...

After breakfast, Anriel sent Luna to class. Considering the current situation, it was good to be sent to the classroom by a reliable guy.

After sending Luna off, Anriel returned to the principal's office.

Snape is quite knowledgeable about the ways of the world, and is not as bad as Malfoy praises him to be in the original book.

In fact, when the headmaster's office belonged entirely to Anriel, Snape usually walked around the headmaster's office...

Although Dumbledore may have avoided Anriel and went to look for Horcruxes by himself, Anriel still cannot leave school...at least for the time being.

Dumbledore now seemed to have regained some of his youthful vitality. He did not even need Slughorn's memory to confirm the existence of the Horcruxes. He had already set out to find, or to destroy, one or even several of them.

Voldemort fainted in the toilet (?)

Let's talk about Hagrid.

Originally, Anriel had no intention of letting Hagrid be taken away by the Aurors from the Ministry of Magic.

However, before leaving, Dumbledore warned Anriel that resisting arrest would make things more troublesome.

Anriel scoffed at this.

He was clearly capable of turning the Ministry of Magic upside down and turning the Auror's office into a slaughterhouse, but he still thought about Fudge's official hat.

He really made me cry to death.

But since Dumbledore has spoken, Anriel just has to do as he is told.

What else can I do? Slap him in the face?

Anriel didn't want to do that.

So our gamekeeper was taken to Azkaban again, and even before leaving he still believed that Dumbledore would rescue him.

As Anriel thought about it, a subtle expression appeared on his face:

You silly guy, this is like the principal sending you to jail...

The main reason why things became troublesome was that after stirring up the hornet's nest of the Ministry of Magic, there was no way to completely eliminate the problem and shut them up completely.

But Anriel can do this...

I don’t know what Old Deng is worried about.

......

During lunch, Anriel paid special attention to Ginny.

To be honest, she was in a very bad condition.

She was sitting alone at the Gryffindor table, looking very conflicted, with her hands tightly clasped together, staring at the bread on the plate in front of her as if she had a grudge against it.

Anriel looked away and continued eating his steak.

But he soon found that he couldn't seem to finish his lunch peacefully.

This time it happened at the staff table.

After taking a closer look, Anriel almost dropped his knife and fork:

Professor McGonagall and Gilderoy Lockhart had a fight?!

The usually calm and dignified Minerva McGonagall had an argument with the tactless fool, Gilderoy Lockhart?

Anriel didn't believe it, he wanted to hear what was going on.

"That's enough, Professor Lockhart! Hagrid is absolutely innocent, and we all believe it!"

"But that's impossible, Minerva. The Ministry wouldn't have taken Hagrid straight to Azkaban if they didn't have solid, accurate evidence."

After just two sentences, Anriel could already guess the whole story:

Lockhart used his usual trick -

Boasting and then praising and criticizing others.

Professor McGonagall was so angry that she probably retorted casually.

Then Lockhart "argued with reason" and McGonagall was unable to do anything.

Just looking at what the two said, you can tell that Professor McGonagall has always maintained her manners. Even when talking to trash like Lockhart, she would add the title of "Professor" at the end.

But that rubbish didn't pay any attention to this when he was speaking.

After hearing this, Anriel wanted to go up and slap this guy to death.

But on second thought, he was just a two-armed man, and his crime was not punishable by death.

Amnesia is the most suitable fate for Lockhart, no doubt about it... much more suitable than death.

After Luna finished eating, Anriel left the cafeteria with Luna.

This is no longer a good place to stay.

Also, the mandrake is coming of age.

To the rest of the school, it means that the petrified will be restored.

They will then reveal the identity of the murderer.

For Anriel, the maturity of the Mandrake means that all the events of this year are about to come to an end.

......

"That's it."

Professor McGonagall's voice sounded weak and sad.

The bloody words on the wall cast a bright red, eerie light.

Anriel looked up at the two lines of words that were taller than him...

How did Ginny get written on it? (annoyed)

Professor McGonagall used magic to amplify the sound many times and notified all students to return to the common room.

Afterwards, he and Anriel immediately rushed to the staff lounge.

All the teachers gathered there at this moment.

Even Gilderoy Lockhart...

At least he should be there.

"Another incident has occurred. A student was abducted by a monster and taken directly into the secret room."

Professor McGonagall said in a low voice.

The professors expressed their shock in their own way.

"How did you know?"

It was Snape who remained calm and pointed out the root of the problem in one sentence.

"The heir of Slytherin, he left another line of words, just below the last paragraph."

Professor McGonagall took a deep breath.

"Her bones will remain in the secret chamber forever."

Ginny Weasley.

When McGonagall said the words "Ginny Weasley", Anriel heard, or he already knew who was hiding in the closet over there.

But he still pretended:

"Who's there! Come out, I'll give you three seconds!"

Harry and Ron, whose legs were weak, pushed open the wardrobe door. The latter looked lifeless and the former looked anxious.

"Snake! It's a basilisk! Slytherin's monster is a basilisk!"

Harry said quickly.

"Tell me something we don't know, Potter."

Snape said coldly.

Suddenly, the door opened with a loud noise.

"Sorry - took a nap - what did I miss?"

A scapegoat who is extremely suitable to take the blame and has the ability to break this suffocating atmosphere appears.

Sure enough, as soon as Lockhart appeared, everyone's conflicts immediately turned towards him.

"Ah, that's great, someone who can solve the problem is here."

Snape said sarcastically.

"Gilderoy, a girl has been captured in a secret room, and now is your time to show your skills.

Didn't you say you already knew what the monster in the secret room was?

Where is the secret room? How was it opened? Didn't you say you knew everything?"
