Li Xueyue did not expect that the foreign envoys from Nanhui would arrive so soon. They came less than a week after she and Yu Zhen discussed it.

The emperor held a private party in an open space near the palace. Behind the party was a huge lawn covered with carefully manicured grass. Behind the lawn was a heavily guarded forest.

"This feeling is so familiar." Li Xueyue muttered to herself.

Princess Mengjie turned her head to look at the handsome man and gave him a beautiful smile.

Mrs. Guberning nearly choked on her tea. She quickly regained her composure. Fortunately, no one saw the elegant woman make a mistake. She took another sip of her tea and tried to hide a smile of amusement.

His Royal Highness the Crown Prince ignored her words, but glanced at Li Xueyue's empty plate, frowned, and his eyes fell on the various snacks in front of him.

Li Xueyue then realized that the biscuit had been stolen by the foreign princess and had broken into pieces on the ground. A perfect piece of cake was wasted like this. It must have been a servant who spent the whole morning carving the mold...
