Li Xueyue's robe clung to her body and was soaked with sweat. Her breathing became rapid and her face flushed red.

Yu Zhen could feel the rise and fall of her chest as she panted beneath him. She was a great fighter, skilled not only in swordsmanship but also in martial arts. He admired that about her.

"Do you want to take a break?" asked Li Xueyue who was pressed to the ground.

Yu Zhen chuckled, his dark eyes flickering with unspoken words. He dropped the sword, but didn't give her a chance to get up. His arms fell on either side of her head.

“We could do this all day.”

"I thought you were going to teach me something new."

"That depends on where you want to learn," he teased, leaning down to lean over her. "The bed? Or here?"

Li Xueyue tilted her head. "Then let's go to bed."

Yu Zhen was caught off guard. His eyes darkened as suggestive images flashed through his mind—they were in the same position, except that she was naked, writhing beneath him.

His jaw tightened. "Such teasing will not go unpunished."

Li Xueyue looked up and smiled at him, reaching out to cup his face. She felt his jaw clench under her thumb. His obsidian eyes were filled with a fire that burned her.

"Snow Moon," he warned, but she ignored him. Her fingers explored more of him, from the sharp line of his jaw to his throat. Her touch was teasing, gentle.

Suddenly, his hands shot out and grasped her wrists. His sharp eyes narrowed. "We should stop."

"why?"

"Otherwise we'll do something you'll regret."

"I doubt it."

He placed his hands on top of her head, and in one smooth movement, he captured her lips roughly. His kisses were always cruel, sharp, yet hot. She struggled against his attack, her eyes trembling closed.

He thrust his tongue into her mouth, exploring every crevice of her mouth. He had never tasted anything as sweet as she was. She would be the death of him - the drug that would lead to his addiction. When she moaned softly, his heart froze in an instant.

When he reluctantly released her, she moaned in protest, her upper body lifting up, wanting more.

Yu Zhen felt like he was going crazy. She shouldn't let her guard down like that. How many times did he have to remind her? Was she like this to every man? Jealousy washed over him. Without warning, he pressed his lips against hers again. Their lips moved violently. He was completely dominating her.

By the time they finished, her lips were bruised and bright red. Her eyes were watery and gentle, beckoning him to continue. But he couldn't.

"Do you still have doubts?" he whispered against her lips and kissed her lips gently again.

Li Xueyue couldn't think straight. Her mind was still immersed in this kiss. She looked dazed and her vision was a little blurry, but she could see him clearly - from his sharp eyebrows to his burning eyes, from his angular nose to his irresistible lips.

She shook her head silently.

"Okay." He let her go and stormed off.

Yu Zhen really wanted to bang his head against the wall. "You low-energy, low-energy, stupid man!" He roared at himself. He clenched his fingers into fists and groaned.

Twice. He had attacked her twice.

All the control he had exercised flew out the window.

Still, he enjoyed the kiss so much that it took all his strength to not enter the training ground. He was already near the entrance, with his back to the field, forcing himself to regain composure.

Yu Zhen had no choice but to leave her there. If she continued to irritate him, things would get out of control.

Yu Zhen had no regrets about his actions, but he felt a little guilty. What if she wanted their first kiss to be slow and gentle? He was not the kind of man who could be affectionate and caressing. He was too cruel and rough for those things.

"Yu Zhen?"

He didn't need to be called twice. Her voice immediately made him turn around.

Yu Zhen saw that her lips were still red and clenched his fists. "Sunshine." He greeted her.

Li Xueyue blinked. She was confused by his nervous voice, as if his patience was at risk.

"Come here, my little hamster." He waved to her and she took a small step forward. He closed the distance between them and held her face in his hands.

Yu Zhen's jaw twitched, frustrated with himself. He had taken advantage of her twice, and she still welcomed him. What was he supposed to do with her?

He sighed softly, a trace of guilt flashing in his eyes. He wanted to cherish her, not treat her so blatantly. Was she angry with him? He looked down and saw her smiling up at him innocently, and when their eyes met, she blinked. She smiled foolishly and hugged him, not noticing the conflict in his heart.

"Does it hurt?" he muttered, finally letting what was happening in. His thumb brushed across her bruised lip.

“I know how to make it feel better.”

"how?"

"One more kiss—"

Before she could finish the thought, he pressed his lips to hers. This time, it was a slow, painful kiss. He was careful with her, patiently learning her idiosyncrasies. He kissed her as if he cherished this moment as if it were his last.

When he pulled away to let her breathe, he kissed her forehead, his lips lingering there.

"Better now?" he teased.

Yu Zhen ignored the prickly guilt in his heart, but couldn't help but worry about her. Is she really satisfied with this?

The thought of hurting her terrified him.

He placed one hand behind her head and the other on her back, pressing her against him.

Li Xueyue was confused by their sudden embrace. Yu Zhen held her like her life depended on it. He rested his cheek on the top of her head affectionately and held her tightly with his arms. She enjoyed the warmth radiating from him. In his arms, she felt the safest she could. She hoped they could stay like this, but sometimes her prayers were never answered - this was one of them.
