"You called us?" "What's the matter?" Li Wenmin asked as he walked into the private study, only to see several scrolls spread out on the table.

As soon as Li Chenyang saw his sons, he picked up a scroll and began to roll it up. "Yes, I heard an interesting question yesterday."

“Is there anyone visiting?” Li Wenmin asked when he found that a large piece was missing from the bookshelf. What book was his father reading so early in the morning?

"Yes."

"WHO?" Li Chenyang asked, who was left at the door. The conversation didn't last long, and breakfast was soon ready. His mother didn't like them to be late for dinner. This was one of the rare times they were together, so she cherished these special times the most.

"Li Chenyang replied: "Han Jian Duwei Yu Zhen." The air was filled with dissenting voices. "Did you see anyone escape from Xueyue's room?"

"No, why should I do this?" Li Wenmin scratched the back of his head, not paying any attention to the facts in front of him. "What does Yu Zhen want to say?"

"Are you sure no one left?"

"Yes, I'm sure." Li Wenmin frowned. "Is there anything I should know?"

"It's okay." Prince Li Chenyang responded. He didn't know if Yu Zhen had enough integrity to leave without staying overnight. As Xueyue's guardian, the Duke would rather Yu Zhen leave after comforting her. He shouldn't cross the line like a certain Wuyi commander did.

"Yu Zhen's question is so strange that I can't help but wonder who else has thought of this," said Li Chenyang. He motioned for his sons to walk and talk with him so that they would not be late for breakfast.

"It's just a hypothesis." Li Chenyang laughed it off. "Chenyang, who do you think is behind this?"

Li Chenyang looked at his father with an elusive expression. "No names have been deleted, but there are some speculations."

"Is that so?" Li Chenyang said thoughtfully. "So, who are they guessing?"

"Are you sure you want to know, Father?" Li Chenyang asked. "You know, I heard other things in court."

"like?"

"Our uncle is so incompetent." Li Chenyang said expressionlessly.

The three of them stopped at the same time. Li Wenmin looked around and found that there were no servants nearby who could hear them. Li Chenyang knew that this was a deserted place, so he decided to speak now and not wait until later.

"They think he hasn't done anything for the court except sit around drinking tea, toying with concubines, and deciding who else he should marry for the good of the country," Li Chenyang concluded, starting to walk again.

"You flatter me so much."

"I never flatter people, I just state the facts." Li Chenyang responded. He looked at Li Wenmin who was lost in thought. "Has the military talked to our uncle?"

“Ever since he cut funding for the army following his peace alliance with Han Jian, they haven’t been his biggest fans. We now lack the ample resources we had before.” Li Wenmin snorted.

Li Chenyang decided to verify his guess. "Father, do you think you can do something? The war is over, but that doesn't mean we should stop improving our fighter jets."

"You know, the emperor handles state affairs, especially the military, but you can ask Commander Wen Jinkai, he is closer to that person." Lord Li Chenyang explained.

Li Chenyang smiled to himself. Of course, his father always knew how to avoid traps. "None of us have a good relationship with him."

"Most of the militia in Wuyi listen to him, and he is respected by both his superiors and subordinates. People with twice as much experience as him are willing to bow their heads and salute when Commander Wen Jinkai passes by." Li Wenmin sneered.
