[HP Comprehensive UK and US] Platinum Stark
Chapter 2: First Encounter in Diagon Alley
Hogwarts is about to start school, which means that many Muggle parents will accompany their children to buy school supplies. A handsome man in a suit and sunglasses was walking aimlessly on the road.
His caramel-colored eyes behind his sunglasses were full of wonder as he took in everything around him and observed the people around him.
A place I've never heard of. Is that a broom shop? Such popular brooms. And a bank that looks like a small castle. Hmm, the British... they are the British. Wait, Ollivander's Wand Shop?
This looks like the clothes of the nobles of the last century, and they talk about "Potions homework" and "Quidditch"...
"My mother wanted me to go to Ilvermorny in America, but because..."
Stark, a genius who just graduated from MIT and is traveling around, said that the worldview shaped by his 17 years of scientific education is gradually collapsing.
Stark really wanted to think of this as a Hollywood set, but it was proven that having too high an IQ wasn't always a good thing. Everything he analyzed proved that this was a world that neither he nor many people had ever set foot in.
Tony Stark, who had accidentally entered here, followed a Muggle couple and came to Flourish and Blotts. He looked at the crowded bookstore in front of him, raised the frame of his sunglasses, and came to the corner behind the bookstore, ready to simply digest what he had seen and heard today.
There seemed to be ordinary people here, so there probably wouldn't be any danger. In that case, Stark wouldn't miss the chance to take risks!
"Oh!"
Tony turned around warily, facing the glowing fireplace, and watched a little girl fall out from there.
Well, nothing is strange here... It's not strange at all! Doesn't Newton care about this place?
Alicia Malfoy, who had just fallen out, was obviously not a natural Legilimency and could not read what this man was thinking.
The girl's landing posture was not pretty. She pretended to be calm and patted the dust off her hands. She took out all the etiquette knowledge in her memory to sort out the inappropriate parts, then glanced at the man elegantly and asked politely, "Excuse me, sir, which family are you from?"
The man in front of him had an arrogant look on his face, and the material of his clothes was not cheap. Although he had never seen such a man in a pure-blood family, he might be a talented half-blood.
Anyway, it can't be a Muggle or a Muggle-born wizard. They wouldn't dare to be so arrogant here.
I have to say that Alicia has perfectly inherited the characteristics of the Malfoy family.
Facing such a polite and lovely little girl, Tony, who was deep in thought, sighed and dozed off to the pillow: "Tony, my name is Tony Stark."
He did not explain much, but took off his sunglasses and seriously extended his hand to the little girl who was much shorter than him to show his friendliness.
Alicia was stunned. When a pure-blood man and woman met for the first time, they would usually bow slightly. However, her good upbringing prevented her from rejecting this man. Perhaps he was in the same situation as Professor Snape?
Daddy said that Professor Snape's father was a Muggle and his mother was a wizard, so Professor Snape's last name was not the last name of a pure-blood family.
"Malfoy. Alicia Malfoy."
The girl raised her chin somewhat arrogantly and gently held Tony's hand. Tony felt the coolness coming from her fingers and raised his eyebrows.
He briefly analyzed the current situation and followed the girl's words and said, "It turns out to be Miss Malfoy. I just came to the UK from the United States, so I am not very familiar with this place."
The eloquent Master Stark chose a reason that sounded reasonable.
It turns out that he is a half-blood wizard from the United States, which explains why he is not familiar with the surname Malfoy. Perhaps, his father does not have any business in the United States?
Alicia, who had only come into contact with the little British wizard and didn't know much about the family business, explained everything perfectly for Tony in her mind.
"I'm going to look for my parents and brother. They're waiting for me outside Gringotts. Since Mr. Stark is new here, why don't I introduce Diagon Alley to you on the way to Gringotts?" Alicia first explained to the mixed-race American that her parents were not far away, and then expressed her friendliness in a just right way.
No one could find fault with her.
"It's my pleasure, miss." Stark replied with a smile.
*
"Alicia." It was the voice of a little boy.
The girl who was called was now introducing the four major colleges of Hogwarts and the more than one hundred house-elves of Hogwarts to Tony. She and Stark had already walked around for a while. "Slytherin is the best college. I must be a Slytherin."
As soon as she finished speaking, she heard a familiar voice. It was the person Greengrass mentioned at the sisters' tea party - Cedric Diggory.
The boy with a sunny physique walked through the crowd and came to Alicia, smiled at the strange gentleman, and then said: "Alicia, Mr. Malfoy and the others seem to be waiting for you. Little Mr. Malfoy is at the door of Gringotts."
Alicia smiled perfectly. "Thank you, Cedric. I stayed in Flourish and Blotts for a while longer. Draco probably told his father because he was anxious."
"This is Mr. Stark."
Tony crossed his arms and looked at the nonsense girl. When he heard his name, he imitated the boy and gave him a formulaic enthusiastic smile.
Alicia felt the teasing gazes of the people around her, but her face remained flawless. After saying goodbye to Cedric, the little girl walked towards Florin's Ice Cream Shop and asked as she walked, "Maybe Mr. Stark would like an ice cream too?"
Tony laughed out loud, showing great interest in the "ice cream bribery operation": "I want blueberry flavor!"
The girl took out a gold galleon and said, "Two ice creams, one strawberry flavor and one blueberry flavor."
So, the adult and the child walked towards Gringotts contentedly with two ice creams.
"According to the sorting standards you just mentioned, if I go to Hogwarts, I will probably be sorted into Ravenclaw." Tony took a bite of ice cream and confidently guessed where he would be assigned.
Alicia raised her head when she heard that: "Anyway, it's good that it's not Gryffindor."
Tony didn't respond and asked another question: "Maybe I can go to Gringotts to exchange for some gold Galleons, since I'm doing business with ordinary people recently."
Known: Tony Stark, an American half-blood wizard who does business with Muggles, is rich and confident.
Alicia's mind was constantly enriched with information about Tony. Although she didn't like dealing with this kind of people, Malfoy would never make enemies with him. After all, Malfoy also had some industries in the Muggle world. Who would have trouble with money? "What a coincidence, my brother and I are also going to withdraw money."
There is an old Chinese saying that goes, Speak of the devil and he will appear, which is very applicable here.
Draco saw his sister from a distance, and... a man? A man he didn't know, and who didn't match his aura.
He walked quickly to his sister and anxiously held the little girl's hand: "Xia, how are you? Are you hurt?"
The latter patted his hands to indicate that nothing happened.
Some things are not convenient to say in front of outsiders. Draco looked at Tony coldly. Before he could ask, Alicia took the initiative to introduce them to each other.
After a few words, Draco understood the current situation. He raised his chin slightly, his eyes full of contempt. Although he was much shorter than Tony, he was still as impressive as ever. "Thank you Mr. Stark for sending my sister here. As a token of appreciation..."
"Miss Malfoy has already expressed her gratitude. Am I right, miss?" Tony was very unhappy when he saw the little boy's condescending attitude, so he decisively took over the conversation to prevent him from saying anything even more unpleasant to his taste.
Alicia saw Tony interrupting Draco, and a trace of dissatisfaction flashed through her heart. The Malfoy children were not good-tempered. She took the bag full of gold Galleons from her brother, shook it, and replied, "Yes. It's a coincidence that Mr. Stark's destination is also Gringotts. It seems that there is no chance to go together today. There are many interesting shops in Diagon Alley. However, next time you come to the UK, Mr. Stark can write to me. Malfoy Manor welcomes your owl. I wish you a happy time in the British wizarding world."
After she finished speaking, she smiled warmly, and then walked towards the Quidditch boutique hand in hand with Draco.
Before Tony could react to the distant yet polite answer and the warm smile, the two people disappeared from his sight.
fine, a typical British aristocratic courtesy.
The little girl probably didn't understand what rebellion was from Stark in the United States. This pair of twin siblings were the only ones he had ever seen who were more arrogant than him. Alicia was more restrained, but the little boy named Draco clearly looked down on him.
Writing letters, a way of communication from the last century, is only used here. Now it's the world of technology. I really don't understand why the wizards who communicate in this way would look down on a Stark.
Ni San was very unhappy, very unhappy.
Okay, since you said I could write a letter, I'll write it for you, Tony Stark thought.
But before that, he needed to understand the wizarding post office.
On the other side, Lucius left in a hurry after seeing that his daughter was safe, while Narcissa asked questions like which fireplace Alicia came out from, etc. Neither of them took the initiative to mention the part about Tony - Draco thought that there was nothing good to say to his mother about a pro-Muggle American half-blood wizard whom he had only met once.
Alicia knew without a doubt that her mom would ask her why she wanted to talk to a Muggle-friendly half-blood.
Maybe there really is some telepathy between boy-girl twins.
However, at this moment Draco did not know how much he would regret it in the future. He missed the great opportunity to expose Stark's "hypocritical mask" in front of his mother!
Tony paid the only cash he had in Galleons, ended the conversation with the shop owner, and walked out of Eeylops Owl Shop contentedly, carrying a cage with an owl in it.
He changed his mind. The correspondence between wizards was not as old-fashioned and boring as he had imagined. It turned out that the owl that Alicia mentioned as welcoming the manor was a real owl. He almost thought it was some slang in the wizarding world.
Tony accidentally stumbled upon a brown owl on a trip to Diagon Alley. He was curious about this new pet and named it Gold Galleon.
Sooner or later, I'll have to collect the silver Sickles and the bronze Knuts.
